37: I lost my sanity.
Who is it?
Could it be the Chief?
Looking at those blood-red eyes in the dust, Arthur could vaguely see the visitor's massive figure, even larger than his own.
"It shouldn't be the Chief; the Chief is a green-skinned shorty."
Excluding the Chief, who else would know about this place?
Arthur remained silent, simply retreating until he soon reached the edge of the Lava Pool.
One more step back and he would fall into the Lava Pool.
The dust gradually dissipated, revealing the visitor's true appearance.
The moment he saw its appearance clearly, Arthur felt an unprovoked dizziness. A wave of cold dread swept through his body, his stomach churned, and he nearly vomited several times.
What kind of creature was this?
It was almost impossible to describe in words.
Standing about two meters tall with grayish-green skin, it had a head resembling a Goblin's but with four bull horns. Where the mouth and nose should have been, there was nothing but a thick layer of keratin, and a pair of blood-red eyes were positioned on either side.
Its arms were not arms; instead, they were two stone axes. These stone axes weren't simply slotted into the shoulders but were entwined by countless exposed blood vessels, rooted deep within the axes as if they were limbs born that way, natural from birth.
Its lower limbs were digitigrade, resembling bull legs with massive hooves.
At its tailbone, a hairless grayish-green tail was attached. A miniature Goblin head grew at the tip of the tail, which whipped against the ground rhythmically, making a "pa-pa-pa" sound.
This was a true [Monster]!
Compared to it, Arthur could even be considered handsome.
Meanwhile, the illusory panel of the infinite synthesizer was currently floating above this grotesque creature's head, blinking and flashing incessantly.
Suppressing his nausea, Arthur focused his gaze on the illusory panel.
[Name: Gobnaiu]

[Constitution: 15]
[Strength: 15]
[Agility: 10]
[Intelligence: -100]
After reading the information on the illusory panel, Arthur remained silent on the outside, but a storm was brewing in his heart.
His thoughts were instantly drained, following his memory back to a point in time not long ago.
It was shortly after the slaughter of the Minotaur Tribe.
Gobnai died from the Minotaur King's charge.
To repay Gobnai for his righteous intervention, Arthur had used Gobnai's corpse as a synthetic material for synthesis.
However, because the synthesis time exceeded Arthur's expectations and there were Monsters lurking around, the risk was too great.
Facing the overwhelming suppression of the Forest Giant Bear, Arthur chose to take refuge in the Material Space.
By the time Arthur emerged from the Material Space, the Minotaur Tribe had already been wiped clean.
The synthesized result was nowhere to be found.
Based on the massive footprints of an unknown creature left at the scene, Arthur judged that the synthesis must have died at its hands.
Unexpectedly, after many days, Arthur actually saw that day's synthetic creation again!
Looking at Gobnaiu's terrifying and eerie appearance, Arthur swallowed hard and subconsciously looked away to divert his gaze.
"This thing is too sinister."
"Fortunately, it's completely under my control and is powerful; it's a good helper."
Thinking of this, Arthur's hanging heart finally relaxed.
Unable to resist, he stole a glance at Gobnaiu. Arthur's lips moved, and after a long while, he said with a teasing expression, "Gobnai, my good brother, this can be considered a 'new life' for you in another sense."
Unfortunately, Gobnaiu was constantly in a state of Frenzy, remaining indifferent to Arthur's comfort, only staring at Arthur with those crimson eyes.
Being stared at intently by Gobnaiu, Arthur rubbed his nose uncomfortably.
However, after seeing Gobnai's axe-arms, Arthur's eyes lit up, and he instantly became excited.
"You just dug your way in with those axe-arms, didn't you?"
"15 points in Strength, you're quite strong, young man."
"I was just worrying about how to get onto the Obsidian Platform, and here comes the solution just when I needed it. Fantastic!"
With that, Arthur waved to Gobnaiu, signaling him to come forward.
Receiving Arthur's summons, Gobnaiu, who had been standing still, didn't say a word. He moved his massive bull hooves and stomped over to the edge of the Lava Pool.
"With my 8 points of Strength, I could throw the Bone Mask onto the Obsidian Platform."
"Your Strength is nearly double mine; throwing me over shouldn't be a problem."
That's right, this was the solution Arthur had come up with.
Treating himself as a projectile to be thrown by Gobnaiu onto the Obsidian Platform!
However, for safety reasons, Arthur didn't implement the plan immediately. Instead, he first moved a piece of rock much larger than himself and handed it to Gobnaiu.
Although Gobnaiu obeyed him completely, Arthur ultimately didn't feel comfortable leaving his life in someone else's hands.
You only have one life.
Once you fall into the Lava Pool, dying eight hundred times wouldn't be enough.
Therefore, before carrying out the plan, Arthur had to test Gobnaiu's specific situation.
At Arthur's signal, Gobnaiu gripped the rock with his axe-arms and then suddenly hurled it toward the Obsidian Platform.
"Thump!"
Under Arthur's hopeful gaze, the rock flew over the Obsidian Platform at lightning speed and then crashed heavily into the Lava Pool, splashing a large wave.
Beautiful!
A perfect miss!
With a darkened face, Arthur moved another rock over.
"Use less force, aim for the platform. If you miss the throw, I'll kick you down there."
Facing Arthur's warning and threat, it was unclear if Gobnaiu understood, but this time he accurately threw the rock onto the Obsidian Platform.
After several more tests to ensure there were no problems, Arthur took a deep breath and said in a heavy voice to Gobnaiu, "Next, throw me over."
Gobnaiu remained silent.
Of course, he didn't even have a mouth, so he couldn't speak at all.
Lifting Arthur up, Gobnaiu adjusted his stance and then suddenly swung his axe-arms.
Under that terrifying power, Arthur felt his body instantly lose weight, shooting toward the Obsidian Platform like a cannonball.
Feeling the wind whistling past his ears and the scorching heat rising from the Lava Pool below, Arthur gritted his teeth, a look of ruthlessness flashing in his eyes.
Come on!
Let's see who the final winner is!
