230: Snowball Offense and Defense Melee

Event Location: Exclusive event space 'Polar Canyon'.

Event Rules:

1. The scene is a huge ice and snow canyon running east to west, with a frozen river in the center. At each end of the canyon is a 'Faction Fortress' (Red Fortress and Blue Fortress).

2. All participating professionals will be randomly divided into two major factions: 'Red' and 'Blue,' and will compete as a faction.

3. Use 'Magic Snowballs' generated in the scene to attack members of the opposing faction.

4. Being directly hit by a snowball will accumulate 'Freeze Value.' When the Freeze Value is full (10 points), you will be forcibly frozen for 5 seconds, unable to move, and will lose a small amount of points. The frozen state can be Release by teammates using 'Warm-up Potion' (randomly refreshed in the scene) or specific dispel skills.

Point Rules:

1. Destroying the enemy fortress core: The faction that ultimately destroys the enemy fortress core will have all its members receive 1000 points.

2. Personal eliminations: For each enemy made to enter a frozen state with a snowball, 10 points are awarded.

3. Assists: Dealing damage to or providing crowd control against an enemy in a frozen state earns 2 points per assist.

4. Collecting 'Special Snowballs': Snowballs with special effects such as 'Explosion,' 'Tracking,' 'Slow,' and 'Area Freeze' will be randomly refreshed in the scene. Collecting and using them will grant additional point bonuses.

5. Occupying resource points: There are several 'Snowball Workshops' in the center of the canyon and on the ridges on both sides. Occupying them will provide a continuous supply of special snowballs for your faction, and members of the occupying squad will receive continuous points.

Special Mechanisms:

1. During the event, all offensive skills are ineffective against the professional's body (only effective against scene facilities or summoned creatures); the only effective attack method is 'Magic Snowballs.'

2. Pets can participate, but their attack methods are also restricted. They can assist in transporting snowballs, scouting, or using non-damaging crowd control skills to interfere.

3. Squad members are highly likely to be assigned to the same faction, but national members may be dispersed.

Friendly Reminder: Tactics, cooperation, terrain utilization, and the use of special snowballs are crucial.

The Polar Canyon ran east to west. Their Red Faction fortress was located on the east side, while a faint blue light was visible in the distance to the west—that was the Blue Faction fortress.

The icy river wound through the center of the canyon, with steep, snow-covered ridges on both sides.

Several clearly marked Snowball Workshops were scattered along the riverbank and on the ridges.

The Red Faction's public channel was already in chaos, with various commands, calls, and curses mixed together.

The five members of the Dawn Squad ignored the noise. With Yu Yue at the very front, they formed a tight wedge formation, like a sharp blade, and charged directly out of the fortress gate, cutting into the chaotic canyon battlefield.

As soon as they entered the main battlefield, snowballs flying all over the sky came at them.

Yu Yue roared. Although his greatshield couldn't completely block the snowballs, his massive body and precise footwork blocked most of the frontal attacks for his teammates behind him. His own Freeze Value slowly increased. Han Ruoxue immediately cast Moonlight Purification on him, slightly slowing the accumulation of Freeze Value.

Xu Bai tapped his bone staff repeatedly, summoning several swift-moving Imp. They clutched ordinary snowballs, squeaked, and charged towards the Blue Faction crowd, attracting a large amount of firepower. They were instantly smashed into several frozen statues before disappearing.
