Just as he was expecting to start his new day with a new job, albeit a temporary one, Alex walked through the company’s grand entrance with great confidence.What Alex did not know was that this critical information of his joining the company today had reached the very ears of each and every important person in the company.

Unexpectedly, somehow last night the news that there was a new person who was coming to the company and he was also happened to be the boss’s only daughter’s boyfriend had spread throughout the entire company like wildfire.

The gossip network was remarkably efficient in making it sure that it is well known.

Everyone knew that Riya was the only child of Mr. Raghavan who was a CEO controlling billions in assets.

So during the working hours when the company elevator was bustling with morning activity, as soon as Alex entered the elevator everyone fell into immediate silence upon seeing the handsome and unfamiliar face.

"Take this...this is premium Darjeeling tea from my private collection specially reserved for important guests. I love it personally, hope it will suit your refined taste well.

Drinking it in the morning will refresh your mind beautifully too. The aroma alone is therapeutic."

Director Divansh asked Alex to sit on the comfortable leather sofa. He personally brewed tea for him with careful attention.

His attitude was polite and greatly flattering trying heavily to please him as he knew pleasing him however shameful that might seem would help him in the long run.

Career advancement required sacrifices to dignity after all.

Throughout the company it was not wrong to say that more than ninety percent of employees knew about Alex’s special status already.

The gossip had been thorough in making it clear who was he to all who are active within those social circles.
