Chapter 121 pass by

Chapter 121 pass by
There is some light in the narrow and long pipe, and there are small windows at intervals on the pipe. Looking out from the window, Zhang Cheng can see the laboratories one after another.

Some laboratories are conducting experiments, while others are empty.

Zhang Cheng asked Old Buck to enter the ventilation duct first and let him lead the way.

The laboratory is so big, it must save a lot of time to let Old Buck lead the way.

Turning and turning along the ventilation duct, Zhang Cheng has been walking forward on his stomach, his muscles are a little sore.

"It's almost here." Old Buck said in a low voice, and there seemed to be a big gap in the ventilation duct in front, and more light could obviously be seen shining in from the gap.

Zhang Cheng didn't have time to think about why Old Buck knew the path inside the ventilation duct.

Seeing that Old Buck climbed to the side of the gap and carefully looked down, Zhang Cheng was also very nervous.

There seemed to be no one below, and everything around was safe. Old Buck began to climb out of the ventilation duct along the gap.

The ventilation pipe was still a little high from the ground. Zhang Cheng was worried that Old Buck might not be able to bear it if he jumped directly from the pipe, so he grabbed Old Buck's hands and slowly put him down.

After Old Buck landed safely, Zhang Chengcai jumped down from the gap in the ventilation duct.

Looking around, Zhang Cheng found that this place seemed to be a warehouse, and there were many mechanical equipment piled up in the warehouse.

"These are scrapped or research equipment that have been eliminated by the laboratory, so generally few people will come here."

Zhang Cheng nodded to express his understanding: "Where are we going next? I think the core of the entire laboratory should be the spherical laboratory. Are we already in the spherical laboratory?"

Old Buck shook his head and denied: "The spherical laboratory is still early. It seems that we have been crawling in the ventilation duct for so long. In fact, a long distance is bent and folded. This is only the periphery of the laboratory."

"So is there any way for you to continue infiltrating?"

Old Buck was silent for a while, and said, "Come with me."

Old Buck tiptoed towards the door of the warehouse. The door of the warehouse was tightly closed. Old Buck put his ear on the door and listened carefully to what was going on outside.

With a click, Old Buck gently pushed the warehouse door open.

It was safe outside. Old Buck walked towards the corridor outside the warehouse, and Zhang Cheng followed behind Old Buck quietly.

Outside the warehouse is a clean corridor with white floor tiles, white ceilings, and white walls, as if the entire laboratory has this configuration.

Old Buck looked a little nervous. Although he kept walking forward, Zhang Cheng keenly saw that Old Buck's hands were shaking uncontrollably.

It seems that old Buck is not as sure as he said, Zhang Cheng carefully pays attention to whether there is any other movement around him.

There was no one in the empty corridor. There were laboratories on both sides of the corridor. The laboratories were all equipped with coded doors. Zhang Cheng could clearly see some scenes in the laboratories through the glass on the coded doors.

When passing by a laboratory again, a figure inside happened to be walking towards the door of the laboratory, as if about to leave the laboratory.

Zhang Cheng raised his heart all of a sudden, and when his brain was running wildly thinking about countermeasures, the old Buck in front suddenly pulled Zhang Cheng up to speed up, rushed to the front room in two or three steps, and opened the door to enter the room.

At this time, the door of the laboratory that Zhang Cheng and Old Buck had just passed opened, and an experimenter wearing a chemical protective suit and an oxygen mask walked out of the laboratory.

The experimenter looked back and forth at both ends of the corridor with some doubts, and then he walked slowly along the corridor, gradually standing still at the door of a room.

——It was the room where old Buck dragged Zhang Cheng into hiding.

There was a slight sound, and the door was gently pushed open.

After the experimenter pushed open the door, he happened to meet two experimenters who were also wearing chemical protective suits, masks, and sterile caps walking out of the room.

The two sides passed each other, and the experimenter looked into the room again with a somewhat hesitant look on his face, then gently closed the door and returned to the laboratory where he had just been.

……

"Huh! Old Buck, I really have you. Do you really know that there is a locker room? Have you been here before?"

The two experimenters wearing chemical protective suits and being completely covered were none other than Old Buck and Zhang Cheng.

Under this kind of dress, except for the body shape, the appearance is almost completely invisible, only a pair of eyes are exposed outside, and there was no suspicion when passing by the previous experimenter just now, which reassured Zhang Cheng and Old Buck. .

"I haven't stayed here, but the layout of this laboratory is almost the same."

Old Buck walked forward briskly. Due to the rush of time, the clothes he took in the dressing room didn't seem to fit very well—it was a bit small.

"Why don't you go back and get another one?" Zhang Cheng suggested.

Old Buck shook his head: "It's okay, it's easy to be suspicious when you go back, and there's no need to waste too much time."

The chemical protective suit that should have been loose was very tight on Old Buck. Old Buck was not very tall, mainly because his belly protruded a little, and it was a bit uncomfortable to be restrained by the chemical protective suit.

Leaving this experimental building through the safe passage, Old Buck walked towards the center of the entire experimental area.

Soon, the spherical laboratory appeared in the field of vision of Old Buck and Zhang Cheng.

Along the way, Zhang Cheng and Old Buck also met a lot of laboratory staff, but fortunately, they did not attract any attention, and finally arrived outside the spherical laboratory safely.

There is no guard at the gate of the spherical laboratory, but there is a password lock. Old Buck walked up to enter the password skillfully.

Old Buck had no intention of covering up, and Zhang Cheng clearly remembered Old Buck's actions of entering the password.

Old Buck's speed of entering the password was not slow, but under Zhang Cheng's delusion-shattering pupils, every time Old Buck's fingers landed on the keys, it was so clear.

The password door of the spherical laboratory opened with a click, and Zhang Cheng memorized the password, which may be used later.

He deceived many people along the way, which made Old Buck look a lot calmer now, at least his hands no longer shook as before.

Old Buck was obviously very familiar with the internal layout of the spherical laboratory, so he walked straight to the elevator.

There were not many people in the laboratory, and the elevator arrived soon. Old Buck and Zhang Cheng took the elevator, and Zhang Cheng watched as Old Buck pressed down on the second floor.

The elevator sank slowly, and Zhang Cheng felt as if his bones and muscles were being compressed under the overweight condition.

The elevator door opened on the second floor, and Old Buck and Zhang Cheng stepped out of the elevator door together.
