201: Elf Queen: Please bear with it for a while!

"Everyone, rise."

The Elf Queen's voice resounded again, a hint of allure in her languor, as if possessing a magical power that could melt one's bones.

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

Upon hearing this, the four women finally dared to stand up from the ground, but kept their heads bowed, not daring to look directly into the depths of the palace.

"Irina."

The Elf Queen's gaze seemed to pierce through layers of mist, landing precisely on the golden-haired guard captain.

"I ask you, if that human truly reclaims all three territories within three days, what do you intend to do?"

"This... this is absolutely impossible!"

Irina blurted out without thinking, her tone firm and decisive.

"Nothing is impossible."

The Elf Queen chuckled, her laughter echoing in the empty palace.

"I, on the other hand, find that human very interesting. Perhaps he truly can bring us some unexpected surprises?"

"Oh, and Irina."

The Elf Queen seemed to suddenly remember something, changing the subject with a teasing tone.

"I recall that among our Forest Elves, the High Elves who still maintain their 'purity' are... not many, are they?"

She paused deliberately, seemingly giving Irina time to react.

"Counting you and those nine young girls under you, all told, isn't it exactly ten?"

"You said if that human truly completes the mission and specifically requests ten, as their captain, wouldn't you have to lead your guard squad to 'attend to' him?"

"At that time, the ten of you must 'serve' him well, and absolutely not disgrace our Forest Elves."

The Elf Queen's sudden "wolfish words" made Irina's proud and beautiful face flush crimson to her ears.

"Your Majesty! You... you stop joking!"

"I'm joking?" The Elf Queen's laughter grew more playful, "I don't have time for jokes. I also heard that human is quite handsome."

"Irina, you've been single for hundreds of years. It's time you found a man and experienced what it's like to be a woman. Look at you, you have such a good figure, and those long legs that even I envy, it would be such a waste to let them go to waste."

"How about this then."

The Elf Queen pondered for a moment, then announced in an undeniable tone, "I'll add another wager."

"If that human truly completes the mission, then I will personally decide to betroth you to him."

"At that time, whether the two of you want to 'deeply communicate' or 'explore the origin of life,' it will be entirely up to you."

Boom—!!

The Elf Queen's words, like a bolt from the blue, exploded in the minds of Irina and the three Elf Elders.

To betroth Irina to that lowly human?!

Her Majesty isn't joking, is she?!

"Your Majesty! Absolutely not!"

The three Elf Elders' expressions changed drastically, and they quickly stepped forward to dissuade her.

"Irina is a rare genius among our Forest Elves, seen only once in a century! She is your most powerful successor to the next Elf Queen! Her bloodline is so noble!"

"How can she, how can she be betrothed to an unknown, lowly human?!"

"That's right, Your Majesty! If this gets out, what about the dignity of our Forest Elves?!"

The three Elders spoke one after another, their emotions reaching an extreme.

However, the Elf Queen on the throne merely chuckled indifferently.

"Dignity? How much is dignity worth?"

"Now that the survival of our Forest Elves is even an issue, are you still concerned about that ridiculous dignity?"

Her voice suddenly turned cold, and an invisible pressure spread out.

"Besides, that human is not some 'lowly human.' To be able to subdue a Overlord Interstellar Hunter as a summoned creature, and to accumulate enough merits to make all of you envious in less than a day. Do you think he would be an ordinary human?"

The Elf Queen's words instantly left the three Elders speechless.

Yes, although that fellow was arrogant and shameless, his strength was genuinely terrifyingly powerful.

"But... but..."

Irina's face showed struggle and resistance.

Marrying a man she had only known for less than a day, who had also "humiliated" her in every way?

She couldn't do it!

"There are no 'buts.'"

"Irina, I know you are proud and look down on that human. But I am doing this for your own good."

"Although our Elven race has a long lifespan, it is not endless. You have been single for hundreds of years; if this continues, I fear you will truly become an unwanted old maid."

"Although that human is a bit young, both his strength and potential are top-notch. Most importantly, his 'genes' are very powerful."

When the Elf Queen said this, her languid and charming voice carried a strange glint.

"If you can combine with him, the bloodline talent of your descendants will definitely surpass any genius we've had before. This is a great thing for our entire Forest Elves."

"So, Irina, just 'suffer a little' for us."

Irina's heart was a mix of emotions.

Her Majesty said everything for her own good, for the good of the entire clan, but... "Your Majesty, you don't need to say anymore."

Irina took a deep breath, an incredibly firm light flashing in her golden eyes.

"That guy absolutely cannot complete that mission within three days!"

She raised her head, proudly meeting the gaze into the depths of the palace, her voice clear and confident.

"Blackwood Cliff is strategically located, and its defenses are impregnable. The leader of the Fallen Elves entrenched there has strength far exceeding ordinary Second Transition powerhouses! To break through it, at least five thousand elite troops and three or more Second Transition masters working together would be needed!"

"And Moonlight Forest has been managed by the Fallen Elves for over a hundred years, filled with numerous mechanisms and traps everywhere. Guarding it are three Second Transition Fallen Elves Elders, all level sixty, each proficient in the most vicious curses and assassination techniques. Even a Second Transition player of the same level entering would face a near-certain death."

"As for the final Wind Whisper River Valley..."

When Irina said this, a disdainful sneer appeared at the corner of her mouth.

"That place is the main base of the Fallen Elves in this area! Guarding it are the eight most powerful Second Transition commanders of the Fallen Elves! The leader among them has even reached level seventy-nine, with one foot already stepping into the threshold of Third Transition!"

"That arrogant human, with his three women who are also not yet Second Transition, wants to challenge them?"

"It's simply a pipe dream!"

"I guarantee, he probably hasn't even touched the foot of Blackwood Cliff yet!"
