147: Chapter 147 Shadows Deliver Intelligence? Rebellion Hides a Hidden Plan

In the side hall, the Sea Race messenger had just withdrawn, and a hint of moist sea air still lingered in the atmosphere.

Outside the door, Chi Lie remained kneeling, the dragon qi on the crimson Dragon Letter in his hand churning restlessly.

Right then.

An extremely faint, cold shadow aura silently slid in along the palace walls.

There were no footsteps.

There was no sound of wind.

Like a smear of black shadow, it seemed to peel directly out of the night.

The guards outside the hall turned pale and were about to draw their blades when Lin Zhe spoke indifferently, "Let him in."

The hall doors opened soundlessly.

A person wrapped in a black cloak walked in.

It was Shadow Seven.

As soon as he entered, he immediately dropped to one knee, his head bowed low. "Your subordinate Shadow Seven, by order of Pavilion Master Pavilion Master Ye Ling, delivers top-secret intelligence on the Dragon Domain."

Su Ninghua's gaze sharpened.

Chi Lie, kneeling outside, was already so anxious his scales were turning pale. Upon hearing the words 'top-secret intelligence on the Dragon Domain,' his entire body tensed up.

Lin Zhe leaned back in his chair, his expression unchanged. "Speak."

Shadow Seven raised a black Obsidian Scroll with both hands.

The surface of the scroll was wrapped in dense Shadow Lock Patterns, and a faint wisp of dark purple aura could be seen wandering through them.

"The Pavilion Master investigated this intelligence for seven days."

"The Dragon Domain Rebel Elders have long been in collusion with the remnants of the Heavenly Realm Opposition."

"On the surface, it's internal strife within the Dragon Race, but someone has been sending them items behind the scenes."

Shadow Seven's voice was low, yet every word was clear.

"What was sent wasn't just information."

"There were also manufacturing blueprints for dark dragon flame bombs, core material ratios, and the deployment methods for the Dark Seal Array used to suppress the Power of Rules."

As these words fell.

The side hall instantly fell silent.

Su Ninghua's expression immediately turned cold. "The Heavenly Realm Opposition again."

Lin Zhe's eyes turned slightly cold as he tapped his fingertips lightly on the tabletop. "Continue."

Shadow Seven immediately unfurled the scroll.

Hum—

A black light screen spread out, transforming directly into a map of the Dragon Domain's borders.

Over a dozen dark red light points were densely marked upon it.

"These are the locations of the Dark Seal Arrays."

"There are nine in total, divided into three layers, positioned at the Dragon Domain border and the outskirts of Black Wind Valley."

"Once all the seal arrays are activated, they will form a suppression field specifically designed to weaken the penetration speed of the Power of Rules."

"If one enters recklessly without knowing the locations beforehand, their power will be slowed down layer by layer."

Chi Lie's face changed as he listened.

"No wonder..."

"No wonder when Her Majesty led troops to charge the formations several times before, it felt like crashing into a swamp, and the circulation of Dragon Power was suppressed!"

Shadow Seven did not stop, tapping his finger again.

On the other side of the map, five even brighter black dots emerged.

"These five locations are the storage sites for the dark dragon flame bombs."

"According to the records found by the Shadow Pavilion, the Rebel Elders currently have at least fifty dark dragon flame bombs in their possession."

"Fifty bombs."

"Enough power to level half a city."

Chi Lie's pupils shrank violently, his voice turning hoarse. "Fifty?!"

Shadow Seven nodded. "Only more, not less."

"Twenty of them are hidden in the abandoned mine north of Black Wind Valley."

"Twelve are scattered across three secret armories."

"The rest are kept close by the Rebel Elders to be used for a final reversal."

He swiped his finger again.

A series of finer annotations immediately popped up on the light screen.

Mine entrances, armory compartments, underground transport passages, guard rotation times—everything was crystal clear.

Even the names of the leaders responsible for guarding the Dragon Flame Bombs were marked.

Su Ninghua looked at the intelligence, her gaze growing colder. "The Heavenly Realm Opposition has certainly been thorough with what they've given."

Shadow Seven continued, "That's not all."

He took out a sheet of black paper as thin as a cicada's wing from his sleeve.

"This is the communication code used between the Rebel Elders and the remnants of the Opposition."

"In their usual messages, they don't use real names or events; they only use substitute terms."

"For example, 'Old Scales' refers to the Rebel Elders, 'White Feather' refers to the Heavenly Realm Opposition, 'Thunderfire' refers to the dark dragon flame bombs, and 'Black Curtain' refers to the seal arrays."

The black paper was unfurled.

Rows of coded messages were neatly arranged upon it.

Old Scales activates Black Curtain thrice.

White Feather sends Thunderfire again.

Valley entrance locks light.

Northern mine sinks crates.

Chi Lie felt a chill run down his back as he looked.

These bastards clearly hadn't done this on a whim.

They had been preparing these back-up plans for a long time.

If Lin Zhe had charged in without knowing the details, he would have first been suppressed by the seal arrays and then bombarded by the Dragon Flame Bombs. Even if he didn't suffer a major loss, his rhythm would have definitely been disrupted.

Shadow Seven bowed his head and said, "The Pavilion Master said that this intelligence is sent only so that Mister may be prepared in advance."

"The Dragon Domain rebellion appears chaotic on the surface, but in reality, there are many hidden moves."

"Now that their trump cards are exposed, the risk can be reduced by at least half."

The side hall was quiet for a few breaths.

Lin Zhe looked at the map, his expression indifferent.

But the rule patterns in the depths of his eyes had slowly begun to glow.

With just a glance, he knew Shadow Seven wasn't lying.

Those coordinates, those codes, and those armory locations all matched up.

This intelligence was indeed significant.

With it, many of the hidden thorns in the Dragon Domain were essentially halfway pulled out in advance.

Chi Lie almost wanted to kowtow to Shadow Seven right then and there.

Kneeling outside the palace gates all this way, his greatest fear was that Lin Zhe would only discover the rebels' more ruthless hidden weapons after entering the Dragon Domain.

Now that the intelligence had arrived first, many fatal traps could at least be avoided.

Lin Zhe withdrew his gaze and spoke indifferently, "Pavilion Master Ye Ling did well this time."

Shadow Seven immediately bowed his head. "The Pavilion Master only wishes to share Mister's burdens."

Lin Zhe raised his hand.

A wisp of pale gold Power of Rules fell from his fingertip, directly enveloping Shadow Seven.

Hum—

A flash of light occurred.

A layer of pale gold patterns instantly lit up on Shadow Seven's body before slowly fading away.

"This is a permanent buff."

"All attributes increased by 10%."

"Consider it a return gift."

Shadow Seven's entire body jolted.

He could clearly feel his strength, speed, and perception all being raised by a notch in an instant.

Even several old internal injuries hidden in his body were silently smoothed away.

Wild joy instantly surged in his eyes as he bowed deeply. "Thank you, Mister!"

Almost simultaneously, the system notification sounded in Lin Zhe's mind.

[Ding! Detected that top-tier female NPC Shadow Pavilion Master Pavilion Master Ye Ling's favorability toward the host has increased to 25!]

[Eighth Bond trigger progress increased to 5%!]

Lin Zhe's eyes moved slightly.

The Shadow line had moved another step forward.

Su Ninghua looked at the Dragon Domain map, her voice as cold as ice. "The Heavenly Realm Opposition really is persistent."

"First they sent sealing scrolls to the Remnants of the Three Clans, and now they're sending Dragon Flame Bomb blueprints to the Dragon Domain rebels."

Lin Zhe said indifferently, "They won't be jumping around for much longer."

The sentence was very flat.

Yet it caused a tremor in Chi Lie's back.

Shadow Seven also kept his head down, not daring to say more.

His mission delivered, he immediately took out an even smaller Shadow Jade Piece from his sleeve and placed it down respectfully. "Mister, inside this are supplementary records of the patrols outside the seal arrays, as well as traces of secret agent movements from the past three days."

"If there is any new information later, the Shadow Pavilion will deliver it at the first opportunity."

Lin Zhe gave a hum of affirmation.

Shadow Seven did not dare to linger. After bowing again, his figure flickered and merged back into the night outside the hall.

He had come silently.

He left just as soundlessly.

The side hall fell silent once more.

The Obsidian Scroll on the table remained open, the dark red coordinates on the Dragon Domain map like nails driven into the border line.

Chi Lie, kneeling at the door, looked at the intelligence, and the weight pressing on his heart finally eased significantly.

He knew very well.

With these things, many of the traps that would have originally cost lives were no longer traps.

At the very least, Lin Zhe would no longer be walking in blindfolded.

Lin Zhe's fingertips lightly tapped the tabletop as he indifferently looked up at the churning crimson dragon qi outside the door.

"Now, tell me about your Dragon Domain."
