91: Shocking Extraterrestrial Civilization

Shen Xiaochuan carefully tucked the newly acquired "Controlled Nuclear Fusion" technical manual into his chest. The blue-white flame in his palm slowly extinguished, and the surrounding heat wave vanished. The black warship had already flown away, disappearing from sight. He stood on the high platform of the Main Hall, released the stone railing he had been gripping, and turned to walk into the grand hall.

Carl and Zhou Mingrui were waiting for him inside. Both had been tense moments ago but relaxed upon seeing him return.

"The warship is gone," Carl said.

"I know." Shen Xiaochuan nodded. "Go notify everyone, Level One combat readiness is lifted."

He stroked his chin and sneered, "No meeting. Zhou Mingrui, you handle three things—distribute this month's salary early, add a ten percent bonus, and give the entire city the day off tomorrow!"

Zhou Mingrui took out his recording slate. "The commercial district was originally scheduled to open next month. How about we start trial operations now? Let the residents take a look first?"

"That works," Shen Xiaochuan replied. "Consider it a holiday benefit. But security must be strengthened; nothing can go wrong."

"Understood." Zhou Mingrui put away his slate and hurried out to make arrangements.

Carl didn't move. "Aren't you going after that warship? It came for the treasure."

"Can't catch it." Shen Xiaochuan looked out the window. "There's a powerful force behind it. We need to stabilize ourselves first. Let's finish building Skydome City and stockpile resources. Next time they come, we won't have to rely solely on intimidation."

Carl smiled. "Alright! What are you doing next?"

Just then, a strange energy fluctuation echoed from outside the city.

"Go check the newly dug canal on the west side of the city first," Shen Xiaochuan walked toward the exit. "Then check on the guard situation at the mineral lake. Even though the warship left, we cannot relax."

As he stepped out of the Main Hall, sunlight illuminated the steps. People were already gathering in the distant plaza. News had spread quickly—everyone knew the divine kingdom had successfully upgraded and the enemy had been scared off. Children were shouting "Day off!" in the streets, and a few elders sat under the eaves smoking, their faces no longer etched with worry.

Shen Xiaochuan walked along the street. Some people recognized him and greeted him one after another. He nodded and continued walking forward.

He knew clearly that this victory was not easy. The fifth divine kingdom was completed, and the System determined that the Huaxia Civilization had revived, causing all real-world disasters to stop. This wasn't accidental; the rules had taken effect. His faith points increased from +1 per second to +3, and his Mall access level rose to S+; these were tangible results.

In the past, some people mocked him for building Skydome City as a pipe dream, but no one said that now. However, he didn't care about that; he only wanted to accomplish his goals.

On the road, people noticed the book in his hand and looked envious. Someone shouted, "God Shen, you are incredible!"

He knew that many people were beginning to believe in him.

But what he didn't know was that on the other side of the Milky Way Galaxy, countless eyes were already fixed on him.

On the homeworld of the Trisolarans, inside a crystal hall, four-headed, eight-eyed beings were arguing.

"Blue Star environmental index 98.7, good atmosphere, abundant water, stable crust," one voice stated. "But the humans there actually allowed a being designated 9527 to complete a king-rank divine kingdom first! This is impossible!"

"We discovered that planet three hundred years ago!" another roared. "Why didn't we act sooner? Why let them develop?"

A Trisolaran gritted its teeth. "We must seize all of Blue Star's resources and crush the humans underfoot!"

"No," the third said calmly. "Rules restrict us. Only native Awakeners can bind to the divine kingdom System. We cannot interfere directly."

"Then fight!" the fourth roared. "Send the fleet to destroy their temples, enslave the Believers, and transport all the resources away!"

The hall quieted for a few seconds. Then, all the crystals lit up red.

Resolution passed: Launch Operation 'Harvest' against Blue Star, target—seize the Fifth divine kingdom core.

The order had just been issued, and the fleet hadn't even departed, when the entire homeworld suddenly shook violently. An energy beam pierced the defenses, striking directly at the center of the council. The Trisolarans panicked and screamed, all their previous Aura gone.

At the same time, on the flagship of the Three Flame Civilization, a commander in black armor stared at Shen Xiaochuan on the projection.

"+3 faith points per second... the growth rate is too fast; it defies logic," he said. "Either he has a special Physique, or he has support from a high-tier civilization."

He turned and roared at his subordinate, "No matter what method you use, you must control Shen Xiaochuan! The technology on him must belong to us!"

He pressed the communication button. "Send stealth ships to approach Blue Star's orbit and make contact with his Believers. If we can win them over, offer them the position of Vice God King. If not... plant a psychic imprint and turn him into a Puppet."

After the order was given, a slender silver spacecraft slid out from the mothership and quietly headed toward the Solar System.

The moment the ship entered Blue Star's orbit, it was trapped by an energy net. Shen Xiaochuan appeared in front of the ship, exuding immense pressure. The ship's pilot immediately collapsed, handed over all technical data, and fled in panic.

In the depths of the Universe, inside a floating divine temple, an old white-haired priest opened his eyes.

The scepter in his hand cracked, revealing a golden pattern, and buzzed audibly.

"Designate 9527..." he murmured. "The faith growth rate is abnormal; it's neither destiny nor a divine gift. This person... has touched the essence of time."

He stood up and walked to the stone tablet in the center of the divine temple, placing his hand upon it.

Golden characters appeared:

[Supreme Sacred Edict]

Do not proactively attack the deity designated 9527.

Violators will be considered enemies of the Shenli Civilization.

After issuing the command, the old priest closed his eyes, and his figure dissolved into points of light, vanishing.

However, this order had already traveled through the universal Law network, reaching all three thousand Star Domains.

At this moment, outside Blue Star, dozens of advanced civilizations simultaneously activated their intelligence Systems. Probing beams passed through space, locking onto Earth, and began scanning Shen Xiaochuan's divine kingdom data.

"Target 9527, age twenty, initial talent has no combat attributes, currently possesses S-rank passive 'Faith Accumulation,' suspected to be evolving."

"Divine kingdom Fusion combines ancient civilization and modern infrastructure; structure is unique."

"Recently acquired 'Controlled Nuclear Fusion' technology; energy rating S-rank."

"Current status: Calm, unaware of external attention."

Summarized into one sentence:

"This individual has been listed on the S-rank Potential Deity Watchlist."

Inside Skydome City, Shen Xiaochuan knew nothing. He had just finished inspecting the canal project and was heading toward the mineral lake.

On the way, children ran past holding nutrient packs, and elders waved with smiles.

He walked through the streets, feeling the liveliness of the city. Suddenly, a flash of light streaked across the sky.

He instantly teleported over, energy condensing in his hand, crushing a hidden alien probe, and shouting coldly, "Dare to invade, and you shall be executed!"

In the evening, the entire city began hanging lights. Every household lit lanterns, making the streets as bright as day. People were cooking, and the aroma drifted throughout the streets. The commercial district gates opened, stalls were set up, preparing for the official opening tomorrow.

Shen Xiaochuan returned to the high platform of the Main Hall, gazing out at the entire city.

The lights were bright, and the people's hearts were settled.

He touched the Gear Pendant on his cuff; the metal felt slightly hot, as if it had absorbed the day's sunlight.

"This is just the beginning," he said.

At that moment, an extremely thin ray of light flashed across the sky. It was a quantum detection wave from thirty thousand light-years away, piercing the atmosphere and landing on the clothes on his left shoulder, lingering for 0.03 seconds. A flash of light erupted from his body; the divine kingdom's power automatically defended, weakening most of the detection effect.

After the light disappeared, a micro-chip quietly embedded itself into the clothing fiber, slowly beginning to transmit information.

Shen Xiaochuan did not notice. He turned and entered the Main Hall, preparing to rest.

Just as he was about to lie down, the divine kingdom map in the Main Hall suddenly flickered, and a mysterious red dot appeared in an unknown region. What secret was hidden within this red dot?
