577: Chapter 573 Civilization Seeder

Their movements were extremely skillful. Once each warship docked near a target planet, they immediately divided the labor clearly: some personnel remained on the warship to operate intelligent probes, cooperating with the main ship, the Eternal Silence, to conduct searches while maintaining clear communication with the main ship to report detection status at any time;

The other portion of the crew took small shuttles, carrying planetary modification equipment and Civilization Sowers, to the planet's surface to quickly initiate modification and seeding procedures. Atmospheric Optimizers, Geological Stabilizers, Water Purifiers, and Terrain Modification Machines—these "Divine Artifacts for creating low-level planetary civilizations"—were rapidly deployed across various corners of the planet. Pale blue and pale purple energy beams enveloped the planet's surface, and the originally barren and harsh planetary environment quickly became habitable under the modification of these advanced devices.

The Civilization Sowers were activated one by one. Countless genetically modified primitive life seeds, accompanied by pale golden energy beams, were sown across various regions of the planet, landing on fertile soil, by clear rivers, and in dense forests.

These seeds could quickly adapt to the modified planetary environment, rapidly taking root, sprouting, reproducing, and evolving. The Civilization Enlightenment Chips hidden within the seeds' genetic sequences would guide the life forms to learn languages, establish order, and develop civilization once they evolved preliminary intelligence, bypassing the long process of natural evolution.

The most crucial step was activating the Time Accelerator.

The Time Accelerator of every warship was set to maximum power. Pale purple energy beams shot out from the bottom of the warships, enveloping the entire target planet. The space-time around the planet began to warp slightly as the flow of time was drastically accelerated—according to the time standards of the Tianxuan Universe, for every standard hour spent on the warship, a million years would pass on the planet; ten standard hours meant ten million years. (The specific actual ratio depended on the specifications of the Time Accelerator, the time rules of the target planet, and the rules of the local Universe bubble.)

In other words, as long as they were willing and kept the Time Accelerator running normally, they could easily become local tyrants for millions or tens of millions of years, enjoying supreme glory for a sufficiently long time.

The crew members sat before the holographic screens of the warships, drinking energy beverages while watching the rapidly evolving life and civilizations on the screens, their faces full of pride and satisfaction.

They watched as primitive life evolved preliminary intelligence, watched them establish tribes and form nations, and watched them build temples and hold sacrifices, regarding them as "Creator Gods." That thrill of controlling everything and being worshiped by tens of thousands was something they could never experience in the Tianxuan Universe.

They descended to the planets, accepting the worship of intelligent life, appointing officials, enacting laws, and establishing their own "Empires," enjoying tens of thousands of years of ultimate glory before returning to the warships to continue watching their "subjects" grow and their "Empires" prosper.

They didn't dare to become completely addicted to this pleasure, because with one slip-up, they might lose connection with the Tianxuan Universe—they knew very well that the Star Lord's enforcement teams were ruthless and omnipresent. Even if they hid in this remote low-level Universe bubble, as long as they disconnected without authorization or refused to return, the enforcement teams could track them through the warships' energy traces. What awaited them would be extremely severe punishment, ranging from having their cultivation Sealed and being exiled to the Void Realm Chaos, to direct execution with no mercy shown.

To them, this life of a "temporary local tyrant" was merely a "diversion" during field missions, a way to relax, and could never become their ultimate destination.

Unlike the revelry and ease of the other eleven warships, Kairos remained steadfast on the bridge of the main ship, the Eternal Silence, fully devoted to the search. The external clamor and the crew's revelry had nothing to do with him.

To him, being a "local tyrant" was a trick he had grown tired of in his youth and was not worth a shred of his energy—in his youth, he had followed the Star Lord to suppress countless rebellious mid-level Universes. After suppressing each Universe, he would stay there for a period, having ruled over hundreds of mid-level Universes, served as "Universe Lord" hundreds of times, controlled the fates of countless intelligent civilizations, and enjoyed a supreme glory far more extreme and long-lasting than these crew members.

Those so-called "local tyrant" thrills had long since become bland with the passage of time. Now, he had only one goal: to find the traces of the Tenth Prince, Aires, uncover the truth behind his disappearance, and fulfill the Star Lord's decree.

Kairos's fingers tapped rapidly on the control panel, his movements precise and fluid without the slightest pause.

The central database of the main ship, the Eternal Silence, operated at high speed. Countless pieces of detection data, energy fluctuation curves, and spatial trajectory maps refreshed rapidly on the screen. The artificial intelligence analyzed and filtered every piece of data with all its might, attempting to find any clues related to Aires.

Kairos's six mechanical compound eyes stared intently at every detail on the screen, red lights flashing incessantly. His gaze was so sharp it seemed capable of piercing through Chaos to capture the faintest trace—he didn't overlook any anomaly; even a negligible energy fluctuation or a tiny molecular fragment would be repeatedly analyzed and reconstructed by the AI to ensure no clue that might lead to Aires was missed.

He pulled up all relevant information on Aires and repeatedly reviewed and deduced: Aires, the tenth son of Star Lord Aurorax, a top student at the Star Dome Academy, and a Core Disciple of Mentor Quinn. His cultivation had reached the Star Domain Early Stage. He was exceptionally gifted and specialized in cross-Universe experiments and Soul research.

He carried three Star Domain-grade life-saving items: the Neutron star core amulet, the Dimensional Traverse Ring, and the Divine Soul Guardian Jade. Among them, the Neutron star core amulet was the most powerful; even if a cosmic singularity exploded, it could preserve his Divine Soul intact. As long as the Divine Soul remained, resurrection was possible.

In addition, Aires had requested the use of a Single-person Cosmic Wormhole Shuttle (Model: Ω-7) and a beta version of the heavenly dao system (Serial: UDE-T9). The power core of the Ω-7 wormhole shuttle was a small Chaos Energy Block, which released unique Chaos energy fluctuations when operating. These fluctuations were unique and difficult to completely erase. The beta version of the heavenly dao system could intervene in the rules of low-level Universes, bind Souls, and enhance combat power. When running, it would release high-dimensional consciousness fluctuations that conflicted with the will of low-level Universes, leaving obvious energy traces.

"This low-level Universe bubble has a CVI of only .3, and its dimensional structure is extremely unstable. Normally, even such a low-level Universe should be able to give birth to hundreds of basic civilizations. Even the most primitive tribal civilizations would leave corresponding energy fluctuations and traces of life," Kairos muttered to himself, the red light in his mechanical compound eyes becoming even sharper. "But according to the current detection data, there are actually no traces of any civilization existing within the entire Universe bubble—no energy fluctuations, no life signals, not even any molecular fragments left by intelligent life activities. This is too abnormal; it's definitely not naturally formed."

This abnormal phenomenon made Kairos even more certain of his judgment—Aires's disappearance was by no means an accident. The anomaly of this low-level Universe bubble was bound to be related to Aires, and might even have been artificially caused by Aires himself.
