263: Help each other?

Lin Mu stared at the warships, a series of data visible only to him rapidly flashing in his eyes, analyzing the situation of both friend and foe.

Li Shan and Li Mu were momentarily stunned by Lin Mu's sudden appearance.

They had never expected there to be other living beings here!

However, the next instant, Li Shan stared at Lin Mu for a moment, as if he had discovered something, and suddenly said:

"No, he shouldn't be human. He isn't even wearing a protective suit, yet he can move freely outside. This must be a highly intelligent Robot!"

Upon hearing this, Li Mu on the side was instantly surprised: "Uncle, what did you say? He's a Robot? How is that possible?"

He looked at Lin Mu in disbelief. He clearly looked like a living person, so how could he be a Robot?

Li Shan ignored him and instead spoke to Lin Mu: "Esteemed Robot, we mean no harm. This is our clan's resource territory. I think your companions might need rescue, and we can offer assistance."

Lin Mu's eyes flickered, seemingly analyzing the credibility of Li Shan's words.

Seeing this, Li Shan immediately continued: "Esteemed Robot, you must have just returned to the spaceship crash site to find protective equipment for your companions, right?"

Lin Mu did not answer.

Li Shan continued: "But it's clear that you haven't found any usable protective equipment. This planet is extremely remote, and even with protective equipment, it would be difficult to leave without a spaceship. Why not come with us first to our clan to rescue your companions?"

Upon hearing this, Lin Mu began to ponder.

Li Shan was right; he hadn't been able to obtain protective equipment from the Apocalypse just now.

Although most of the Apocalypse was damaged, the most crucial rooms were locked, and he had no authority to enter them.

Therefore, he had returned empty-handed.

If he didn't accept Li Shan's assistance, then once the oxygen in the escape pod ran out, Lin Yang and Cang Miao would surely die.

Among all his directives, Lin Yang was the most primary; everything had to be calculated with the priority of protecting Lin Yang.

Therefore, after a moment of thought, Lin Mu decided to accept Li Shan's rescue.

Seeing Lin Mu accept the rescue, Li Shan landed his spaceship, allowing Lin Mu to bring the two escape pods into the main vessel, while the unpowered mech entered the cargo hold.

"Esteemed Robot, your companions seem to have sustained some injuries and require treatment."

After entering the spaceship, Lin Mu opened the escape pods, but Lin Yang and Cang Miao were still unconscious.

Li Shan immediately saw that both of them might have some internal injuries and suggested taking them to the medical bay for treatment.

"Thank you."

Lin Mu secretly scanned Lin Yang and Cang Miao's physical conditions, then sent them both into the spaceship's medical bay for treatment.

...

Lin Yang felt himself enveloped by a dark space, unable to find an exit.

After an unknown amount of time, a ray of light suddenly pierced through the dark space.

This ray of light grew from weak to strong, from far to near, quickly becoming dazzling, tearing apart the entire dark space.

When the extremely dazzling light enveloped him, Lin Yang felt a sharp pain in his eyes and instinctively closed them to avoid it. When he opened his eyes again to check the situation, he found himself lying in a bright room.

The fluorescent light in the room was directly above his head.

"Where is this...?"

Lin Yang was momentarily dazed and couldn't help but look around the room.

He vaguely remembered being on the Apocalypse before, but this didn't look like a room on the Apocalypse.

But when he tried to recall, his head throbbed, causing him to cry out in pain.

However, after this pain, his previous memories flooded back like a tide.

The scenes of him intercepting Soman's expeditionary fleet, the Apocalypse then being intercepted by a Fourth-Level Civilization powerhouse who demanded he hand over Cang Miao, and finally, spending all his national treasure value for a space jump, all appeared in his mind one by one.

Just as Lin Yang endured his headache to sort through the memory information, the room door opened, and two people walked in.

Lin Yang immediately saw a familiar figure.

"Lin Mu!"

Seeing Lin Mu appear, Lin Yang was somewhat surprised.

"Commander, you're awake!" Lin Mu stepped forward, and seeing Lin Yang recover, the expression on his face relaxed.

"Mm." Lin Yang nodded, wanting to ask what had happened after the Apocalypse performed the jump, but seeing the other bald-headed person in the room, he held back his questions.

Seemingly noticing his gaze, the bald young man proactively said: "Hello, my name is Li Mu. This is our clan's medical room. My uncle and I found your and your companion's escape pods on our resource mining planet. After getting permission from your intelligent Robot companion, we rescued you."

Lin Yang looked at Lin Mu upon hearing this.

Lin Mu nodded and quickly explained what had happened.

"So that's how it is. Thank you for your rescue, Esteemed Li Mu." Lin Yang thanked him solemnly.

"You're welcome. We all encounter accidents and difficulties while living in the universe, so we should naturally help each other." Li Mu chuckled, appearing very sincere.

These words, however, somewhat confused Lin Yang.

In the universe, they should help each other?

This...

It seems a bit off, doesn't it?

In the universe, cruelty is the truth.

These words about mutual help...

They sound a bit strange no matter how he heard them.

This was different from the law of survival in the universe as he knew it.

He really wanted to ask what was going on, but he held back and instead said: "Where is my other companion?"

He was, of course, referring to Cang Miao.

"You don't have to worry. Your companion is next door to you. He suffered a much more severe impact than you, and is estimated to wake up in another two hours." Li Mu replied.

"Impact?" Lin Yang frowned.

"Yes, it should be that your spaceship suffered an impact when it crashed. But you don't have to worry, we have already treated him, and there are no other major issues." Li Mu said again.

"Thank you." Lin Yang thanked him again, feeling a bit heavy-hearted.

They had treated Cang Miao?

Wouldn't that mean they would have discovered that Cang Miao's blood recovery rate was five times that of a normal person?

If the news got out...

He was a little worried, but looking at Li Mu's expression, he found that the other party didn't seem to have noticed this.

Lin Yang was puzzled but couldn't ask directly.

Li Mu, seeing this, suddenly took the initiative to say: "It's good that you're awake. I'm sure you just woke up and probably have something to say to your companion, so I won't disturb your rest for now. If you need anything, you can call me."

After speaking, he voluntarily exited the room, appearing very considerate.

This left Lin Yang somewhat astonished.

Not only did the other party's words somewhat contradict his understanding of the universe's survival laws, but now he was also so polite.

He couldn't help but look at Lin Mu.

At this moment, he urgently needed to know what had happened after the Apocalypse performed the jump.

First, thank you to the beautiful sister of Zhujin Road for the 500-coin reward! I wish you eternal youth and immense wealth! I bow to you!

Secondly, I apologize, Xiao Hu had some health issues and went to the hospital for a check-up today, which caused a delay. I will compensate with three updates tomorrow!

I kowtow to everyone for your forgiveness!
