161: Chapter 161 The Little Game of Sisters Swapping Identity

Who could have imagined things would become so exaggerated? The very thing she had once been proud of had now become the final obstacle between her and this boy.

Yun Zhuo smiled, laughing at the fact that he had truly had his eyes opened today.

The scene of the two embracing should have been warm and romantic, but at this moment, it felt as if they were holding two large watermelons between them.

He was genuinely puzzled; something that looked so elastic—how could it not be squashed flat?

Di Zhenzhen was so anxious she was almost in tears. "Can't—can't you just lower your head a little?"

...

The moon was large and round, hanging in the sky; its cool moonlight made Nun Village appear serene and peaceful.

In the living room of Yun Zhuo's home, on a square wooden table, four dishes and a soup were all covered with plates.

Teacher Su sat on the sofa with her lips pursed, her arms crossed over her chest and her legs crossed. She wore black high heels, the tops of which reflected the light from the ceiling.

She stared down at her toes, her gaze somewhat vacant, but her brow was tightly furrowed. From time to time, she let out a soft sigh, as if she were brooding over some troubling matter.

The sound of footsteps came from outside. She instinctively turned her head toward the door, her satin-like, wavy long hair cascading down her shoulders.

Her sister appeared at the doorway, wearing a slim-fit white shirt just like hers, with sleeves rolled up to the forearms. However, she had specifically tied a black satin ribbon under her collar to distinguish who was the elder sister and who was the younger, fearing a certain boy wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

Wearing identical black silk stockings and thin high heels, her heels clicked crisply against the floor.

"Where did Xiao Zhuo go? Why isn't he back yet?"

She rubbed her arms; the night breeze was a bit chilly, causing a fine layer of goosebumps to rise on her skin.

"I told you he definitely wouldn't be back this early today, but you didn't believe me and insisted on going to the door to check. See now?"

As Teacher Su spoke, she uncrossed her legs, walked to the table, pulled out a chair, and sat down.

Her black short skirt was already form-fitting; as she sat, her hip line was instantly outlined even more tightly, looking sharp yet slightly coquettish.

Seeing her sister still standing at the door, she waved her over. "Forget it, let's eat first. Don't wait for that boy; the food will get cold if it sits any longer."

"But Xiao Zhuo hasn't eaten yet."

"Him? He's probably full from drinking milk today."

As she spoke, she uncovered the dishes one by one, and the living room was instantly filled with a fragrant aroma.

She then picked up a small white porcelain bowl and handed it to her sister.

Her sister instinctively took the bowl and skillfully opened the rice cooker with her other hand. After serving a scoop of rice for her, she finally snapped out of it and couldn't help but ask again, "Let's leave some for Xiao Zhuo."

"I already did; it's in the oven."

"You knew all along?"

Teacher Su rolled her eyes. "Didn't I say so earlier? Did you just treat my words as wind passing through your ears?"

"Hey, is that any way to talk to your sister?"

"Tch, it's not even certain which of us is the elder sister."

"Fine then, from now on, you be the elder sister."

As she spoke, she handed the rice to Teacher Su.

"No thanks."

"Why not?"

"Because you're doing a great job as the elder sister."

"I think you're just used to taking advantage of the situation."

"If you're going to put it like that, then I'll have to speak the truth."

Sister Su was startled. "What truth?"

Teacher Su pointed her chopsticks at her and said in a worldly tone, "I really didn't want to expose those little thoughts of yours. Do you really want to be the younger sister?"

"You just want to be like me, being able to get all close and cuddly with that silly boy every day, don't you?"

"Wha—what are you talking about?" Sister Su's face turned red, and she said guiltily, "I—it's not what you think."

"How about we swap rooms tonight?"

"Huh?"

"Let's see if that boy can actually tell which of us is which."

"That... wouldn't be right, would it?"

"If you're not willing, then forget it." Teacher Su continued eating.

Big Teacher Su froze for a moment, suddenly feeling a wave of annoyance as if she had just let a grand prize slip through her fingers.

"Act—actually, if it's just a test, it's not entirely impossible."

Teacher Su laughed. "See? The fox's tail is showing."

"You..."

Big Teacher Su's face turned bright red instantly, realizing she had been teased by the girl again.

"Hmph!" She gave a soft snort and began to shovel rice into her mouth.

Little Teacher Su smiled and said, "Actually, I think it would be quite fun."

Big Teacher Su continued eating her rice, not even picking up any side dishes, just shoveling rice. This time, no matter what, she wouldn't fall for the girl's tricks again.

Little Teacher Su suddenly reached out and pulled the black ribbon from her neck.

Big Teacher Su was startled. "What are you doing?"

Little Teacher Su immediately mimicked her tone, softening her voice as she said, "I want to play a little game with my sister."

"Why are you mimicking the way I talk?"

"I'm mimicking you, and you can mimic me too. Or do you think you're too stupid to learn?"

Big Teacher Su cleared her throat, her voice gaining a bit of sharpness as she tapped the dish plate with her chopsticks. "I can't mimic you? Just hurry up and eat; the food is getting cold."

After speaking, she gave her sister a triumphant roll of her eyes, as if to say that mimicking her was a piece of cake.

Little Teacher Su chuckled. "There, from now on, you are the younger sister and I am the elder. Make sure you remember that."

"Hmm?" Big Teacher Su was stunned for a moment. "We can fool others like this, but that boy is our War Spirit Master. Do you really think you can fool him?"

"What about him being a War Spirit Master? He'd still have to look at the Character Panel to tell us apart, and he won't be staring at the panel all the time."

"As long as you don't show any cowardice, I guarantee it'll be fine."

"But—but what if he sees through it?"

"Then what? It's just for fun; if he finds out, the game is over."

"Then... what if he doesn't?"

"Hey, hey, look at how timid you're being. You're supposed to be me right now; would I ever say something like that?"

Big Teacher Su nodded. "You've forgotten that back when we were kids, the first time you asked me to cover for you, you were even more timid than I am now."

"I'm truly speechless. You still remember things from middle school until now."

"Hey, hey, you're me now. Would I talk like you just did?"

"Alright, then it's a deal. From now on, you're the younger sister and I'm the elder. Neither of us must let the cat out of the bag."

...

"The moon travels through the clouds like white lotuses, the night breeze brings bursts of happy songs, we sit beside the high haystacks, listening to mother tell stories of the past..."

Yun Zhuo lay on the ground, a black lace Ball Basket cushioned under his head. He gazed out the window, which now held only glass shards, and softly hummed the song.

His hand instinctively tapped out the rhythm on Di Zhenzhen's body.

The white and black nun's robes were neatly folded to the side.

"What song is this? It sounds very nice."

Sister Zhenzhen, who was in his arms, suddenly lifted her head. She pressed her hand against his chest and looked at him with eyes as soft as water.

"I've forgotten."

Di Zhenzhen's head drooped back down, resting on his shoulder once more.

Yun Zhuo looked down at her. "I really forgot. From the beginning, I don't think I ever knew the name of this song. And as you heard, I only know how to hum that one line."

Di Zhenzhen smiled slightly. "It seems to be getting late. Won't Little Teacher Su scold you when you go home?"

"Since you know it's late, why aren't you getting up?"

"It's too cold. It's warmer being close to you."

As she spoke, she nuzzled against Yun Zhuo and held him even tighter.

"Well, Sister Zhenzhen, we have a long time ahead of us. Why be so attached to a single moment?"

"There you go with your schemes again."

"Bah, what do you mean 'schemes'? Did I even use a protection?"

"You did. You're just trying to scheme against me. You really think I'm stupid?"

Sigh. Yun Zhuo sighed inwardly, suddenly feeling that chatting with Teacher Su was more interesting.

"Get up. I feel like my head is resting on a stone; it's quite uncomfortable."

Di Zhenzhen's face turned red, leaving Yun Zhuo looking puzzled. I'm the one resting on a stone; why are you blushing?
