Chapter 126 Heart of Blood

Chapter 126 Heart of Blood
"Bloodthirsty fangs? You also know this thing?"

Lina hadn't said anything yet, but old Buck suddenly turned his head and stared at Zhang Cheng with a look of surprise.

"Huh?" Zhang Cheng was also taken aback by Old Buck's sudden move: "So, Old Buck, you also know bloodthirsty fangs?"

"Not only did I know, Lena was the one who told her!"

"Say it earlier, then I don't have to go to such great lengths to save Lina, I just ask you directly."

Zhang Cheng made a depressed look, but Old Buck and Lena naturally knew that he was just joking.

"Speaking of bloodthirsty fangs, we have to mention the monster Bloodfiend."

"Blood Demon?" Zhang Cheng looked puzzled, this was the first time he heard the name.

"In order to collect experimental evidence, I read a lot of information, even conducted a lot of field investigations, and consulted a lot of old people."

"At that time, I was conducting research on human mechanical exoskeletons, but due to some difficulties encountered in mechanical implantation, it was also accidental to find information about Blood Demon."

"It is said that it was many years ago. At that time, the frenzy of infection will sweep the whole world, and all parts of the world will fall into chaos."

"At that time, there was no Federation of Survivors, and the Empire camp had not yet been born, but the Gorefiend already existed at that time."

"It is said that the blood demon is one of the first infected creatures, and it is the limit that the individual strength of infected creatures can reach."

Zhang Cheng secretly clicked his tongue when he heard this. In his previous life, he knew how terrifying power those powerful infected bodies possessed, but can the blood demon claim to have reached the "limit of individual strength of infected organisms"?

Old Buck continued to narrate: "Later, the Gorefiend disappeared for unknown reasons, and its body was broken down into several parts, such as the bloodthirsty fangs, the heart of blood, the phalanx of the Gorefiend, etc."

"The information I have collected is not complete, and I don't know how many disassembled parts there are, but it is said that every part of the Gorefiend is the most treasured treasure!"

"The blood demon is about to die, and his subordinates fought for his inheritance. Finally, a series of maps such as the green forest, the Wushan mine, and the polar ice field were formed."

Zhang Cheng's eyes widened: "You mean, all these maps were once under the command of the Gorefiend, and these maps were later divided up by the subordinates of the Gorefiend?"

"I'm afraid it is." Old Buck nodded: "But after so many years of evolution, the subordinates of the blood demon are probably all dead, after all, so many years have passed."

Yeah, the world has been infested with infested creatures for years before players even entered the game.

In the unremitting struggle against the infection frenzy, humans gradually established a camp of survivors. Of course, some people chose to join the imperial forces, or wandered away and became mercenaries.

After generation after generation of evolution, the blood demon has already become a legend, and the people who still have blood demons in their memory probably no longer exist, and only books may be lucky enough to find one or two records.

Unexpectedly, the bloodthirsty necklace has such a big background. What Zhang Chengcheng said, the bloodthirsty necklace has just been advanced once, and Zhang Chengqiang has completely surpassed the level of strength that players at this stage should have.

This also strengthened Zhang Cheng's determination to continue to upgrade the advanced bloodthirsty necklace.

"So now have you heard any news about these parts?"

Old Buck returned: "I heard about the heart of blood from an old man in Wushan Mine. If you can find him, you may be able to get clues about the heart of blood!"

"Where is that old man now?" Zhang Cheng asked urgently.

Seeing Zhang Cheng's eagerness, Old Buck couldn't help asking curiously: "You seem to be very interested in the blood demon thing? Why, these things are useful to you?"

"I just have some things to confirm, and I hope you two can help me keep the fact that I'm chasing the blood demon's traces a secret." Zhang Cheng said sincerely.

"Don't worry, if it wasn't for you, it would be very difficult for Lena and I to escape from the experimental factory. Of course we wouldn't do such ungrateful things."

While old Buck was speaking, Lena also showed a grateful expression, believing that they would bury this secret in their hearts forever.

"The old man is very strange. It seems that he has lived in the Wushan Mine all year round. I am really curious. How does he, such an old man, survive in the dangerous Wushan Mine?"

"About a year ago, I met that strange old man on the mountainside in the north of Wushan Mountain. He should have lived there for a while, but the place is very hard to find. Then I will go with you. .”

Zhang Cheng immediately showed surprise on his face: "Then thank you very much!"

"You're welcome." Old Buck shook his hand: "Compared to what you did for us, I'm nothing more than leading the way."

While Zhang Cheng was talking with Old Buck, the helicopter soon arrived at the Survivor Federation Center.

It has to be said that the Federation is also getting stronger day by day, which can be seen from the speed of helicopter flight.

"Let's go, I'll take you to see Mr. Justin, the federal mayor first." Zhang Cheng summoned the amphibious phantom again, and drove the two of them towards the city hall quickly.

……

"Old scientist of the empire? Welcome, welcome."

Justin jumped up from his old chair and hurriedly asked Old Buck to sit down on the sofa in the office.

The sofa also looked a bit worn out, but it was quite comfortable to sit on.

"Hello, Mayor Justin, our grandpa and grandson may bother you in the Federation of Survivors from now on."

"I don't know which aspect of research Mr. Barker has conducted before?"

"In terms of mechanical exoskeletons."

"Mechanical exoskeleton? Our Federation has also dabbled in this. I wonder if we can communicate with Mr. Buck."

"Of course it's a great wish."

Justin and Old Buck chatted quickly, and Zhang Cheng yawned a little bored. He was a little too thrilled and tired during the day, and he fell asleep on the sofa without paying attention.

"Shh."

Justin made a silence gesture, then greeted Old Buck and Lina to leave the office, leaving Zhang Cheng sleeping alone in the office.

……

The next morning, when Zhang Cheng slowly woke up from his dream, he only felt that the muscles all over his body were stiff and sore.

Zhang Cheng hurriedly stood up and moved his body. He had fought so hard yesterday, and he spent the whole night on this dilapidated sofa. It's no wonder he didn't feel any pain.

Only then did Zhang Cheng realize that he was so sleepy yesterday that he fell asleep directly in Justin's office.

"However, what about the mayor and old Buck? The matter of going to the Wushan Mine to find the Heart of Blood cannot be delayed."
