134: Chapter 135 is not bad, they're still alive.

"Take me to see it."

As soon as Jiang Feng spoke, Granny Gu immediately arranged for people to prepare a boat.

Little Queen Jin Xi grabbed the corner of Jiang Feng's robe, lifted her small face, and whispered: "Heavenly God, the Holy Tower is on the island at the far east."

Jiang Feng looked down at her.

"You're going too?"

Little Queen Jin Xi nodded.

"I am the king of the Black Turtle Tribe. Since it concerns the Holy Tower, I must go."

Jiang Feng felt somewhat helpless.

"With your little arms and legs, if you fell into the sea, the fish wouldn't even consider you enough to get stuck in their teeth, yet you have quite the sense of responsibility as a king."

Little Queen Jin Xi was stunned for a moment, not understanding what "stuck in their teeth" meant.

Granny Gu, however, was startled and hurriedly bowed.

"Heavenly God, the king is still young. If she has offended you in any way..."

"Alright, I was just teasing her."

Jiang Feng waved his hand.

Hearing this, Little Queen Jin Xi secretly relaxed her furrowed brows.

Although she could see now, she had just regained her sight and her walking was still a bit unsteady. After taking only two steps, she stepped on her overly long robe hem and lunged forward.

Jiang Feng casually grabbed her by the back of her collar and hoisted her up.

Little Queen Jin Xi's two small feet dangled in the air, and her face turned red instantly.

"Heavenly God... I can walk on my own."

"Are you sure?"

Jiang Feng put her down, and the next moment, Little Queen Jin Xi nearly stumbled again.

Jiang Feng sighed, bent down to pick her up, and placed her on his shoulder.

"Stop trying to be tough, little queen."

Little Queen Jin Xi's body was tense, her hands were placed properly in front of her, and she even lightened her breathing.

The Black Turtle tribespeople kneeling outside the hall saw this scene, and everyone was so excited they nearly cried.

"The Heavenly God has picked up the king!"

"With the Heavenly God protecting the king, the Black Turtle Tribe is saved!"

Jiang Feng couldn't help but smile bitterly as he listened; these people really knew how to overthink. He was just afraid this little girl would trip on flat ground and die, but in their words, it immediately became a divine miracle.

Granny Gu led the way, and the group passed through the tribe and arrived at the seaside.

Several large boats made of giant wood and turtle shells were already docked at the shore.

The Black Turtle Tribe lived off the sea, and their shipbuilding skills were quite good; the hulls were wide and thick, making them very stable in the water.

Jiang Feng carried Little Queen Jin Xi onto the boat, and Granny Gu and several tribe Elders followed.

On the way, Jiang Feng looked at the surrounding islands. They were called islands, but now only a few zhang of land remained. In some places, one could still see collapsed stone houses, with half-submerged walls; when the waves rolled in, they revealed the rotten wooden beams inside.

Jiang Feng pointed to a stretch of water in the distance where only the treetops remained.

"Was that also a place where you used to live?"

Granny Gu bowed, her voice bitter.

"Reporting to the Heavenly God, those were all outer islands before."

"Forty years ago, there were hundreds of tribespeople there. Later, the seawater rose year by year, the houses collapsed, and after the last major earthquake, half of the entire island sank, so the survivors moved to the central island."

Jiang Feng didn't respond. He was no Saint.

But looking at these houses submerged in the sea, looking at the places swallowed by the seawater, he felt somewhat uncomfortable.

This feeling wasn't enough to make his blood boil and make him shout, "I have come to save you."

But at least, it made him unable to treat these people like random strangers on the side of the road.

The boat sailed for a little less than an hour.

On the sea surface ahead, a small island appeared.

It was called an island, but it could no longer be considered a complete island; the seawater had flooded most of the land, leaving only a circle of black rocks in the middle exposed.

In the center of the rocks, a Seven-Story Stone Pagoda stood there.

But the bottom two stories of the pagoda were completely soaked in seawater.

The third story was close to the sea surface, and as soon as the waves hit, the spray splashed directly onto the pagoda.

Only the top four stories were barely exposed.

Jiang Feng stood at the bow, his brows furrowed.

"Is this your Holy Tower?"

Granny Gu lowered her head. "Yes."

Jiang Feng stared at the pagoda for a while.

The style of the Holy Tower was similar to the one in the Chilian Tribe.

It's just that the Chilian Holy Tower stood on the ground, while this Black Turtle Holy Tower, on the other hand, had been swallowed by the sea.

To get to the top of the tower, one had to enter through the door on the first floor and then fight through the guards story by story to get up.

But now the first floor was at the bottom of the sea.

Jiang Feng turned to look at Granny Gu. "Haven't you sent anyone to dive down?"

Granny Gu answered hurriedly: "We have."

A female warrior with a scarred face stood out from the side. She had a sturdy build and carried a bone fork on her back.

"Heavenly God, I have gone down three times."

"Tell me about it."

The female warrior swallowed her saliva.

"There is a door under the Holy Tower, but the door is covered by black mud and stones, and we cannot dig it open. Furthermore, the closer you get to the Holy Tower, the heavier the seawater becomes, pulling people down relentlessly. Ordinary tribespeople who go down will pass out in less than ten breaths."

Jiang Feng raised an eyebrow. "How long did you last?"

"Twenty breaths." The female warrior lowered her head, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"The third time, I tried to touch the crack of the door, but just as I touched the stone door, my chest felt like it had been hit by a hammer. If my companion hadn't pulled me, I would have died down there."

Jiang Feng glanced at her. This woman's Physical Body was not weak; in the Chilian Tribe, she could at least pass for a Black Cloud Guard. Even she could only hold on for twenty breaths, which meant there was indeed something strange beneath this Holy Tower.

Jiang Feng handed Little Queen Jin Xi to Granny Gu. "Hold her well."

Granny Gu hurriedly caught her.

"Heavenly God, are you going down?"

"Otherwise what? Stand here and beg the seawater to recede on its own?" Jiang Feng loosened his wrists.

Granny Gu hurriedly spoke: "Heavenly God, please be careful. There is a Restriction under the Holy Tower. All previous kings have said that those not recognized by the Black Turtle cannot force their way in."

Jiang Feng turned back to look at her. "Then why did you call me here? To treat me to sea breezes?"

Granny Gu was choked speechless.

Little Queen Jin Xi whispered: "Heavenly God, how about... I go down with you? I am the king, perhaps the Holy Tower won't hurt me."

Jiang Feng reached out and flicked her forehead.

"You go down? If you go down, I'll have to fish you out; you're just causing me trouble."

Little Queen Jin Xi covered her forehead, not daring to make a sound.

The next second, Jiang Feng dove into the sea. Splash! The seawater instantly submerged his head.

As soon as he dove down, Jiang Feng felt something was wrong. The water pressure was immense, much heavier than normal seawater.

He swam down ten zhang, and a sense of oppression came from his chest.

Further down, the current began to wrap around his limbs, pulling him down incessantly.

Jiang Feng activated the Small Golden Body Art, and the Xuanhuang Qi inside his body began to circulate.

A faint golden glow appeared on his skin, and the pressure around him immediately lessened a lot.

He continued downwards. Soon, he saw the shadow of the first floor of the Holy Tower.

The tower gate was indeed buried.

The seabed was full of silt and broken stones, blocking the entrance tightly.

Jiang Feng swam to the door and reached out to press on the stone door. Hum! A force suddenly bounced out from the stone door.

Jiang Feng's arm went numb, and he was pushed back several zhang.

"Interesting."

He pressed back against it, inserted his five fingers into the gaps of the giant stones blocking the door, and exerted force suddenly.

Crack! A stone half a person's height was forcibly pulled out by him.

But as soon as the stone was moved away, the surrounding silt immediately surged over and filled the gap.

Jiang Feng pulled out a few more, but the result was the same.

The silt on the seabed would backfill itself; the more he dug, the more there was.

After a dozen breaths, Jiang Feng rushed out of the sea and landed back on the boat.

Granny Gu and the others immediately surrounded him.

"Heavenly God, how is it?"

Jiang Feng shook the water from his hair, his expression not looking very good.

"Not good."

Granny Gu's heart sank.

Jiang Feng pointed at the Holy Tower.

"The door can be seen, but it is blocked by the silt on the seabed. The stones can be moved, but the silt will fill it back up on its own."

The female warrior said hurriedly: "Right! That's how it was for us too; no matter how we dug, it was useless!"

Jiang Feng looked at the sea, his brain turning rapidly; to enter the tower, he had to expose the first floor.

As long as the sea level dropped, the silt would naturally loosen, and the entrance could be opened.

The problem was, this was Yunmeng Marsh; there was no spiritual power, and no Spells.

In the Spirit Realm, one could drain a lake with one palm, but here, one could only rely on fists and the Physical Body.

Make the sea recede?

This task sounded absurd.

Jiang Feng rubbed his brow.

"In all these years, hasn't your Black Turtle Tribe thought of building a dam to block the water?"

Granny Gu smiled bitterly.

"We did. Thirty years ago, the tribespeople spent five years surrounding the Holy Tower island. But after a major earthquake, the dam collapsed, and dozens of people died."

"What about pumping the water?"

"We tried."

"What about digging canals?"

"We also tried."

"What about moving the island?"

Granny Gu was stunned.

"Move... move the island?"

Jiang Feng waved his hand.

"Forget it, consider it unasked."

If these people had the ability to move an island, they wouldn't have ended up like this.

Little Queen Jin Xi stood to the side, her small hand tugging at the corner of her robe, her eyes, which had just regained sight, full of nervousness. She really wanted to speak, but was afraid of disturbing Jiang Feng. In the end, she couldn't help it.

"Heavenly God, is it... that even you have no way?"

Jiang Feng looked at her. "I didn't say it was impossible."

Little Queen Jin Xi immediately held back the tears that were about to fall.

Jiang Feng found it a bit funny. This little girl was quite obedient.

Laughing was one thing, but the problem was still right in front of him.

In Yunmeng Marsh, one cannot use spiritual power; relying solely on the Physical Body to make the seawater recede was simply ridiculous.

Just when he was troubled, a lazy voice suddenly came from the depths of his Sea of Consciousness.

"Not bad, still alive."
