196: Spark Organization

Bibi Dong’s gaze swept over Ah Yin, finally resting back on Liu Erlong, her voice suddenly turning cold and murderous, filled with deep-seated hatred, “There’s also a blood debt. A blood debt… that we must personally reclaim!”

“Blood debt?” Liu Erlong was startled, the flames around her subsiding slightly.

“Qian Xunji.”

Bibi Dong uttered this name, and the surrounding temperature seemed to drop instantly by several degrees, an invisible killing intent permeating the air. “The harm he inflicted upon me, the lies he used to slander Yu Han, his attempt to destroy everything we had… This debt must be repaid with blood!”

Her words were like poisoned ice picks, every single one imbued with monstrous hatred and a will to destroy.

Liu Erlong looked at the undisguised, almost solidified cold killing intent in Bibi Dong’s eyes, feeling the terrifying Soul Power pressure that suddenly erupted and instantly receded from her, and her heart trembled.

She recalled the earth-shattering chase on the wasteland, and Qian Xunji’s nauseating face. So that’s how it was… There was such a deep enmity between Bibi Dong and Qian Xunji.

“Reclaiming the debt… count me in!”

Liu Erlong said without any hesitation, her voice resolute, and a flame of vengeance likewise ignited in her crimson eyes.

She had no good feelings for Qian Xunji; that hypocritical Supreme Pontiff not only slandered Mo Yuhan but was also a symbol of the entire Spirit Hall’s corrupt order.

For Mo Yuhan, and for the injustice she felt in her own heart, she was determined to avenge this grudge!

“Good!” A hint of approval flashed in Bibi Dong’s eyes. Liu Erlong’s fierce and decisive nature was very much to her liking.

She changed the subject, her voice taking on a deeper power: “But this revenge is not merely the pleasure of slaughter. Before Yu Han left, he left behind a vision, a… seed for the future.”

Her gaze turned to Ah Yin.

Ah Yin understood, stepping forward, her azure eyes shimmering with gentle yet firm light as she looked at Liu Erlong: “Miss Liu, Yu Han… always believed that between Spirit Beasts and humans, there isn’t only a destiny of hunting and being hunted. He yearned to break this chain of hatred that has persisted for countless generations, to find a… path of coexistence.”

“Coexistence? Spirit Beasts and humans?”

Liu Erlong was stunned, her heroic eyebrows tightly furrowed.

This idea was too unconventional, even somewhat inconceivable, for someone like her who had grown up in a Spirit Master family where hunting Spirit Beasts to obtain spirit rings was a matter of course.

“This… how is that possible?” she blurted out instinctively.

“Why not possible?”

Bibi Dong’s voice carried an undeniable authority, as if stating a truth, “Rules are written by the strong, and order is established by power. Qian Xunji represents the old, corrupt, and oppressive order filled with plunder and oppression.

And what we are to establish is a new order! An order that… at least for the ‘coexistence’ that Yu Han hoped for, tears open a crack and leaves a sliver of possibility!”

Her gaze was sharp as a knife, sweeping over Liu Erlong and Ah Yin: “Revenge is the thunder that destroys the old World. And building new possibilities is the spark we ignite on the ruins.

These two are indispensable. Without the power of revenge, so-called ideals are just castles in the air; without the guidance of ideals, revenge will only fall into an endless cycle of slaughter!”

Bibi Dong’s voice echoed over the Lake of Life, carrying a deafening power.

Liu Erlong listened in a daze, the shock in her heart immeasurable.

She had thought it was simply revenge, but she hadn’t expected that, in the words of Bibi Dong and Ah Yin, this revenge would be endowed with such grand and profound meaning! Destroying the old order represented by Qian Xunji, and at the same time… trying to touch Mo Yuhan’s seemingly far-fetched dream?

Ah Yin walked to Liu Erlong’s side and gently held her hand, which was trembling slightly from excitement and shock.

A gentle and vibrant power flowed from her palm, soothing her restless Soul Power.

“Miss Liu, the possibilities Yu Han believed in need power to protect and toopen up (develop/pioneer). Sister Bibi Dong needs the strength of her former subordinates, and allies like you who are full of courage and potential. And we…”

Ah Yin looked at Bibi Dong, her eyes filled with unreserved trust and support, “need an organization, one hidden in the shadows, accumulating strength, and at the same time researching the faint but precious possibility of ‘coexistence’ between Spirit Beasts and humans. For revenge, and also for… the future.”

Liu Erlong felt the gentle power from Ah Yin’s palm, listened to her sincere words, and then looked at Bibi Dong’s purple eyes, full of power and ambition.

The flames of revenge, her concern for Mo Yuhan, and her deep-seated instinctive aversion to the corrupt order of the Spirit Hall… and the unprecedented impact brought by the concept of “coexistence”… various complex emotions clashed fiercely within her heart.

She had joined the Spirit Hall to find Mo Yuhan, to expose the lies.

Now, Mo Yuhan was alive, but the road ahead was arduous; the lies were right before her eyes, but the enemy was incredibly powerful.

The vision described by Bibi Dong and Ah Yin, though the path ahead was fraught with thorns and even tinged with idealism, possessed an exhilarating and groundbreaking appeal.

More importantly, this was what Mo Yuhan hoped for.

That little rascal, what kind of wild ideas were in his head?

Liu Erlong’s lips suddenly curved into a wild arc, like burning flames. Who cared!

Since it was what he wanted to do, since these two powerful and unique women were willing to give their all for it…

“Good!”

Liu Erlong firmly grasped Ah Yin’s hand in return, and in her fiery red eyes, flames burned even hotter and more resolute than before. She looked at Bibi Dong, her voice decisive and filled with unwavering determination:

“Count me in! For revenge, count me in! And for that… coexistence research, count me in too! If that little rascal Mo Yuhan wants to turn the World upside down, I, Liu Erlong, will help him fan the flames!”

Watching the fighting spirit burning in Liu Erlong’s eyes and that heartfelt recognition, a ripple that could truly be called a “smile” finally spread in the depths of Bibi Dong’s serene, ice-like purple eyes.

She extended her hand, her fair palm facing upwards.

Ah Yin smiled and placed her hand on top of it.

Liu Erlong did not hesitate, her hand, with its scorching warmth, firmly covered Ah Yin’s hand.

Three distinct hands stacked together—one fair and slender, containing the cold power to control life and death.

One warm and delicate, flowing with vast life essence; one bearing the marks of battle and scorching warmth, full of explosive power.

Three different Soul Powers, at this moment, resonated strangely because of their shared concern for one person and one common goal.

“Then,” Bibi Dong’s voice was clear and strong, like announcing the prelude to a new era, “from today onwards, the ‘Spark’ organization shall be ignited here.”

A single spark can start a prairie fire, and its momentum is to be awaited.
