181: Chapter 211 Subduing a Griffin as a Mount

Medusa's voice grew increasingly high-pitched and impassioned, and the light of the magic circle became ever more intense.

The light surged like a tide, completely enveloping Jiang Ling and Alicia.

Deep within this radiance, mysterious runes flew out from the magic circle, like agile birds, rapidly sinking into the foreheads of Jiang Ling and Alicia.

A flash of dazzling light swept across their foreheads, as if an indelible mark had been branded upon them.

As the light gradually receded and the magic circle slowly faded, an invisible bond seemed to connect Jiang Ling and Alicia—the symbol of the master-servant contract.

The entire space returned to tranquility, as if the shocking magical scene just now were merely an illusory dream, but a close connection had already been established between Jiang Ling and Alicia.

Alicia was now sitting on the ground, completely exhausted; her entire life would henceforth be as Jiang Ling's servant.

To say she didn't regret it in her heart would be a lie, but it was too late for regrets now.

Perhaps she should think about it from another perspective; at least she was still alive.

If she had died, then everything would be gone, and there wouldn't even be the chance to regret.

She turned her gaze to Medusa and asked, "Are you truly the legendary deity Medusa?"

"Indeed!"

Medusa said proudly, "I am indeed the deity Medusa. It was by chance that I signed a contract with the Master."

"At the beginning, I was indeed very resistant to this contract, but now I feel that this may also be an Opportunity for me."

"The Master's strength is beyond your comprehension; he might lead me to step back to the Peak one day."

...

"Mm!"

Alicia nodded, saying nothing more.

Now that Jiang Ling could know all of her emotions and thoughts, she didn't need to hypocritically express her loyalty to him.

"Let's go!"

Jiang Ling said with a smile, "We have already fallen far behind the others."

"We must make up for it as soon as possible."

Thus, the three of them set off again.

"Master, I can fly. Should I take you with me? That way, our speed will be faster!"

Alicia said at this moment.

"Alright!"

Jiang Ling nodded; being able to fly was, of course, the best option.

Medusa turned back into a small snake and coiled around Jiang Ling's neck.

Alicia grabbed Jiang Ling's arms, then a burst of flames erupted from her body as she shot into the sky, flying toward the distance.

In this Underwater Secret Realm, there were treasures in many places, but the place with the most treasures was undoubtedly that ancient city.

That ancient city could not be ordinary to have been established here; it was very likely once a Holy Land for powerful Cultivators.

In the past, Jiang Ling would have thought that those myths and legends about cultivation were fake, but after the last Kunlun Void Secret Realm, he believed that all of these were real.

Because he had truly experienced the power of that person; just one sermon had allowed him to be reborn.

Flying in the sky, Jiang Ling could overlook the scenery within this Secret Realm.

It had to be said that the scenery in this Secret Realm was truly magnificent.

Although not as majestic as the Kunlun Void Secret Realm, it had its own unique charm.

Countless Ability Users and Martial Artists on the ground were sprinting toward the city, but it was inevitable that they would encounter many difficulties and obstacles on the ground, and their speed would be much slower.

They would occasionally look up at Alicia flying in the sky, with looks of envy in their eyes.

Just as they were flying, suddenly, a behemoth flew over in the sky and launched an attack at Alicia.

"It's a Griffin!"

Medusa said at this moment, holding her head high.

"It's also a Tier 7 Vicious Beast, just like the Two-Headed Chimera!"

"Master, do you want a mount?"

"A mount? You mean... subduing this Griffin as a mount?" Jiang Ling was stunned.

"Indeed!" Medusa said, "In our Divine Realm, Griffins are just common mounts!"

"But here, it is a powerful Vicious Beast!"

"With Alicia and me working together, we can easily subdue it."

"Alright!" Jiang Ling's eyes immediately lit up.

Being dragged along in flight by Alicia was always somewhat inconvenient; it would be much better if he could have a flying mount.

"Alicia, let's subdue this Griffin together."

Medusa said to Alicia.

"Alright!"

Alicia nodded.

The first step in subduing a Griffin was to give it a good beating.

Only by beating it into submission could they talk about the next step of taming.

Jiang Ling couldn't really help at this moment, so he was dropped to the ground by Alicia.

Medusa coiled around Alicia's body, attacking the Griffin together with her.

Seeing the Griffin swooping in, Alicia was surrounded by flames; she waved her hands, and the flames danced at her fingertips as if they had a life of their own.

Medusa looked cold and stern, her snake hair dancing in the wind, her snake tongue flicking in and out, as if waiting for the opportune moment to attack.

The Griffin spread its huge and powerful wings, let out a deafening roar, and launched the attack first.

It charged toward Medusa and Alicia with extreme speed, its sharp claws glinting with a cold light.

Medusa flashed, instantly dodging the Griffin's pounce.

At the same time, Alicia pushed her hands forward, and a huge fireball flew from her hands, smashing straight toward the Griffin.

The Griffin was hit by the fireball, its feathers instantly ignited, and it neighed in pain.

But the Griffin did not retreat; it flapped its burning wings and lunged at them again.

Medusa's snake hair instantly elongated, like countless tough ropes, tightly binding the Griffin's wings and claws.

The Griffin struggled desperately, trying to break free from the shackles of the snake hair.

Alicia took the Opportunity to launch another attack; she chanted, and the flames in her hands condensed into a fiery spear, which she thrust fiercely toward the Griffin.

The Griffin flapped its wings, trying to dodge, but it couldn't fully avoid it; it was grazed, letting out a shrill howl.

However, the Griffin still resisted tenaciously; with a forceful struggle, it broke free from part of the snake hair's restraints, opened its mouth, and spewed a powerful gust of air, attempting to blow Medusa and Alicia away.

Medusa and Alicia coordinated their attack; Medusa's eyes shot out a Petrification Ray, hitting the Griffin's leg and making its movements sluggish.

Alicia held her hands high, and a rain of fire instantly descended from the sky, smashing onto the Griffin.

This Tier 7 Griffin was quite strong, to begin with; if it were just Alicia alone dealing with it, she would inevitably have to fight a great battle, perhaps even paying a significant price.

But with Medusa attacking the Griffin together with her, the Griffin was completely unable to resist.

Medusa and Alicia coordinated tacitly, fiercely beating the Griffin, and the Griffin was soon overwhelmed.

The Griffin wanted to escape, but Medusa activated her petrification ability, slowing down the Griffin's movements.

Alicia took the Opportunity to launch a fireball, directly knocking the Griffin from the sky to the ground.
