53: We come from Earth

"Beast!!!" Zhang Ye's eyes were bloodshot as he roared, drawing his military knife and pouncing on Wu Hao like a madman!

Wu Hao was terrified, scrambling into the Orc camp, screaming, "Don't kill me! I surrender! I'll be your slave! I'll help you defeat them!"

Leige had seen that scene clearly.

Wu Hao's betrayal was no act! If not for this person's sneak attack, he would have been dead just now! This gave him a precious moment to catch his breath!

"Don't hurt him! Protect him, everyone! Retreat!" Leige endured his injuries and immediately gave the order to retreat.

The Orc army retreated like a tide.

The Transmigrators were also unable to pursue, and everyone's hearts were clenched—Chen Xu had been shot in the back, blood staining a large part of his clothes, and he was barely breathing: "It's my fault... It's my indecisiveness... I should have... gotten rid of Wu Hao sooner..."

"No! It's my fault! It's all my fault!" Shen Nanzhi cried tears, trembling all over, pressing her hands desperately on Chen Xu's wound.

The moonlight slowly seeped in, but this was a wound caused by gunpowder, mixed with lead poisoning and tearing, making it difficult for magic to fully repair.

The only doctor among the Transmigrators, Doctor Song, quickly stepped forward and laboriously removed the deformed bullet casing with simple tools.

However, Chen Xu's vital signs remained weak, and he was in critical condition.

Su He was extremely anxious: "I recently cultivated a hybrid magic herb, but I haven't tested it yet, so I don't know the effect."

Chen Xu's Qi was like a wisp of smoke, and he struggled to squeeze out a few words: "Use it... It's better than... dying..."

Su He immediately sprang into action, suppressing his panic, taking out his treasured herbs, carefully crushing and mixing them, then supplementing them with his own natural magic energy to prepare a paste, which he carefully applied to Chen Xu's horrific wound.

After a tense rescue, Chen Xu's rapid breathing finally calmed down slightly, and his life was temporarily saved.

Chen Xu was still worried and forced himself to speak: "Everyone, don't crowd around me. Stick to the plan. Go set up new traps. Cheng Xue, you research how to improve weapons and figure out a way for one person to control multiple firearms/muskets, cannons..."

Cheng Xue knelt beside him, tightly holding his cold hand, her voice firm and gentle: "You rest and recover! Leave these matters to us!"

...Inside the Orc Tribe's council tent, the animal skin tent shook violently in the wind.

Wu Hao was roughly thrown into the center, and several Orc generals, who hated him to the bone, took turns punching and kicking him.

"Calamity!" a scar-faced general roared, his sharp fangs almost touching Wu Hao's nose, "It's all because of you calamities! I'll kill you!" His heavy fist slammed into Wu Hao's abdomen, making Wu Hao curl up in pain.

Leige raised his hand to stop the violence: "Alright, stop hitting him. Let's hear what useful things this traitor can spill."

The tent immediately fell silent, leaving only the crackling of charcoal burning in the brazier.

Wu Hao struggled to prop himself up, blood oozing from the corner of his mouth, but he revealed a strange smile: "Greetings, Orc brothers, we come from a place called Earth. We died by accident, and our Souls were brought here. Then a god-like figure gave us a ultimate mission: to destroy the civilization of the Eternal Continent!"

The Chieftain suddenly stood up: "What did you say? You're not destroying the Chaotic Continent? You're destroying the Eternal Continent? Is there another Continent in this world?"

The Great Shaman's bone staff glowed faintly, his dry lips trembling: "He is not lying to us. I once used necromancy to learn that there is indeed another Continent in this world, with two Empires on it, one called the Sunday Empire and the other the Eternal Night Empire."

Wu Hao nodded repeatedly: "Yes, yes, those are the two Empires! You'd better hurry! They are constantly iterating and upgrading their weapons. In less than half a year, they went from having nothing to producing firearms/muskets and cannons. If you don't eliminate them soon, they will destroy all of you."

The Chieftain narrowed his single eye, staring suspiciously at this human: "Why do you want to help us? I suspect this is a ploy!"

Wu Hao suddenly burst into a frantic laugh, abruptly pulling open his waistband.

A putrid smell instantly filled the entire tent, causing several Orc generals to unconsciously recoil.

"Look what they did to me!"

Wu Hao was hysterical, revealing his completely rotted genitals: "They were jealous of my talent! They ganged up and bullied me, injured me! I will never rest until they are destroyed!"

The Chieftain and the Orc generals believed him, after all, no bitter trick would be this cruel; this was more brutal than killing a man.

Leige's gaze was drawn to the weapon in Wu Hao's hand: "This thing in your hand, is it what you call a firearm/musket?"

Wu Hao nodded wildly: "Yes! See if you can replicate it. If so many of you each had a firearm/musket, you could definitely wipe them out!"

Leige pondered for a moment, then snatched the firearm/musket: "You, come with me."

He commanded gruffly, pulling Wu Hao outside.

They arrived at the entrance of the dwarf-inhabited mine, where glowing moss climbed the damp rock walls.

Dwarf King Gelong sat in front of the forge, roaring without looking up: "You have no more treasures, why are you still here!"

Leige handed over the firearm/musket: "Here's something you'll definitely be interested in."

The Dwarf King looked up, then his eyes widened.

Grom cautiously touched the smooth surface of the firearm/musket, a fanatic gleam bursting from his clouded eyes: "This is..."

Just as the Dwarf King, captivated, wanted to study it carefully, Leige snatched the weapon back: "This weapon can be yours, but on one condition: you must forge two hundred identical ones for us."

The Dwarf King nodded frantically, his grizzled beard shaking violently with the movement: "Yes! Yes! Quick, quick, let me see!"

When the firearm/musket was back in his hands, the Dwarf King examined it meticulously as if it were a priceless treasure: "Perfect, here, there..." He muttered to himself, his fingers tracing every part, "Oh my, how was this made? This craftsmanship, this design..."

Suddenly, the Dwarf King looked up, his eyes shining with a thirst for knowledge: "Right, you said this is called a firearm/musket, how does it attack?"

Wu Hao grinned: "I'll demonstrate."

With a deafening "Boom!", a distant rock shattered, sending fragments flying.

The Dwarf King went completely mad, jumping onto the forge and gesticulating wildly: "This is truly the greatest weapon I have ever seen! Quick! Quick, tell me how that thing called a bullet is made!"

Wu Hao's expression became awkward: "I don't know how it's made either, I only know it's a mixture of charcoal, saltpeter, and sulfuric acid in a certain proportion, but this world doesn't seem to have saltpeter or sulfuric acid. My companions used substitutes."

Wu Hao pulled a small cloth bag from his In my arms: "I have one last bullet here. You can disassemble it..."

The Dwarf King took the bullet as if it were a treasure, examining it carefully under the light: "Exquisite, too exquisite, haha! Don't worry, I will definitely forge it within a month!"

Leige's face was full of anticipation. If all of his Orcs could be equipped with such powerful firearms/muskets, let alone the Transmigrators, the entire Chaotic Continent could be swept clean. Then they could unify the entire Continent! Orcs! Supreme glory!
