72: Qin Yao: Welcome, Sister Biyue, to Goddess Peak

Ji Biyue was caught between laughter and tears by her antics. She reached out to pat her hand gently and chided, "You girl, you're about to become a mother, so why are you still so improper?"

Ji Ziyue blinked, leaned into Ji Biyue's ear, and whispered, "Older Female Cousin, you are Brother Wen's woman now. How does it feel? Are you especially happy?" Her tone carried a hint of mischief, yet it also held sincere concern.

Ji Biyue's face turned even redder. She gave her a light push and whispered, "You girl, stop talking nonsense!"

Seeing this, Ji Ziyue laughed even more happily. She turned to walk toward Ye Wen and said with mock seriousness, "Brother Wen, my Older Female Cousin is a treasure of our Ji Family. You must treat her well, or I won't let you off!"

Ye Wen smiled helplessly and nodded. "Rest assured, Purple Moon, I will take good care of Biyue."

Ji Ziyue nodded with satisfaction, then returned to her quirky self. She clapped her hands and said, "Alright, I won't disturb you two any longer. Continue your lovey-dovey time! But remember to come out for breakfast early; I can't stand being hungry!" As she spoke, she intentionally patted her stomach, her face full of a mischievous smile.

After speaking, she turned and walked toward the door. Before leaving, she didn't forget to look back and wink at Ji Biyue, leaving behind a string of silver-bell-like laughter.

Inside the room, Ji Biyue and Ye Wen looked at each other and smiled, shaking their heads helplessly. Ji Biyue's face still held a faint blush, but her eyes were full of happiness and sweetness. She knew that from now on, her life would not only have Ye Wen's company but also the laughter brought by this quirky younger cousin.

Just then, the door was pushed open gently, and Yan Ruyu walked in slowly, carrying a bowl of steaming red bean porridge. She wore a simple and elegant white ruqun, the hem embroidered with several graceful orchids that swayed gently with her steps, making her look exceptionally gentle and moving. Her belly was high and bulging; being seven months pregnant made her steps slightly slow, but her movements remained elegant and composed, her face carrying a gentle smile.

Her long hair was pinned up gently with a jade hairpin, with a few strands falling by her ears, making her face look even softer. Her skin was fair as jade, and her cheeks, slightly plump due to pregnancy, were tinged with a faint blush. Her whole being seemed enveloped in a soft glow.

As soon as she entered, she saw Ji Ziyue standing in the middle of the room with a grin, and a hint of helplessness flashed in her eyes. She said softly, "Purple Moon, you've come so early; don't disturb the Saint and Sister Biyue's rest." Her voice was soft as water, carrying a hint of reproach but without losing its gentleness.

Ji Ziyue stuck out her tongue and said with mock grievance, "Sister Ruyu, I'm just concerned about my Older Female Cousin! Why are you blaming me too?"

Yan Ruyu smiled slightly and said no more. Instead, she carried the red bean porridge to the bedside. Seeing this, Ye Wen quickly stood up to meet her, taking the bowl from her hands and saying with concern, "Ruyu, your body is heavy. You should let the servants do these things; why come in person?"

Yan Ruyu shook her head gently and said softly, "It's fine, Saint. I just wanted to personally cook a bowl of red bean porridge for Sister Biyue, as a way to welcome her into our family." Her gaze fell upon Ji Biyue in Ye Wen's arms, her eyes full of tenderness and blessings.

Ye Wen handed the red bean porridge to Ji Biyue in his arms and said softly, "Biyue, drink it while it's hot. Ruyu prepared this specially for you."

Ji Biyue took the bowl and felt the warmth radiating from it, her heart filled with emotion. She looked up at Yan Ruyu, her eyes full of gratitude and respect, and said softly, "Thank you, Sister Ruyu. You are truly so thoughtful."

Yan Ruyu smiled slightly, reached out to gently stroke Ji Biyue's hair, and said softly, "Sister Biyue, from now on, you are a member of Goddess Peak and a part of our family. Welcome to our midst; from now on, we are one family."

Her tone was full of sincerity and warmth, like a spring breeze gently brushing across Ji Biyue's heart. Feeling her kindness, Ji Biyue couldn't help but have a glimmer of tears in her eyes as she said softly, "Sister Ruyu, thank you. I will definitely cherish this family and cherish every one of you."

The door was pushed open gently once again, and Qin Yao walked in with light steps, her seven-month-pregnant belly leading the way. She wore a sheer gauze nightgown as thin as a cicada's wing, the soft material clinging to her graceful figure. Despite being pregnant, she still couldn't hide her charming and moving temperament. Her long hair was draped casually over her shoulders, and there was a hint of laziness and flirtatiousness in her eyes, like a vexing little vixen, every move exuding a captivating charm.

Her nightgown was light purple, with a thin ribbon tied around her waist, outlining her still slender waistline. Her belly was high and bulging, but it didn't look clumsy at all; instead, it added a few points of maternal grace to her. Her skin was fair and delicate, appearing even smoother due to the pregnancy, and her whole being seemed enveloped in a faint glow.

As soon as she entered, her gaze swept across the room. Seeing Yan Ruyu and Sister Ziyue, the corners of her mouth curled up slightly, revealing a charming smile as she said in a soft, seductive voice, "Oh my, Sister Ruyu and Sister Ziyue are here too. It's truly lively!"

Her gaze then landed on Ye Wen by the bed, a mischievous glint flashing in her eyes. She walked slowly to Ye Wen's side, resting her hand gently on his shoulder, and said with a hint of teasing, "Little Master, you must have worked hard last night. Why are you so energetic so early in the morning? It seems Sister Biyue's charm is indeed not small!"

Ye Wen was a bit embarrassed by her words. He coughed lightly and said with mock seriousness, "Qin Yao, you girl, why are you still so disrespectful?"

Hearing this, Qin Yao let out a charming laugh and reached out to poke his chest gently, her tone carrying a hint of acting spoiled. "Little Master, you're being partial! Sister Biyue became yours last night, so am I not allowed to joke today?"

Her gaze then fell upon Ji Biyue in Ye Wen's arms, her eyes flashing with tenderness and a smile. She leaned down slightly, approaching Ji Biyue, her tone carrying a mix of teasing and sincerity. "Sister Biyue, welcome to the big family of Goddess Peak. From now on, you are one of us and also Little Master's woman. You must take good care of him, but..." At this point, she paused intentionally, a flash of craftiness in her eyes. "If he bullies you, just tell me, and I'll help you teach him a lesson!"

Ji Biyue's face flushed with a blush at her words. She said softly, "Sister Qin Yao, thank you. I will definitely cherish this family and take good care of the Saint."
