252: Return to the cloud star, destroy the star!

In another direction on the edge of the Galaxy.

The Apocalypse appeared.

Inside the ship, Lin Yang was awakened early by the System.

“System, have you found a suitable combat planet yet?” Lin Yang asked as he stepped out of the hibernation pod.

“Not yet, Host. We have now left the Galaxy. The System believes we can make a detour to Guiyun Star to buy some warships and weapons more suitable for space combat.”

The System explained the reason for waking Lin Yang early.

“Alright.” Lin Yang naturally had no objections.

Then he went to the training room to check on Cang Miao. This kid hadn't hibernated these past few days; he was training himself almost all day, every day.

The intensity of his training was two or three times stronger than planned.

It could be said he was extremely diligent.

“Cang Miao, you don't need to train at such high intensity.” Lin Yang frowned and said, “I told you before, you need to balance work and rest. Just complete your daily training plan, and ensure you get enough rest the rest of the time so your body can recover after training!”

Cang Miao's training plan was formulated by the System and was already the optimal training plan based on his current physical condition.

And Cang Miao's current training intensity, exceeding the plan by several times, was not a good thing.

“Commander, I want to work harder,” Cang Miao said, a little embarrassed.

Lin Yang looked at him and said seriously, “I understand your desire to grow stronger as soon as possible, and your idea of training diligently is commendable, but your training plan was strictly formulated!”

“If you continue to maintain such high-intensity continuous training, although you might feel some improvement in the short term, your body will not be able to bear it after a few months. At that time, you'll have to rest to recuperate, which would be counterproductive.”

Cang Miao was startled, then wanted to say that he could endure it.

But Lin Yang said with a serious expression, “You just became an adult not long ago; your body still needs some time to develop and stabilize. You must not be greedy for quick results. You must ensure you have enough time to rest so your body can recover every day!”

“Yes, Cang Miao understands.” Seeing Lin Yang's serious tone, Cang Miao immediately promised to strictly follow the training plan from now on.

Receiving the assurance, Lin Yang nodded with satisfaction, “Good, you go back and rest first. From now on, just follow the training plan. Being too eager is actually not good.”

“Okay, Commander, Cang Miao will remember that.” Cang Miao bowed and turned to return to his rest pod.

“Host, this kid is very hardworking and can endure hardships. He possesses the qualities a qualified Super Warrior should have. It seems we truly found a treasure this time.”

After Cang Miao left, the System actually praised him.

“Set up the ship's training room so it automatically closes when the time is up each day. Hard work is good, but too much hard work can also harm the body. I don't want him to overexert himself too much because he's in a hurry.”

Lin Yang, however, didn't want Cang Miao to injure himself by rushing his training.

While Cang Miao's willingness to train diligently was a good thing, everything needed to be done in moderation.

Too much was as bad as too little.

“Understood, Host.”

After half a day, the Apocalypse once again arrived near Guiyun Star.

But the sight before them left both Lin Yang and the System silent.

Guiyun Star, which was incredibly prosperous before, was now utterly desolate!

The once bustling space city in outer space was now dilapidated. The massive space city seemed to have been destroyed by an unknown force, with building fragments constantly falling into the universe or towards Guiyun Star's interior. Some areas were still burning.

The entire space city was now nothing but a broken shell.

The tens of thousands of space elevators that had shocked Lin Yang last time were all broken.

There was no sign of life within the planet either!

Through the observation screen, it could be seen that all the cities inside the planet were incredibly ruined. Those ten-thousand-meter-high buildings were all broken in half, and the entire city seemed to have been ravaged by artillery fire, with no living creatures remaining!

The entire planet looked as if it had experienced a major war and was then destroyed.

Although the planet still existed, its interior was a scene of doomsday.

Smoke billowed everywhere, and flames shot into the sky.

Lin Yang stood by the viewport, stunned by these scenes!

“Is this… is this still Guiyun Star?”

After a long silence, Lin Yang murmured.

It had been less than a month since his last arrival at Guiyun Star.

A planet that was so prosperous a month ago was now utterly destroyed!

The vibrant planetary landscape from his last visit was still vivid in his memory, but what lay before him was a scene of doomsday.

Lin Yang couldn't imagine what had happened on Guiyun Star in that single month to cause such destruction.

One must know that Guiyun Star was the Red Thunder Empire's second-largest planet!

And the Red Thunder Empire was a peak Third-Level Civilization, one that was only half a step away from advancing to a Fourth-Level Civilization!

Yet, even so, Guiyun Star was still annihilated!

Lin Yang was somewhat shocked!

The System had previously said that Fourth-Level Civilization were on another level and rarely appeared. In the nearby starfield, the strongest was only a peak Third-Level Civilization like the Red Thunder Empire.

However, an entire planet was still slaughtered!

This was incredibly unbelievable!

Cang Miao also walked over at this time, and seeing the annihilated Guiyun Star, he too fell silent.

Although he had been captured as a slave by the people of Guiyun Star, the slaughter of hundreds of billions of people on the entire planet still shocked Cang Miao.

“Host, I think we need to leave quickly!”

The System spoke, its voice carrying an unprecedented seriousness and solemnity.

“System, do you know what happened here?” Lin Yang suppressed the shock in his heart and quietly asked.

“Host, it's clear that Guiyun Star was annihilated, but the specific reason is something the System cannot currently ascertain. All intelligent devices on Guiyun Star have been destroyed, leaving no trace.”

While answering, the System emphasized again, “Host, we must leave immediately. Regardless of why Guiyun Star was annihilated, remaining here will only invite danger.”

“Okay!”

Lin Yang glanced back at the now dilapidated Guiyun Star and authorized the Apocalypse to immediately accelerate away.

Only after completely moving away from Guiyun Star did the shock in Lin Yang's heart slightly subside. He asked the System, “Didn't you say before that the Red Thunder Empire was the strongest in the nearby starfield? How could Guiyun Star be annihilated?”

“Host, perhaps the Red Thunder Empire encountered a powerful enemy or provoked some existence it shouldn't have, which led to Guiyun Star's annihilation.”

“Can you detect the situation of other planets in the Red Thunder Empire?” Lin Yang asked again.

He wanted to know if only Guiyun Star was annihilated, or if the entire Red Thunder Empire was wiped out.

“Host, according to the System's detection, only Guiyun Star was annihilated. The other nearby planets of the Red Thunder Empire are still intact.”

“Hmm? Only Guiyun Star was annihilated?” Lin Yang's brows furrowed instantly, “Then what's the Red Thunder Empire's reaction? Is there any announcement or anything? Have they said anything about seeking revenge?”
