3: Chapter 3 Guo Fan: Chairman Xu, shall we sign the contract?

In front of the Xu's Heavy Industry Group building.

Director Guo Fan and his team arrived at Xu Hao's company.

Looking at the company before him, the large characters 'Xu's Heavy Industry Group' were prominently displayed.

"This is the place..."

Director Guo Fan strode forward, and the people behind him hurriedly followed.

He followed the main path of the building all the way to the entrance of the conference room.

Suddenly, Director Guo Fan saw people walking out of the conference room one after another.

"What's going on? Why do these employees look so upset? ..."

It was easy to tell that these were employees of Xu's Heavy Industry, as they were all wearing the company's uniform.

However... their expressions were grim, their faces filled with disappointment, dissatisfaction, and anger...

Engineer Li, who had led the resignations, walked out of the conference room door and, upon turning the corner, saw Director Guo Fan holding documents with a few staff members following behind him.

With his hands behind his back and a cold expression, he paused briefly as he passed by Director Guo Fan.

"Hmph!" Engineer Li snorted coldly without saying a word, his eyes devoid of emotion as he walked straight away.

"Did that employee just now seem to have an issue with me?" Director Guo Fan turned his head, watching the slightly hunched old employee, and asked his own staff behind him.

"Did he? I don't think so..."

"Director Guo is here to discuss a partnership; why would their employees be dissatisfied with you?"

The staff member said.

Immediately after, they saw a relatively young man wearing a suit and tie walk out of the conference room door.

"You must be Director Guo." As soon as Xu Hao came out, he saw Director Guo Fan and his group standing at the conference room door and hurriedly greeted them.

"Chairman Xu, hello, hello..."

Director Guo Fan snapped out of it, put a smile on his face, and shook hands with Xu Hao.

So this is the chairman of Xu's Heavy Industry Group; he is quite young.

"This isn't the place to talk, let's go... to my office." Xu Hao invited.

Director Guo Fan nodded with a smile and then followed Xu Hao to his office.

Xu Hao turned his head slightly, watching Engineer Li and the group of employees gradually disappear at the end of the corridor, and sighed secretly.

Sad? Not really, just a bit regretful.

After all, these were veteran employees who had been working hard with his father since he started the business from scratch.

Now that he had taken over the company and mismanaged it, their departure was ultimately a pity.

However, everyone has their own aspirations, and people always strive for better things.

The current predicament of Xu's Heavy Industry inevitably made it hard for some employees to hold on.

People... all have to make a living...

Xu Hao understood them.

Recovering his focus and composing his mood, Xu Hao shifted his attention to the cooperation with Director Guo Fan.

As long as the partnership was reached, he believed that within a year, Xu's Heavy Industry would return to its original level.

... Office.

"Chairman Xu, I won't beat around the bush; let me detail my requirements and the situation on my end." Director Guo Fan took a sip of tea and said directly.

"Please go ahead..." Xu Hao nodded.

"I am filming a science fiction movie, so I need some props with a sci-fi feel. According to the script, we currently need heavy-duty transport vehicles, nuclear-powered thermal suits, micro-nuclear batteries, and so on. Can you provide these?"

Director Guo Fan asked cautiously and tentatively.

He took a document out of his bag, placed it on the table, and then slid it in front of Xu Hao.

Of course, there was naturally more than just this document in the bag.

Also brought along was the contract for formally establishing a partnership.

As long as Xu Hao agreed to the cooperation, he would sign the partnership contract immediately.

He sat up straight, clasped his hands into fists between his thighs, and watched Xu Hao with anxiety.

Whether filming could officially begin depended on whether Xu Hao agreed to work with him.

These sci-fi props were very important.

After seeing his requirements, people from other companies had flatly refused, saying it was impossible to achieve.

Because of this, Director Guo Fan was now a bit worried, worried that Xu Hao would also be unable to build these props.

Xu Hao took the document handed over by Director Guo Fan, opened it to look, and immediately felt something was off, thinking to himself:

"That's not right, the requirements are so low?"

"The transport vehicle only requires six wheels, a payload of just 100 tons, and a speed requirement of only 30km/h. Isn't this about the same as a regular large transport truck..."

He looked at the requirements for the other props as well; they were all the same, very low.

Seeing this, Xu Hao closed the document and sighed.

Building these props was simply too easy.

"No problem, it can be done," Xu Hao replied. "And I happen to have a blueprint for this in my hands, take a look."

After saying this, Xu Hao took out the transport vehicle blueprint rewarded by the system and handed it to Director Guo Fan.

Upon hearing Xu Hao say it could be achieved, Director Guo Fan was already overjoyed.

Now, hearing that Xu Hao had a blueprint, he immediately accepted it with both hands, ecstatic, and examined it with great anticipation.

When he saw the incomparably huge, behemoth-like large transport vehicle on the blueprint, he was stunned.

Immediately following, his already excited face turned flushed, "Yes! That's it! This is it! It's exactly the same as the transport vehicle in my imagination!"

Director Guo Fan's hands holding the blueprint trembled slightly, his excitement evident.

It was simply a transport vehicle tailored for his movie; it was too perfect!!

After a while, he calmed down, stared at the blueprint, and then looked up at Xu Hao.

"Chairman Xu, this is the kind of transport vehicle we need."

"However, this is a science fiction movie after all, so this transport vehicle needs to have a bit of a sci-fi feel, preferably with that kind of doomsday style."

"The requirements don't need to be too high, at least it should look real. Mainly, the exterior and interior decoration should make people feel like it's a sci-fi product at first glance."

Director Guo Fan said.

Actually, he also had a little secret hope: if the transport vehicle on this blueprint could really drive, how wonderful that would be!

It didn't need to be fast, just being able to move on the road would already be perfect.

However.

Director Guo Fan thought about how the current sci-fi market was sluggish, and the investment he had raised for this movie was also very small.

To make such a behemoth transport vehicle move, the funds required would be unimaginable.

Therefore, this thought in his mind was directly dismissed.

Being able to have a company make such movie props was already as good as it gets.

It's just that... when Xu Hao heard Director Guo Fan's additional requirements, he felt a bit confused.

Just... just make it look like a sci-fi product?

Wouldn't this requirement be too low?

He had the specific construction blueprints in his hands; he could completely build it one-to-one, and the cost wouldn't be high either.

But Xu Hao didn't say these things directly; instead, he nodded and agreed, "Okay, Director Guo, no problem."

Director Guo Fan had been watching Xu Hao, and seeing him nod and agree without hesitation, the stone in his heart finally fell to the ground.

He let out a long sigh of relief, his eyes filled with joy. With astonishing speed, he quickly grabbed his bag, took out a document from inside, and handed it to Xu Hao with both hands:

"Chairman Xu, shall we sign the contract then?!"

Xu Hao: ???

He was stunned.

He just said he could build it, and now he wants to sign the contract immediately?

Isn't that too fast?!

Watching Director Guo Fan's behavior, Xu Hao always felt there was something slightly off.

Or rather, he had a bad premonition...
