Chu Yixing's eyes turned cold, and with a light flick of his green lotus immortal sword, an arc-shaped sword qi crossed the city wall, instantly slaying three visible Shadow Assassins.

Qingxiao also roared, and although it was still a Qilin Cub, the might of a divine beast was already evident, as a blazing white flame erupted, incinerating another Shadow Assassin.

Han Ruoxue immediately cast a Moonlight Barrier, covering the area where the healing team was located, to prevent subsequent sneak attacks.

Ji Linghan and the ranged team focused on dealing with the Demonic Blood Behemoths below the city, unleashing various skills, but the behemoths had tough hides and thick flesh, so the effects were limited.

"We need armor-piercing attacks!" Ji Linghan shouted.

Xu Bai nodded, waving his bone staff to summon a giant Abyssal Digger that burrowed directly from beneath the city wall, coiling around a Demonic Blood Behemoth.

The Digger's acidic fluid corroded the behemoth's skin, causing it to let out a painful roar.

Upon seeing this, Yu Yue immediately organized an elite squad specifically to deal with the Shadow Assassins that suddenly appeared on the city wall.

Raining of Clarity and Han Ruoxue, meanwhile, directed the healing and support teams to retreat to a safer position, while not forgetting to provide support to the front lines.

This wave of combat was exceptionally brutal; the impact of the Demonic Blood Behemoths caused casualties among the front-line warriors, and the Shadow Assassins' sneak attacks resulted in heavy losses for support-class professionals.

When the fourth wave was finally repelled, Chu Yixing looked at the casualty statistics with a solemn expression: 10 dead, 23 severely wounded, temporarily out of combat.

Four consecutive waves of attacks had been repelled, and the monster corpses had piled up into a small slope beneath the city wall.

The professionals were growing tired, and the healers' magic power was severely depleted.

"Captain Raining of Clarity, Ruo Xue, how are the healing and support teams doing?" Chu Yixing asked.

Raining of Clarity wiped the blood from his forehead: "Four dead, entering the resurrection cooldown, five severely wounded, temporarily unable to participate in combat."

Chu Yixing took a deep breath: "Re-form teams! All ranged professions are divided into ground-to-ground and ground-to-air groups.

Yu Yue, take your men to reinforce the weak points of the city wall.

Ruo Xue, conserve the energy of the Moon Spear, prepare to deal with aerial threats."

As Chu Yixing's words fell, swarms of dark flying creatures swooped down from the clouds: Level 40 Plague Bats, Level 45 Gargoyles, and even a few Level 50 Wyverns among them.

"Anti-air preparations!" Chu Yixing finally made his move, his green lotus immortal sword waving repeatedly, sending three streaks of sword qi soaring into the sky, instantly cutting down three Gargoyles.

"Ling Han, organize anti-air firepower.

Han Ruoxue, prepare the Moon Spear.

Yu Yue, Holy Light Barrier!"

"Anti-air team, prepare!" Ji Linghan commanded, his Thunder had already flown into the sky, engaging several Gargoyles in battle.

Ji Linghan waved his war hammer, summoning a Thundercloud Storm, as Thunder weaved through the clouds, precisely striking the flying monsters.

The Thunder Eagle soared freely in the thunderclouds, each cry drawing down a bolt of lightning.

Han Ruoxue raised her scepter high, Moonlight condensing into a sharp spear: "Spear of Moonlight, pierce!"

A spear formed of Moonlight shot into the sky, piercing through more than a dozen flying monsters before exploding with a roar, clearing an area, but new flying monsters quickly filled the void.

Xu Bai summoned a swarm of Putrid Flies, entangling them with the Plague Bats.

Shadow Claw vigilantly guarded his master, ready to pounce on any stragglers that broke through the defense line.

The ground also faced immense pressure.

The Cave Giants, standing five meters tall, made the earth tremble with every step; the huge rocks thrown by the Rock Trolls continuously struck the melee defense line beneath the city wall, while the Hellfire Elementals mixed among them directly unleashed fire elemental attacks, attempting to tear open a breach in the defenses.

Yu Yue led the defense team, struggling to resist the ground assault; the light of Dawn Light was no longer as bright as it had been at the start, clearly indicating significant consumption.

The battle instantly entered a white-hot stage.

Huge rocks thrown by the Cave Giants slammed against the Holy Light Barrier, creating ripples; Plague Bats and Gargoyles swooped down, their sharp claws injuring many professionals who couldn't dodge in time.

Xu Bai once again summoned a giant Abyssal Bat to join the aerial battle, while continuously summoning imps to disrupt the ground enemies' offensive.

Shadow Claw still guarded his master, tearing at any enemy that tried to approach.

Qingxiao also attacked at Chu Yixing's signal; although the Qilin Cub was not high-level, its divine beast bloodline gave it immense presence.

It opened its mouth and spewed a stream of flame, forcing back a group of Gargoyles.

"Captain Chu, a breach has appeared in the right flank defense!" an anxious voice came.

Chu Yixing turned his head to see that the right flank's melee defense line had been torn open by Cave Giants and Rock Trolls, with monsters pouring through the gap, and other warriors were powerless to support.

"Yu Yue, I'll leave this to you!" Chu Yixing shouted, his figure flashing, already arriving at the breach.

The green lotus immortal sword danced, sword qi crisscrossing, instantly clearing out the surging monsters.

But more monsters were still coming.

"Xu Bai!" Chu Yixing shouted.

"Coming!" Xu Bai plunged his bone staff into the ground, exerting his full power, "Abyssal Gate, open!"

A giant black vortex appeared at the breach, its powerful suction pulling in nearby monsters.

But Xu Bai's face quickly paled; this move consumed a tremendous amount of energy.

Shadow Claw anxiously circled his master, then suddenly charged towards the breach, his body expanding several times.

Although it was still a Qilin Cub, the bloodline of a Shadow Hound allowed it to temporarily grow in size.

It guarded the breach, its sharp claws tearing apart any monster that tried to approach.

"Well done, Shadow Claw!" Xu Bai said with a weak smile, immediately beginning to replenish his energy.

Just then, a Gargoyle broke through the defense line and lunged straight for Xu Bai.

A flash of Moonlight, and Han Ruoxue's Moon Spear accurately pierced the Gargoyle.

Silver Pupil then pounced, completely finishing off the wounded Gargoyle.

"Thank you," Xu Bai said, gasping for breath.

Han Ruoxue nodded, waving her moon god scepter again, and Moonlight sprinkled over Xu Bai, alleviating his fatigue.

At the breach, Chu Yixing plunged his green lotus immortal sword into the ground: "Sword Array, rise!"

Countless sword qi surged out, forming a small sword array with a five-meter diameter, temporarily sealing the breach.

The fifth wave of attack lasted for a full hour, and when the last Cave Giant was shattered by Ji Linghan's lightning, the south wall and the area beneath the city wall were already covered with wounded.

Casualty statistics: twenty-three dead, fifty-seven severely wounded, countless lightly wounded.

The Dawn Squad's pets were also all injured; Dawn Light's healing ability was overdrawn, Silver Pupil's front paw was injured, Shadow Claw's body had multiple scratches, Thunder had lost many feathers, and even Qingxiao was limping on one leg.
