181: Guerrilla tactics

Xu Shian's plan was quite beautiful.

However, as players' understanding of the game deepened, they became more adept at preventing such occurrences.

Several neighbors of Yun Province even specifically started a thread on the Forum to research how to prevent Xu Shian from backdooring them.

This thread now had three hundred thousand posts... however, as the saying goes, while the priest climbs a foot, the devil climbs ten.

When people are doing bad things, their IQ always hits the charts!

Xu Shian started a thread on the internal Forum, asking guild members for suggestions on how to better backdoor others.

He also had the secretariat arrange for internet trolls to cause trouble in the opponents' threads... the guild members were incredibly active in giving advice.

After all, Xu Shian was about to reach Level 15; if his level was filled with foreign first kills, it would leave more resources for the guild internally... since ancient times, great masters have been found among the common people, especially when driven by interest, and they truly provided Xu Shian with many excellent ideas.

When Xu Shian was causing trouble in Lin Yue Country, he had made more than one mistake, which turned the originally simple mode into one full of difficulties!

At this time, Xu Shian combined various suggestions from the guild Forum.

He organized a new plan... [Ding, World Announcement: Players 'Shi Chuan', 'I Am Really Not a Big Star', 'My Daughter Is a Big Star', 'Sad Fish', and 'Dumplings Boil Tangyuan' have completed the first clear of the Level 20 Dungeon 'Rebel Hideout' on hell difficulty. They have received generous rewards. Players, please keep up the good work and create more glory!]

[Ding, World Announcement...]

...After three consecutive world announcements, players from all countries were already powerless to complain!

"Another victim... which country's Dungeon was ruined by Shi Chuan this time?"

"I don't know! There's no news on the Forum at all!"

"You don't even know which country the Dungeon belongs to? What about the elite difficulty? Was there no broadcast?"

"I went to the Forum to look, and there's no notification of elite difficulty being cleared in any country..."

...The several countries adjacent to Yun Province had actually arranged for a group of players with no talent or strength to enter the main cities first.

Of course, it cost a lot of money... these people were fine for joining the City Defense Force to patrol the city, but asking them to go out and gather news from afar was beyond their capabilities.

And at this time, they didn't even know the names of the nearby Dungeons... "Holy crap, this guy might have gone straight for the hell difficulty and even hit a Level 20 Dungeon. Even if ordinary players entered the main city, they wouldn't be able to go that far to collect Dungeon information!"

"No way! Shi Chuan's style of doing things is also evolving with the times!"

"Definitely, after all, he was surrounded in Lin Yue Country..."

"He didn't suffer any loss though..."

...On Xu Shian's side, after getting the first kill of the hell difficulty Dungeon.

Xu Shian was in no hurry to clear the elite difficulty Dungeon; instead, he immediately went to Mitie, planning to use the time difference.

He would first use the teleportation array to run through Ganpu Country!

During this process, Xu Shian had to avoid killing people... because as long as a fight started, killing just a couple more would make his reputation insufficient!

Fortunately, everything went as Xu Shian expected; before Ganpu Country could react, he had already run through all nine cities of the Ganpu Highlands!

...By the time Xu Shian returned to Mitie, seven or eight hours had passed!

An Xixi and the other three were still waiting in the Dungeon for Xu Shian to return!

Then they began their first-clear journey for the Level 20 Dungeon's elite difficulty and the Level 15 Dungeon 'Mountain Corridor' on both hell difficulty and elite difficulty!

Once elite difficulty was cleared, the announcement only sounded within that country!

Now, everyone confirmed that Ganpu Country had suffered a disaster... Actually, ordinary players didn't care about this at all!

Those who cared about Dungeon first kills were high-end players who had a hope of getting them.

And most high-end players were currently stuck at the Bronze Trial and couldn't get through... which was very awkward!

Coupled with the cautionary tale of Lin Yue Country.

So, Xu Shian could now handle things calmly here... "We spent a whole day on these two Dungeons!"

"You tell me if it was worth a whole day..."

An Xixi nodded very excitedly.

"It was definitely worth it! The maps are all open? Are we fighting tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow? We won't fight tomorrow!"

"Huh?"

An Xixi didn't quite understand Xu Shian's thinking!

"While the attention of the onlookers is focused on Ganpu Country, I plan to go to the Rakshasa Empire to plant a marker for future teleportation!"

An Xixi's eyes widened, unable to understand Xu Shian's maneuver... What was there not to understand?

It was just a matter of repairing the gallery roads while secretly crossing the Wei River!

After drawing all eyes to Ganpu Country, he would perform a grand shift.

He would first snatch the Dungeons around the Rakshasa Empire, the neighbor he wanted to weaken next... this neighbor was still too strong and needed to be weakened!

The East Dragon Empire where Xia Country was located only had nine provinces.

Yet the Bear Empire actually had fourteen provinces... how many people did they even have?

With such rich resources, what was wrong with sharing a bit with a poor neighbor?

And now, once Xu Shian cleared the elite Dungeons, the system announcement sounded in Ganpu Country!

Thus the whole world knew his gaze was concentrated here... Having found the next victim, players in other countries could feel much more at ease!

At this time, if he secretly went to the Rakshasa Country to clear a Level 20 hell difficulty Dungeon, others would probably think it belonged to Ganpu Country... Xu Shian dropped Sink off at the Dungeon entrance, letting him cross Ganpu Country to head toward Khmer Country.

As for Xu Shian himself, he used an Anywhere Door to take the team of four back to Qinghan Garden.

"Shian, you're going out now? It's almost dark..."

Liu Lili saw that Xu Shian had just returned home and was about to head out in the dark again, so she couldn't help but try to persuade him.

"At least eat dinner before you go. Besides, this game world has actually integrated deeply with reality; is it really necessary to work so hard?"

Xu Shian's hurried footsteps paused for barely two seconds.

"I won't eat, I'm in a hurry..."

This was the difference in thinking between men and women.

For men, the imperial seal and dragon robes were things they could not refuse... In the Blue Star era, people like Xu Shian and King Arthur might have been just ordinary members of the masses.

Living ordinary lives where they weren't stuffed but weren't starving.

But once they had the chance to ascend to a high position, they would involuntarily push themselves... this was the work of the DNA etched into a man's bones!

Moreover, Xu Shian also wanted to one day hold a certain pleasing planet in his hand to play with... taking the teleportation array, Xu Shian came alone to Snow Wolf Fort at the northernmost tip of Lin Province.

He took a gryphon in the city and headed to the border at the Northern Suppression Camp.

"Hey, the Empire has issued a decree; the border is closed, you can't go out anymore!"

Xu Shian landed at the Northern Suppression Camp and summoned his warhorse. Just as he was about to gallop off, he was stopped by a soldier wandering around the camp.

Xu Shian looked left and right, then pointed at his own nose and asked.

"Are you talking to me?"

"Is there anyone else here besides you?"

"Since the border is closed, why do I still encounter wild mobs like foreign spies in the wilderness?"

Xu Shian had wanted to ask this question long ago.

Unfortunately, he couldn't find an NPC in Yun Province willing to explain... affected by the changes in the Royal City and the Capital, this period of time felt more like a collective silence for the NPCs.

"Wild mobs... actually, they can no longer be considered part of the Human Race! They are a group of beings who were alienated by the system because they didn't receive the protection of a town during the time-space convergence!"

"Even if you kill them all, they will refresh again! However, they no longer possess the functions of a spy..."

The soldier looked at the endless mountains in the distance and sighed, because those turned into wild mobs included their own comrades-in-arms!

"Time-space convergence... and it needs town protection?"

"Once you've experienced it, you'll know!"

The soldier pushed up the visor on his helmet, revealing a young face.

"Are you here to level up?"

"I'm going to Rakshasa Country to handle some business!"

"I just said, the border is locked, you can't pass... besides, Rakshasa Country is a bit far; there's a buffer zone of over two hundred kilometers in between..."
