315: Lu Chen's domineering response: You want to format us? Try it!
The spaceport outside Lingxiao Hall.
The golden battleship that had been beaten into a plucked chicken had now been "violently" repaired by the Earth Federation's engineering robots.
Why call it violent?
Because the originally streamlined, divine hull was now welded full of rugged black armor plates, and even had several massive "dragon gall" auxiliary cannons hanging from it.
It looked like a gentleman in a tuxedo forced into a patched-up military overcoat, with a butcher knife shoved into his hand.
"This... this is sacrilege! This is an insult to the art of the Divine Realm!"
Inside the cockpit, the octopus codenamed "Judgement 13" watched its beloved ship turn into this state, its tentacles twitching.
"Shut up. Any more nonsense and I'll roast you."
Lu Chen slapped the octopus on its forehead (assuming that was a forehead) and sat down in the co-pilot's seat with a swagger.
He held a thermos in his hand with wolfberries soaking inside, looking completely at ease.
"This is called 'Wasteland Punk Style.' Do you even understand aesthetics?"
The octopus shrunk into a ball aggrievedly, angry but not daring to speak out.
At this moment, the battleship's cargo hold was packed with "cargo."
It wasn't gold, silver, or treasures, nor was it conventional bombs.
It was exactly one thousand hibernation pods.
Lying inside were the Earth Federation's top warriors and... all of its high-ranking officials.
Ye Qingcang, Long Weiguo, Wang Peng, Su Qingying... this was a true all-in.
If they won, they'd have young models at a club—(strike that)—if they won, their civilization would ascend.
If they lost, everyone would turn back into single-celled organisms together; no one could call the other ugly then.
"All data checks complete."
Su Qingying's voice came through the communication channel, as calm as if she were conducting a common physics experiment.
"The 'pangu archive' logic locks have been loaded into everyone's deep consciousness."
"Once we enter Asgard's main network, these logic locks will automatically decompress."
"Lu Chen, are you sure that so-called 'Purification Council' will receive us?"
Lu Chen blew on the steam from his thermos, a mischievous smirk curling on his lips.
"Don't worry."
"For those high-and-mighty gods, nothing satisfies their vanity more than watching a swarm of ants kneel and beg for mercy."
He turned to look at the octopus.
"Hey, mollusk."
"Send a signal to your masters."
The octopus blanked: "Send... send what?"
"Say that the 'error code' from Universe 9832 is scared."
Lu Chen set down his cup, his gaze instantly becoming as sharp as a blade.
"Say I'm willing to bring all core data and proactively head to Asgard to accept... 'formatting'."
The octopus tremblingly extended a tentacle and typed a string of complex runes onto the control panel.
"It's... it's been sent."
"And the reply?"
"Instant reply." The octopus looked at the screen, its tone complicated. "The Council has approved it. And... they've opened temporary access to the 'Bifrost'."
"See, I told you."
Lu Chen spread his hands with an "I knew it all along" expression.
"Gods, they're always arrogant."
"They think I'm a sheep going to surrender."
"Little do they know..."
Lu Chen suddenly stood up. The aura that erupted in that instant caused the temperature in the entire cockpit to plummet to freezing point.
"I'm going there to bury them!"
"All personnel, prepare!"
Lu Chen's voice boomed through the quantum network into the thousand hibernation pods.
"This is not a drill."
"This is an armed invasion... disguised as a surrender!"
"We only have one thing to do."
"Go in, and drag every single one of those bastards sitting on their divine thrones down!"
"Even if you have to use your teeth, bite a chunk of flesh off them!"
"Understood?!"
"Understood!!!"
In the communication channel, a thousand voices converged into a thunderclap of vengeance.
"Very good."
Lu Chen sat back in his chair and propped his feet up on the console.
"Drive... no, sail!"
The octopus shiveringly started the engine.
Buzz—!!!
The golden battleship, modified beyond recognition, ejected deep-blue light-flames from its rear, charging like an ominous meteor toward the "Bifrost" leading to the higher-dimensional world.
Just as the battleship was about to vanish into the light gate.
Lu Chen suddenly remembered something.
"Wait."
"What's wrong?" The octopus jerked in fear, thinking this fiend was going to back out.
"Almost forgot something."
Lu Chen opened the public communication channel, which was a direct line to the Purification Council.
At that moment, in that pure white Higher-dimensional Space.
Twelve figures of light sat high on divine thrones, coldly watching the approaching "surrender ship."
Suddenly.
Lu Chen's extremely punchable and incredibly arrogant voice came through the hall's speakers.
"Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?"
"Big shots of whatever Council, it's Lu Chen here."
"I heard you want to format us?"
The twelve figures of light moved slightly, seemingly displeased by this disrespectful way of greeting.
"Ignorant bug, it is too late to beg for mercy now..." The leading voice was about to pronounce judgment.
But was directly interrupted by Lu Chen.
"No, no, no, you've misunderstood."
Lu Chen's voice was thick with mockery.
"I sent this message not to beg for mercy."
"I just wanted to give you a heads-up."
"This ship isn't loaded with bombs, nor is it loaded with nukes."
"But..."
Lu Chen paused. Across countless dimensions, one could almost see the ferocious smile on his face at this moment.
"What's inside are a thousand 'death row inmates' more stubborn than any virus."
"Since you want to roll back our timeline."
"Then you'd better be prepared."
"Because we're a bunch of people with very bad tempers."
"If we end up dismantling your 'Asgard' or burning your servers..."
"We. Are. Not. Responsible!"
Beep—!
Communication cut.
Without giving the other side any time to react.
The patched-up battleship, carrying a resolve that knew no retreat, plunged headlong into the brilliant rainbow gate of light!
...Asgard, Council Hall.
Dead silence.
The twelve figures of light looked at each other.
How many eons had it been?
How many civilizations had trembled and wept in the face of "formatting"?
This was the first time someone dared to point at their noses and say they were going to dismantle their home.
"Arrogant."
The leading figure of light snorted coldly, and the laws of the entire Higher-dimensional Space vibrated with it.
"Since he is in such a hurry to find death."
"Then have the 'Inquisition' prepare."
"The moment this ship lands."
"No need for interrogation."
"Direct... physical destruction."
However, what he didn't know was.
Deep in the cargo hold of this ship.
Wang Peng (Fatty), lying in his hibernation pod, had his eyes closed, but the corners of his mouth were curling up wildly.
In his arms, he tightly clutched a black metal box.
That was the "local specialty" Lu Chen had specifically told him to bring.
And on that box was a crooked sticky note with a line of words written on it:
**"A meeting gift for the gods—'Square Dance' speakers from Earth (comes with a full set of brainwashing hit songs)."**
