335: Chapter 335: The Tournament Schedule Announced, Ancient Battlefield in the Starry Sky!

Time flew by.

In the blink of an eye, ten days had passed.

On the Bizarre Planet, Li Fan completed his thousandth boxing practice of the day.

"Now, I have completely mastered this improved Frenzied Battle Prairie Art!"

Li Fan withdrew his fist seal, a hint of excitement on his face.

The more he practiced this improved technique, the more he liked it.

Now that he had mastered it completely, the effect of his combat power boost had clearly taken another step forward.

And during these days...

Besides practicing his boxing, he hadn't slacked on his physical training either; all his physical attributes continued to soar.

Compared to two months ago...

He was now more than just a little bit stronger!

Even if he faced an ordinary sixth-stage Universe Level peak existence, he would have the strength to fight!

After checking the time...

Li Fan exited the Bizarre Planet.

"There are only two days left until the fourth stage begins. The competition format should be announced soon."

Li Fan murmured softly.

It was now very close to the start of the fourth stage.

Generally speaking, the format for the fourth stage would be announced the day before it started, which would be tomorrow.

Li Fan was still very curious about the details of this format.

"It's time to go out for some fresh air."

Li Fan stood up, deactivated the seclusion mode of his lounge, and prepared to take a walk in the spaceship's common area.

He had been in seclusion for two whole months, with absolutely no contact with the other Contestants.

He didn't know how much the other Contestants had changed during this time.

Not long after Li Fan stepped out of the lounge...

Peng Song, Duan Ping, Luo Ling, and Duan Linger came looking for him.

Seeing that Li Fan's aura had grown stronger once again...

The corners of their mouths couldn't help but twitch.

Li Fan was truly a freak!

Afterward, they took Li Fan to the common area. While admiring the magnificent scenery outside the spaceship, they chatted with him about what had happened on the ship over the past two months.

Actually, nothing major had happened.

With supervision on the ship, there were basically no conflicts between the Contestants.

Most Contestants even got along quite well, often arranging to spar in the martial arts training area.

However, for friends, even chatting about nonsense was very interesting, and they didn't feel the passage of time.

In a flash...

The group chatted until the next day.

And today was precisely when the fourth stage's competition format was to be announced.

Naturally, their conversation turned to this topic.

"I remember in the last Inheritance Competition, the fourth stage was a battle in a secret realm. I wonder if it will be the same this time?" Peng Song speculated.

Duan Ping shook his head at this. "It probably won't be the same. The fourth stage of the Inheritance Competition is different almost every time. This year, it's highly likely to be a format we've never seen before."

Beside them, Luo Ling frowned. "A format we've never seen before? What kind of format would that be?"

As the others discussed animatedly, Li Fan remained silent, calmly taking a sip of the tea in his cup.

Today was the day the format would be announced; if he wanted to know the details, he just had to wait quietly.

A few hours passed quickly.

In the common area, the discussions and speculations about the competition format were becoming more and more frequent.

However, with a sudden exclamation, everyone fell silent.

"The format is out! Look!"

That's right.

The format was finally out!

Without hesitation, Li Fan immediately opened the official website and checked the latest announcement regarding the competition format.

"The fourth stage of the Wushan Seat Inheritance Competition is about to begin. The competition format is now announced:

[This stage of the competition will take place entirely within an Ancient Battlefield. There, countless fallen predecessors rest. Your opponents, besides the bizarre ferocious beasts distributed throughout the Ancient Battlefield, will also include the spirit bodies of these predecessors in their youth (all crafted by professionals from the Cosmic Virtual Company).

These spirit bodies have no life and are like puppets, but each one contains the residual battle will of a predecessor. What you need to do is defeat these spirit bodies, causing the battle will of these predecessors to dissipate so they can rest in peace.

For every spirit body defeated, you will receive corresponding points based on its strength. The top three Contestants with the highest final scores will be the top three of this Inheritance Competition. (Note: Contestants cannot obtain each other's points by defeating one another. Defeating the bizarre ferocious beasts within the Ancient Battlefield will yield a very small amount of points.)]

The content of the competition format was very brief and simple.

However, when it fell before the eyes of the Contestants, they were dumbfounded.

Ancient Battlefield?

Spirit bodies of fallen predecessors?!

This really was different from previous competition formats!

For a moment...

The entire common area was filled with the sounds of the Contestants' discussions.

"Going to an Ancient Battlefield to fight against those fallen predecessors?"

"What Ancient Battlefield? Do I recall any major wars in the Wushan Seat?"

"Contestants can't plunder points from each other? This is great! Now we don't have to worry about Li—ahem, about others stealing our points!"

"Simply put, they want us to fight dead people? Are you kidding me?"

"Well! Out of our whole group, not a single person guessed this format."

"No, who could have guessed an Ancient Battlefield? It has to be the Cosmic Cloud Company; this planning is truly incredible!"
