But the servo motor is different. Even if it does not rotate, it needs to be powered on and consume electric energy, and it is firmly maintained at that angle. It is useless even if it is broken by hand.
Only after receiving the command from the computer can the specified angle be rotated according to this command, and the computer can confirm the current angle of the servo motor in real time.
The development of servo motor has been for decades. The pursuit of its performance is mainly reflected in accuracy and ruthlessness, that is, precision and strength. In addition, it needs high stability, no error in long-term work, small vibration, and speed is a secondary index.
The servo motor achieves accurate control at low speed, so the manipulator can appear.
In addition, the so-called steering gear used in the aircraft model is actually a low-end servo motor, which is also the most common servo motor system.
Larger servo motors are widely used in modern fully automatic factories and are also regarded as the core components of humanoid robots in the future.
However, the development of humanoid robot tends to stagnate, because so far, the servo motors that can be placed at the joints of humanoid robot have lost to humans of the same weight level in terms of force.

If you want a very good servo motor with great strength and high precision, you must use a larger and heavier servo motor. However, there is no problem that a mechanical arm is fixed on a table alone in the factory.
