511: The identity of the ancestor of Beiyin

The Ancestor of Bei Yin lightly raised his finger, and Chaos Qi surged like a living entity, condensing before him into an ancient cushion and a crystal jade table.

On the jade table, a faint nether light suddenly swirled.

With a flip of his palm, he produced a jet-black teapot, its body inscribed with ancient Netherworld patterns, and from its spout, the faint wails of wronged souls could be heard.

"This tea is picked from the Yellow Springs' other shore."

The Ancestor of Bei Yin spoke in a hoarse voice, lightly tapping the teapot with his fingertip. Instantly, a wisp of turbid Yellow Springs water was drawn from the Void Realm and poured into the pot.

The water was the color of blood, yet it shimmered with an eerie golden light.

"Whoosh—"

A pale white ghost fire suddenly ignited at the bottom of the pot, and within the flames, countless struggling faces could vaguely be seen.

The Ancestor of Bei Yin unhurriedly took out a blood-colored tea leaf, shaped like a skull, emitting a chilling aura of death.

"Nine Nether Soul Tea, ripe once every hundred eras."

He dropped the tea leaf into the pot. In an instant, a shrill shriek emanated from within the pot. The tea liquid transformed from turbid to clear, finally becoming a translucent golden like amber, emitting a peculiar fragrant aroma.

The King of Hell sat quietly on the cushion, his eyes, beneath the twelve-stringed crown, slightly narrowed: "Using resentful souls as fuel and Yellow Springs as water, this indeed is the style of the Netherworld."

The Ancestor of Bei Yin chuckled, waving his finger lightly. Two white bone teacups landed on the table.

As the tea was poured, Reincarnation phantoms appeared in the cups.

One cup manifested the scene of sentient beings passing into the next life;

The other cup reflected the image of sentient beings' annihilation.

"Please."

The Ancestor of Bei Yin gestured with a raised hand, then was the first to pick up his teacup and drink it all.

The King of Hell held the cup and lightly sniffed. The tea's aroma entered his soul, causing even his long-unmoved Netherworld authority to ripple.

The moment he finished drinking, billions of living beings' birth and death flashed through his eyes.

"Good tea."

He tilted his head back and drank it all. Behind him, the faint phantom of the Six Paths of Reincarnation Disc emerged. The extreme death intent contained within the tea liquid instead stimulated the purest Netherworld Origin within his body.

Beneath the jade table, Chaos surged.

Within the teacups, Reincarnation arose and perished.

"You wanted to make a deal with me back then, you wanted me to bring Reincarnation back, didn't you?"

The King of Hell asked with a smile.

"It seems you already know my past?" the Ancestor of Bei Yin asked.

The King of Hell smiled but did not answer!

The Ancestor of Bei Yin, an indigenous deity of the Netherworld, and one of the most ancient existences in the Eternal Dao Realm. During the Nine Heavens Era, his status was second only to the Lord of the Underworld!

This was the understanding external beings had of the Ancestor of Bei Yin, but the Ancestor of Bei Yin's true Origins were quite significant.

Back then, Pan Huang opened up the Eternal Dao Realm, creating two sides of Yin and Yang. The Yang side was the Eternal Lower Realm and the Ancient Land of Dao, while the Yin side was the Netherworld.

However, the area of the Netherworld at that time was far more extensive than it is now. Apart from the ten existing Ghost Realms, the deepest layers of the abyss also contained territories of the Netherworld.

Dark Heaven, one of the Nine Heavens, originated from the Netherworld. Dark Heaven was born from the Yin Realm's Netherworld, thus becoming the Lord of the Underworld. But he did not manage affairs, instead entrusting the Underworld to a native deity of the Netherworld born in the same period—the Netherworld Mother.

She was an extremely ancient existence, a powerful Four-Step Dao Ancestor, born from the Reincarnation of the Yin Realm.

However, the great war of the Extinction Era was not supposed to affect the Underworld, but the Underworld chose to participate. In that battle, the Netherworld Mother disappeared, and Reincarnation was sealed ever since.

Afterward, the Ancestor of Bei Yin appeared, occupying Fengdu Ghost City and becoming the uncrowned king of the Netherworld.

Who would have thought that this Ancestor of Bei Yin was actually the Netherworld Mother's Dao Companion—Emperor Bei Yin Fengdu, a Four-Step Dao Ancestor.

Fengdu Ghost City was named after him!

The Ancestor of Bei Yin also participated in the Extinction War.

In that battle, he too met the fate of his ancestral body collapsing. His Dao Soul narrowly escaped back to the Netherworld, cultivating again to the Half-Ancestor Rank.

Currently, he has been slow to Breakthrough, merely accumulating his foundation. These years, he has been collecting his collapsed ancestral body from back then. Once he refines the ancestral body and utilizes the power of the Six Paths of Reincarnation Disc, he can restore his peak state.

Back then, the System Rank was limited, only providing Xu Qing with partial information, but now that it had advanced to an Ancestor-Rank System, the Ancestor of Bei Yin was no longer a secret.

And the deal the Ancestor of Bei Yin wanted to make with him back then was to help him find the Six Paths of Reincarnation Disc.

Only by finding the Six Paths of Reincarnation Disc could Reincarnation be opened, could the Netherworld Mother, sealed within Reincarnation, return, and could the Netherworld regain all its authority, becoming the Yin Realm of Reincarnation and rebirth.

Tea smoke curled on the jade table, outlining past scenes in the Chaos.

The Netherworld patterns on the Ancestor of Bei Yin's black robe moved like living things, and the dark beads hanging from his imperial crown obscured his heterochromatic pupils, which contained the Six Paths of Reincarnation.

"It seems you've known all these years!" The Ancestor of Bei Yin lightly tapped the jade table with his fingertip. As his six-colored pupils swirled, they reflected six phantoms. "Then do you know—"

The tea liquid suddenly boiled, revealing an image of a shattered Reincarnation Disc.

"In that great war, why did the Underworld, which could have remained neutral, choose to participate? And why did it join the Heavenly Court's camp?"

"Reincarnation!" the King of Hell said calmly.

"Exactly!"

The Ancestor of Bei Yin nodded.

The authority of Reincarnation is very strong; even a Half-Ancestor cannot escape it. Don't underestimate the power of Transcendent beings, but once they drink the Muddy Soup and are sent into Reincarnation, that person no longer exists in the world, but rather another person.

Because the Six Paths of Reincarnation Disc is a Half-Step Beyond Dao Weapon, and the Muddy Soup it produces is formed from a Dominator-level Reincarnation Dao. Below a Dao Ancestor, no one can resist it; even some Dao Ancestors who have not yet condensed their present body might fall victim!

Back then, the Heavenly Court used the authority of Reincarnation to reincarnate powerful Geniuses from various races into Heavenly Court members. This was one of the catalysts for the Extinction Era.

The Netherworld Mother's participation in the war also had an obvious purpose: if the Heavenly Court were destroyed, the Underworld, wielding the authority of Reincarnation, would not escape the reckoning of all races.

Therefore, the Netherworld Mother chose to participate in the war.

"There's one more thing you might not know!"

The Ancestor of Bei Yin suddenly laughed.

"Oh?"

The King of Hell gazed at the opponent's heterochromatic pupils, which symbolized the authority of the Six Paths, and then chuckled: "Because what's sealed in the Reincarnation Disc has never been just the Netherworld Mother?"

The Chaos space suddenly solidified.

The Ancestor of Bei Yin's knuckles turned white, and fine cracks appeared on the surface of the jade table.

"You even knew that..." His six-colored pupils contracted violently.

"Many things are no longer secrets to me!" The King of Hell stroked the edge of the teacup. "That person, when suppressing a great enemy back then, sealed one of them into the Six Paths of Reincarnation Disc."

"After that great war, Dark Heaven, this strong individual born from the Luck of the Yin Realm, was severely wounded and went into hiding. The will of the Yin Realm has been hidden ever since."

"If the Six Paths were to restart now, that person would likely awaken before the Netherworld Mother."

The Ancestor of Bei Yin suddenly burst into laughter, the dark beads of his imperial crown colliding violently.

As he laughed, blood tears flowed from his six-colored pupils: "So she'd rather Seal Reincarnation forever? Rather watch the Netherworld turn into this ghostly state it's in now?"

The King of Hell watched as the boiling tea water calmed down, once again reflecting the scene of Fengdu Ghost City: "So you should understand, this Dominator will not agree to your deal."

"Not enough?" The Ancestor of Bei Yin suddenly leaned forward, his six-colored pupils staring directly at the King of Hell. "Tell me! What price do you need me to pay?"

"I don't want to die!"

Amidst the twisting tea smoke, the King of Hell's figure suddenly became ethereal for a moment.

Upon hearing this, the Ancestor of Bei Yin took a deep breath, stood up abruptly, his imperial robes fluttering, "Do you know where the Six Paths of Reincarnation Disc is?"
