333: Lu Chen's decision: To "hide" our universe!

"Raising Gu?"

Ye Qingcang stared at the holographic star map, his brows furrowed into a tight knot.

On the screen, countless colored bubbles representing independent universes were being pushed by an invisible, colossal force, squeezing frantically toward the center.

As soon as some bubbles touched, they were swallowed by larger ones.

Others resulted in mutual destruction, instantly exploding into a sky full of fireworks.

"These Supervisors want all civilizations to kill each other, eventually choosing the strongest 'Gu King'?"

Ye Qingcang slammed the table hard. "Treating quadrillions of lives like fighting crickets? These animals!"

"It's more than just fighting crickets."

Su Qingying's fingers flew across the keyboard, her face pale.

"This is to reclaim computing power."

"There are too many universes; the server can't handle it."

"They want to use this method to clear out 99% of 'low-value processes,' keeping only that 1% of essence."

"And we..."

Su Qingying took a deep breath and pointed at Universe No. 9832, which was being surrounded by three giant bubbles.

"Are that 'low-value process' about to be cleared."

"According to the current fusion speed, our universe barrier will shatter in three days."

"When that time comes, Earth will directly face a siege from three Level 5 civilizations."

A dead end.

A complete and utter dead end.

The main force was in the high-dimensional battlefield, and the home base only had basic defensive forces.

Facing three Level 5 civilizations?

That was no different from poking a tank with a fire poker.

"Let's retreat, Commander Lu."

Zhao Feng's voice was raspy. "While the passage is still open, move as many people from Earth as possible. Save whoever we can."

"Move?"

Lu Chen, who had been silent, suddenly let out a laugh.

He sat in the commander's chair, still playing with that silver '001' eyeball in his hand.

Hearing Zhao Feng's words, he looked up, his eyes reflecting a heart-palpitating madness.

"If our home is gone, are we moving up here to be vagrants?"

"Then what do we do?" Ye Qingcang grew anxious. "We can't just watch Earth be swallowed, can we?"

"Who said it's going to be swallowed?"

Lu Chen stood up and walked to the massive star map.

He extended a finger and lightly tapped the small bubble representing Universe No. 9832.

"Since they want to herd all the fish into one pond."

The corner of Lu Chen's mouth curled into an extremely cunning arc.

"Then we'll just..."

"Jump out of this pond."

"Jump out?" Everyone was stunned.

"001."

Lu Chen called out to the eyeball in his hand.

"Present, Administrator."

001's emotionless synthesized voice rang out, but upon closer listening, it actually carried a hint of fear for what was about to happen.

"Open the 'Low-Level File Manager' for me."

"Target location: Universe No. 9832."

"Instruction received... Location confirmed."

Buzz—!

The holographic screen shifted.

It was no longer a grand star map, but had turned into rows of flowing golden code composed of the most primitive rules.

Every line of code represented a universe's physical constants and space-time coordinates.

"Look."

Lu Chen pointed at one of the lines of code.

"This is what we look like in the eyes of the Supervisors."

"A folder, a code name."

"They want to conduct a Great Purge; essentially, they're running a 'Merge Folders' batch program."

"As long as our attribute is still 'Visible'..."

"We will never escape this battle royale."

Su Qingying was also a top scientist and instantly understood Lu Chen's meaning.

Her pupils constricted suddenly, and her breathing quickened.

"Lu Chen, you want to..."

"Exactly."

Lu Chen grinned, revealing a row of snowy white teeth.

"I'm going to..."

"Change an attribute for our universe."

"001! Do it!"

"Permission invocation: pangu!"

"Target attribute: [Hidden]!"

"Execute!!!"

Boom—!!!

With Lu Chen's roar, the 'Source' character rune on his forehead erupted with an extremely brilliant golden light!

This power followed 001's connection, instantly crossing dimensions and reaching the core of the Multiverse's bottom-level logic!

[Warning! Illegal attribute modification detected!]

[Warning! Permission conflict!]

[Detected Highest Administrator signature... pangu.]

[Modification... Approved.]

In that instant.

A scene occurred on the holographic star map that everyone would never forget for the rest of their lives.

Universe No. 9832, which was originally at the center of the storm and about to be crushed by the three giant bubbles... suddenly "flickered."

Then.

Right before everyone's eyes.

It vanished into thin air.

It wasn't destroyed.

Nor was it moved.

Like an invisible person, it remained in place, but all detection radars, all Causality chains, and even the collision trajectories of those three bubbles... passed right through it!

It was as if it had become a ghost!

"This... this is..."

Ye Qingcang's mouth hung open, and the blade in his hand dropped to the floor.

"Stealth... on a physical level?"

"No."

Lu Chen wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, his face pale from exhaustion, but his eyes were frighteningly bright.

"This is 'Invisibility' at the rule level."

"In the Supervisor's system, Universe No. 9832 no longer 'exists'."

"Since it doesn't exist, it naturally doesn't need to participate in any battle royale."

"Let them fight."

"We..."

Lu Chen pulled a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, and took a deep breath.

"We'll sit on the sidelines, eat melon seeds, and watch the show."

"And while we're at it..."

Lu Chen pointed at the three unlucky Level 5 civilizations on the star map that had missed their target and were crashing into each other due to inertia.

"Pick up some scraps."

"Brilliant! Truly brilliant!"

Wang Peng (Fatty) slapped his thigh in excitement. "This move of 'Your friend is offline due to a system error' is simply ingenious!"

"But..." Although Su Qingying was excited, she remained rational. "This way, we've completely lost contact with our home base. What about supplies?"

"Lost contact?"

Lu Chen blew out a smoke ring and smiled mysteriously.

He raised his hand; in his palm, a golden line as thin as silk was still connected to the depths of the void.

"How could it be lost?"

"I just bricked up the main gate."

"But I left a 'dog hole'."

"That's a VIP passage specifically for our own people."

The crisis was averted.

In the previously oppressive command room, cheers of survival instantly erupted.

But Lu Chen didn't smile.

He turned and looked out the window at the even more chaotic high-dimensional battlefield where the flames of war raged even more fiercely.

"The home base is safe."

Lu Chen stubbed out his cigarette, the expression in his eyes gradually becoming cold and bloodthirsty.

"The worries about the rear are gone."

"So next..."

He looked at Ye Qingcang, then at the thousand Divine Mechanism Guards behind him, ready to go.

"Shouldn't we have a good talk with that high-and-mighty 'Executor'..."

"About this 'mental distress fee'?"

Ye Qingcang picked up his blade again and grinned, brimming with killing intent.

"Commander Lu, how do you want to settle it?"

Lu Chen straightened his trench coat and strode toward the 'Xingtian' mecha parked outside.

"How to settle it?"

"Naturally..."

"Go to his nest."

"And pull his 'server'..."

"Out by the roots!"
