90: Chapter 90: Re-signing of the Ocean Convention – Only When the Dragon Nation Says It's Okay Does It Count

"Destroy the portal? Commander-in-Chief, just you watch!"

General General Li Yunlong's roar exploded in the deep-sea communication channel. There wasn't a trace of fear in his voice; instead, it was filled with a supreme fighting spirit for the upcoming duel with a powerful enemy.

"Brothers! Did you hear that? That bird-man wants to open the door and let the dogs in!"

"Give it everything you've got! Throw every plasma grenade and high-explosive torpedo we have at that broken door!"

"We absolutely cannot let a single alien fly into our backyard!"

"Yes, sir!"

A thousand Dragon Whale members roared in unison, their voices turning into rolling thunder in the deep sea.

The shocking killing intent they instantly erupted with even caused the surrounding modified deep-sea monsters to instinctively feel fear, causing their offensive to stall.

In the next second, a thousand blue figures, like blue lightning striking upstream, formed an invincible arrow of death. They forcibly tore through the defensive line of countless monsters and charged straight for the massive altar emitting an ominous purple light!

However, the Silver-Armored Envoy simply stood there quietly, watching it all as if watching a farcical play that had nothing to do with him.

He slowly raised a hand, fingers spread wide, and lightly clenched his fist toward General General Li Yunlong, who was charging at the very front.

"Buzz—!"

In an instant, the seawater surrounding General General Li Yunlong seemed to turn into solid crystal!

An invisible and peerless force squeezed in from all directions. Even the Dragon Scale combat suit he wore, capable of resisting tens of thousands of tons of water pressure, let out a tooth-aching screech!

"Spatial Imprisonment?"

On the bridge of the dinghai-class warship, Lin Yun's expression instantly became incredibly grave.

This Silver-Armored Envoy could actually manipulate the laws of space with his bare hands! His strength was several times greater than the one they had encountered on the far side of the moon!

"Old Li!"

"General!"

Seeing that General General Li Yunlong was about to be crushed into a pulp by that invisible force field, the Dragon Whale members behind him turned red-eyed. They recklessly cranked their plasma weapons to maximum power and fired frantically at the Silver-Armored Envoy.

But all the plasma beams, upon reaching within three meters of the Silver-Armored Envoy's body, seemed to enter a void black hole. They disappeared without a trace, failing to stir even a single ripple.

"It is useless." The Silver-Armored Envoy's cold divine sense rang out directly in everyone's minds. "Within my Lord's divine domain, you lowly carbon-based organisms are less than dust."

"Your laws of physics are invalid here."

He seemed to enjoy this cat-and-mouse pleasure. As his palm slowly tightened, fine cracks began to appear on the surface of General General Li Yunlong's combat suit.

However, at this critical moment...

Lin Yun's voice rang out coldly on the bridge of the dinghai-class warship.

"Is that so?"

"Since when was it your turn to declare things invalid on my turf?"

He slammed his hand onto the console in front of him. A virtual interface that only he could see popped up, displaying the delicate little face of his recently born eighth son.

"Son, let me borrow some of your power!"

With a thought from Lin Yun, the S-grade talent representing 'Absolute Sea Power' was instantly activated through the quantum entanglement network!

Boom!

In the deepest part of the Mariana Trench, that area of space the Silver-Armored Envoy called a 'Divine Domain' suddenly and without warning... rioted!

The water elements throughout the seabed seemed to gain independent consciousness in an instant. They no longer obeyed the Silver-Armored Envoy's spatial laws. Instead, as if seeing their true sovereign, they began to converge frantically toward General General Li Yunlong's body!

That previously indestructible spatial imprisonment, when faced with the purest maritime laws originating from the planet's very essence, was instantly crushed like wet paper!

Pfft—!

The Silver-Armored Envoy was struck as if by lightning, his body trembling violently. An imperceptible crack actually appeared on the silver armor covering his body!

For the first time, a look of disbelief appeared in his arrogant eyes.

"An incarnation of the maritime laws? How is that possible! How could a being of this level be born on such a low-level planet!"

He couldn't understand it.

But he no longer had time to think.

Because General General Li Yunlong, now freed, and the thousand Dragon Whale members behind him had already poured all their fury toward the slowly opening portal!

"Blow it... up!"

A thousand specially modified 'Dragon King' high-explosive torpedoes, containing terrifying plasma energy, trailed long wakes and formed an airtight barrage of death, slamming hard into the purple portal!

There was no earth-shattering explosion.

Only a flash of... extreme white light.

When the light dissipated...

The portal connecting to the alternate dimension, along with the massive altar and the Silver-Armored Envoy who hadn't even had time to recover from his shock, were all wiped clean in that 'annihilation' storm triggered by pure energy. Not a single atom remained.

The Moon Gate fleet behind the portal also seemed to suffer a massive backlash due to the sudden collapse of the channel, exploding into a series of brilliant 'fireworks' in that deep expanse of space.

Was the crisis resolved?

No, Lin Yun knew this was only the beginning.

Through the final images sent back by the Dragon Whale unit and the unwilling gaze of the Silver-Armored Envoy before his death, he had seen through everything.

This portal was just a 'sub-base'.

The Moon Gate definitely had other, even more hidden invasion channels in the universe!

Earth was still far from being able to rest easy.

"Dragon Whale unit, return immediately," Lin Yun ordered.

He knew that the upcoming battlefield was no longer something that could be resolved by pure force alone.

He needed to... integrate the power of the entire planet.

One day later.

Inside the giant convention center of the luan bird no. 1 aerospace carrier, which could accommodate a hundred thousand people.

A meeting that would decide the future fate of humanity was being held.

Lin Yun sat in the primary seat.

Seated below him were the 'former' heads of state from all countries and regions around the world. They were 'former' heads because, the moment they boarded this city in the sky, they had been forcibly stripped of all national administrative authority by Nuwa.

At this moment, they were only participating in this 'hearing' presided over by Lin Yun as 'representatives' of their respective civilizations.

The atmosphere in the venue was terrifyingly oppressive.

Everyone looked uneasily at the excessively young man in the primary seat. They knew that a single word from this man could determine the future of the billions of people they represented.

Lin Yun didn't waste any words. He simply had Nuwa make public the recording of yesterday's battle in the ten-thousand-meter deep sea, as well as all intelligence analysis regarding the Moon Gate.

When they saw that Silver-Armored Envoy imprisoning space with his bare hands and saw that world-destroying portal, all the representatives turned pale with fright.

They finally understood what kind of terrifying enemy they were facing—one that surpassed their scope of understanding.

And when they saw the Dragon Whale unit destroying everything with thunderous momentum, that fear transformed into... awe for the Dragon Kingdom's absolute power.

"Everyone."

Lin Yun finally spoke. His voice wasn't loud, yet it reached everyone's ears clearly.

"You have all seen the current situation."

"The main alien fleet could descend upon Earth at any time through channels we don't yet know about."

"Are you going to fight them with those fire-stick weapons in your hands?"

Lin Yun shook his head dismissively.

"I don't want to waste time discussing national sovereignty or geopolitics."

"From today onward, Earth's civilization will have only one voice, and that is the voice of the Dragon Kingdom."

He stood up and walked to the massive holographic globe.

"Effective immediately, all international conventions of the old era are abolished."

"We shall re-sign the 'Earth Civilization Community Defense and Resource Unification Act'."

"Referred to in short as—the New Ocean Convention."

Lin Yun's finger lightly brushed across the azure oceans.

"The contents of this convention are simple."

"First: All global ocean, sky, and even outer space resources belong entirely to the Earth Civilization Community, to be uniformly allocated by the Supreme Committee represented by the Dragon Kingdom."

"Second: All nations must immediately disband their own armies and reorganize them into the 'Civilization Guardian Army', accepting the unified command and modification of the Dragon Kingdom's military. Those who perform excellently can obtain slots for 'Super Soldier' modification."

"Third: All nations must open their entire scientific and technological databases and integrate them with the Dragon Kingdom's 'Nuwa' system, sharing all technology and working together to resist the alien threat."

"Of course, in return," Lin Yun's tone shifted, "all nations that sign this convention will receive access to the 'Controlled Nuclear Fusion' energy network provided by the Dragon Kingdom, the right to use 'Nano-Medical Pods' for civilian purposes, and... in the future era of interstellar colonization, the priority lottery rights for a colonial planet belonging to their own ethnic group."

As soon as these words were spoken, the entire venue was in an uproar!

The first three points were practically predatory terms, forcing all nations to completely abandon their sovereignty and become vassals of the Dragon Kingdom.

But that last point, the 'pie in the sky' he painted, was so sweet that no one could refuse it!

The era of interstellar colonization? A colonial planet belonging to one's own ethnic group?

What a magnificent and tempting blueprint!

The Governor of Texas, Robert, was the first to stand up. His face, which had been full of shrewdness and calculation, was now covered in a fawning smile.

"I... on behalf of the Free State of Texas, am the first to agree to sign this con...vention! We resolutely uphold the Earth Civilization Supreme Committee with Mr. Lin as its core!"

With the first, there was a second, a third...

In the face of an absolute strength gap and an irresistible future temptation, so-called national dignity was as fragile as glass.

Looking at the 'former' heads of state below who were scrambling to press their handprints on the electronic signing boards, Lin Yun's face showed no emotion.

He simply turned his head and looked out the window at the deep starry sky.

He knew this was only the first step of a long march.

Subduing Earth was only to better prepare for the true challenges coming from the sea of stars.

However, right then, his private communicator suddenly emitted a series of urgent alarms.

After connecting, Xiao Zhang's panicked voice came through.

"Lin... Brother Lin! This is bad!"

"The moon... that 'door' on the far side of the moon has... opened again!"

"And this time, the one who walked out isn't some envoy..."

"It's... it's a woman!"

"A woman... who claims to be the mother of your ninth child!"
