217: A strange signal has been detected on the Orion Arm!

When the massive silhouette of the expedition, filled with a sense of sci-fi and future, transformed like a deity into a streak of seven-colored light and vanished into the endless dark universe, an unprecedented, great expedition spanning light-years officially began!

On the bridge of the expedition, Lu Chen was calmly watching the rapidly receding, distorted, and colorful curvature space outside the window.

There was not a trace of tension or excitement on his face about going to explore an unknown world, only a sense of ease, as if everything were under his control.

Standing beside him was that same calm, icy goddess, Su Qingying, and those one hundred members of the Superman Legion who had long since been reborn.

They would serve as the first true interstellar explorers in human history to personally measure that vast, endless universe.

Time passed, minute by minute, during that monotonous, boring, and even somewhat oppressive curvature flight.

One year, two years, ten years, a hundred years!

When that damned countdown, filled with the aura of death, had less than three hundred years remaining, this lonely fleet, carrying all the hopes of the entire human civilization, finally arrived at the edge of the dark forest, full of unknowns and dangers—the Orion Arm!

"Report, Commander Lu!" On the flagship of the "Jiuzhou" fleet, the "Jing", "Zhanlang" looked at the massive holographic star map in front of him, a flash of solemnity crossing his iron-blooded, fierce tiger-like eyes.

"Our over-the-horizon quantum radar has detected something in the orbit of a red giant three hundred light-years ahead! We have detected... an extremely faint, regular, non-naturally formed... electromagnetic signal!"

Boom!!! This sentence was like a black lightning bolt capable of splitting the entire Milky Way Galaxy, striking the very skulls of all the Super Soldiers present, who had been driven nearly mad by the endless loneliness and solitude.

They were completely electrified!

"Holy crap! Are there really aliens?!"

"Hahahaha! Great! This is just great! I've been waiting for this forever!"

"Commander Lu! Give the order! Let's screw them!"

All the warriors, already eager and impatient, upon learning they were about to face their first "interstellar combat" in life, were all pumped up. Their eyes were bloodshot, their breathing rapid, and they roared crazily, wishing they could rush over right now and pin that reckless "alien friend" to the ground and crush them.

However, Lu Chen slowly shook his head.

He looked at the extremely faint distress signal on the light screen, which seemed like it could be interrupted at any moment, and a trace of complexity and pity flashed in his pitch-black eyes, as vast as the universe.

"No. They are not enemies. They are... survivors calling for help."

"Huh?!" All the Super Soldiers were stunned.

"Survivors?!" "Commander Lu, what do you mean by that?!"

"It means..." A mysterious and subversive smile curled at the corners of Lu Chen's mouth. "It seems our 'hunting' mission this time... is much more interesting than we imagined."

Just as he finished speaking, he slowly raised his hand and snapped his fingers into the air.

"heavenly craft. Send a 'care package' to those poor 'little friends' of ours who are about to be 'cleaned up' by the 'cleaner'."

[Yes, Master.]

Meanwhile, three hundred light-years away from the "Jiuzhou" fleet, around a massive red giant approaching the end of its life, a one-sided interstellar massacre, filled with despair and the aura of destruction, was frantically unfolding.

A pitch-black, terrifying cluster of nanobots, resembling a tidal wave capable of swallowing all light, was devouring a beautiful, azure planet full of life and hope with a world-destroying, terrifying posture.

And in the orbit of that planet, tens of thousands of peculiar spaceships, full of artistic and elegant flair and composed entirely of an unknown white feather material, were being besieged by an endless army of black locusts, darting left and right, struggling to hold on.

They were the indigenous inhabitants of this star system—the "Winged People" civilization, a peak second-level civilization that loved peace and art.

However, in the face of the terrifying "cleaner" that could make any Third-level civilization tremble with fear, their art and peace, which they were so proud of, were fragile and vulnerable.

They couldn't even put up the slightest bit of resistance, able only to watch helplessly as their home was devoured bit by bit, and their compatriots were erased one by one.

"No!!!" On the flagship of the "Winged People" civilization, the "Holy Light", a beautiful queen, resembling an angel with a pair of huge white wings, looked at the terrifying apocalyptic scene on the screen and let out a desperate, shrill roar that didn't sound human.

She knew. She and her civilization were finished. Completely finished.

However, just as she was about to issue the final, tragic, and resolute order of "mutual destruction", a terrifying hum, enough to make the entire star system tremble, suddenly rang out behind her without warning.

She and all the "Winged People" turned their heads abruptly as if they had seen a ghost, and the next second, their breathing stopped at that moment.

They saw it! They saw it with their own eyes! Behind them, in that pitch-black, deathly silent, desperate void of the universe, ten terrifying space rifts, filled with ferocity and dominance, like huge black swords, were torn open abruptly by an irresistible, tremendous force without any warning.

Immediately after, ten massive, epic interstellar war fortresses, each over five kilometers long, crafted entirely from an unknown black alloy and filled with the ultimate aura of war and destruction, appeared silently before them like ten ancient demon gods descending from another dimension.

And at the very front of those ten black demon gods, a clear voice, filled with sanctity and majesty, echoed clearly through the universal language of the universe in the minds of every "Winged People" who had been completely terrified.

"Hello. Do you need any help?"
