49: Chapter 49 Symbiotic Pod Defense Functions

Behind them, several larger Mutant Cockroach Beasts and a few cat and dog Mutated Beasts with protruding fangs were in hot pursuit.

That old man, thinking himself clever, made a sharp turn and dove into the guard booth by the main gate, locking the door tight and cowering inside.

The pursuing beasts actually ignored him, continuing to roar as they chased after Sun Haoyu and the Property Manager.

There was nowhere to avoid, nowhere to hide.

As Sun Haoyu recovered from his shock, he roared at Shen Jiaojiao, "What are you whispering about with that piece of trash? Can't you see I was almost crushed to death, damn it?"
