415: Bone Rot

Myriad Ghosts Domain, Rotten Bone Heaven Realm!

Rotten Bone City, an ancient city built from the piled-up remains of countless living beings, exuded an aura of decay and death. This was the ancestral land of the Rotten Bone Clan and the core of the Rotten Bone Heaven Realm.

Legend has it that Rotten Bone City was born after a world-shaking war, where the remains of countless beings accumulated. Over the ages, these remains eventually gave birth to the progenitor of the Rotten Bone Clan.

Today, although the Rotten Bone Clan is considered a minor clan in the Nether Territory, within this Rotten Bone Heaven Realm, they are the undisputed overlords.

At this moment, in the core area of the Rotten Bone Clan, six pitch-black skeletons sat cross-legged on an altar built from white bones.

Their bones were as black as ink, emitting an aura of decay, and their eyes flickered with eerie green ghost fire, as if they were messengers from Hell.

If not for the flickering ghost fire, they might have been mistaken for a pile of dead objects.

The Rotten Bone Clan came in various forms: some resembled fierce tigers, some looked like giant dogs, and others were humanoid.

They had no flesh and blood, only cold bones, and their eyes burned with eerie green ghost fire.

Similarly, the Rotten Bone Clan had no reproductive capabilities, yet their numbers never dwindled. The secrets behind this were rarely known to outsiders.

“According to intelligence from below, a force called the Netherworld Dynasty suddenly emerged in the southern Ghost Spirit Dao Province. In just a few months, they occupied dozens of nearby Dao Provinces!”

A Rotten Bone Clan Elder, shaped like a tiger, spoke. His voice was hoarse and deep, as if coming from the depths of Hell.

“What? Are the people of these Dao Provinces just freeloaders?”

At the head of the gathering, a powerful, humanoid Rotten Bone Clan Supreme spoke coldly.

His bones were even blacker than the others, and the ghost fire in his eyes flickered with a terrifying cold light. He was the Clan Chief of the Rotten Bone Clan and the Realm Lord of this Heaven Realm, known as the Black Bone Realm Lord.

“Freeloaders? Isn’t that what the Human Race eats?”

Just then, a Rotten Bone Clan Elder, shaped like a dog, mumbled softly from below.

Although his voice was low, the other Elders present heard him clearly.

As soon as these words were uttered, the entire scene fell into a deathly silence.

The neighboring Rotten Bone Clan Elders instinctively shifted their bodies, moving away from the dog-shaped Elder, as if fearing implication.

“Bang!”

The next moment, the dog-shaped Elder’s bones suddenly exploded, scattering everywhere.

It was the Black Bone Realm Lord who had acted. He was already furious about the Netherworld Dynasty, and this dog-shaped Elder had been so loose-tongued at such a time, practically seeking his own death.

“Crack, crack, crack!”

The scattered bones, under the pull of some power, quickly flew back, re-coalescing and returning to their original state.

The powerhouses of the Rotten Bone Clan were not surprised by this. After all, once one reached the Transcendent Realm, as long as the Dao Soul remained intact, the Physical Body could recover in an instant.

After recovering, the dog-shaped Elder cowered, his eerie green ghost fire flickering erratically. He clearly knew he had spoken out of turn and dared not utter another sound.

However, the Black Bone Realm Lord had no intention of letting him off the hook.

“Quan Gu, you go! Go to the Ghost Spirit Dao Province and destroy that Netherworld Dynasty!”

The Black Bone Realm Lord’s voice was cold and authoritative, carrying an undeniable command.

The Netherworld Dynasty had launched a war without the Rotten Bone Clan’s permission, even killing the people he had sent to manage the various Dao Provinces. This clearly showed they did not put the Rotten Bone Clan in their eyes!

Upon hearing this, the ghost fire in the dog-shaped Elder’s eyes flickered slightly, clearly unwilling, but he knew that the Black Bone Realm Lord’s command could not be defied, so he could only bite the bullet and accept the task.

“Yes, Clan Chief.”

The dog-shaped Elder replied in a low voice, with a hint of helplessness and bitterness.

He slowly stood up, his bones making a “crack, crack” sound, then turned and left the altar.

The Black Bone Realm Lord watched Quan Gu’s departing back coldly, the ghost fire in his eyes flickering with a chilling light.

“Netherworld Dynasty… I want to see what capabilities you truly possess, to dare act so brazenly on my Rotten Bone Clan’s territory!”

His voice was as biting as a cold wind, causing the other Elders present to shiver involuntarily.

Ghost Spirit Dao Province!

Since the Netherworld Dynasty swiftly annihilated the ghost Dao forces of the Ghost Spirit Dao Province, this once chaotic land had completely become the territory of the Netherworld Dynasty.

Not only that, but in just a few months, the Netherworld Dynasty’s influence spread like wildfire, bringing all forty-three surrounding Dao Provinces under its command.

Today’s Netherworld Dynasty was no longer what it once was.

A few months ago, the Imperial Dynasty only had over a hundred Ghost Generals in the Dao Severing Early Stage. Although their strength was considerable, it was not enough to sweep across all directions. [Note: Ghost Kings in Chapter 374 have been changed to Ghost Generals!]

However, with the expansion of its territory and the accumulation of resources, the Netherworld Dynasty’s strength grew at an astonishing rate. Now, the number of Ghost Generals within the Imperial Dynasty exceeded a thousand, and its subordinate Ghost Soldiers and Ghost Generals in the Emperor Realm numbered over a hundred million.

The only regret was that despite the continuous supply of resources from the forty-three Dao Provinces, the Netherworld Dynasty had yet to produce a Ghost Lord at the Dao Master level.

Nevertheless, there were already over sixty Ghost Generals in the Dao Severing Perfection within the Imperial Dynasty, just one step away from the Ghost Lord Realm.

These Ghost Generals now stood independently, becoming the backbone of the Netherworld Dynasty’s campaigns.

And at this moment, the Netherworld Dynasty’s army was advancing in four directions, continuing to push deeper into the Rotten Bone Heaven Realm.

The King of Hell’s objective was simple: to aggressively devour the territory of the Rotten Bone Heaven Realm, completely incorporating this land into the Netherworld Dynasty’s map, and using the power of an entire Heaven Realm to provide enough Ghost Generals for the Imperial Dynasty. [Note: This avatar will now be referred to by the name King of Hell!]

Wherever the Netherworld Dynasty’s army passed, ghost Qi surged, and eerie winds howled.

Their numbers seemed endless; as long as energy stones were sufficient, the Netherworld Dynasty could continuously create new Yin Soldiers. And as long as the core of these Yin Soldiers was not destroyed, they could recover in a short time and re-enter battle.

Under this advance, resources from the forty-three Dao Provinces were continuously transported to the front lines, supporting the Netherworld Dynasty’s campaigns.

And when a Dao Province was occupied, any forces that did not immediately submit would be swiftly annihilated by the army. All captives would be transported to the Imperial Dynasty, rapidly transformed into the Netherworld Dynasty’s strength, becoming the foundation for their continued conquests.

At this moment!

Above the Ghost Spirit Dao Province, dark clouds gathered, and ghost Qi surged, while below, the sounds of battle shook the heavens.

“Kill!”

The Ghost Generals of the Netherworld Dynasty, clad in blood-red armor, stood at the forefront of the army, their voices like the roar of Hell, echoing through the sky.

Behind them, countless Imperial Dynasty soldiers in eerie green armor, led by Ghost Generals in pale white armor, surged forward like a tide, overwhelming everything. Wherever they passed, ghost Qi surged, and eerie winds howled.

Countless Imperial Dynasty soldiers wielded decaying weapons, their eyes burning with eerie green ghost fire, as if to devour the entire Dao Province.

The Ghost Spirit Dao Province was the territory of the Gui Ling Zu (Ghost Spirit Race), and they had a very strong control over it. However, in front of the Netherworld Dynasty’s army, they appeared so fragile.

In just half a month, thousands of cities under their jurisdiction were overthrown one after another by the Yin Soldiers’ offensive. Now, only their ancestral land, this last city, was stubbornly resisting.

But now, the defensive Formations on the city walls were already shattered, and countless Gui Ling Zu (Ghost Spirit Race) warriors turned to ashes under the Yin Soldiers’ blades.
