64: Chapter 64 The Flower of the Great Dao

When Li Xuan arrived outside Zhilan Palace, a joyous announcement came from within.

"It's born! It's born! Congratulations, Your Ladyship, congratulations, it's a little prince!"

As the news spread, the maids and eunuchs waiting outside breathed a sigh of relief and smiled.

Compared to the previous few times, where the commotion was immense—either with Sword Qi piercing the sky or the Taiyin hanging in the void—this time, the sky above the Great Xia Imperial Palace seemed exceptionally calm.

The sky was unnaturally calm.

Li Xuan stepped slowly into the inner palace.

The scent of blood permeating the hall had already been cleared away by the maids using techniques, leaving only a faint aroma of calming incense.

Princess Su Zhiruo of the Yuhua Dynasty was currently reclining on the phoenix couch, her face somewhat pale, but her eyes gentle.

Beside her, in bright yellow swaddling clothes, the newborn infant lay quietly.

"Your Majesty..." Seeing Li Xuan, Su Zhiruo struggled to rise and salute, her voice filled with a weak joy.

"Lie down, don't move."

Li Xuan walked quickly to the bedside and sat down, gently taking her hand.

A stream of pure, gentle Chaos Qi was channeled into her body, and the fatigue from her labor quickly vanished.

Su Zhiruo's pale cheeks quickly regained their rosy color. She looked at Li Xuan gratefully, then turned her gaze toward the child in the swaddling clothes and said softly:

"Your Majesty, look at our child... he is a bit strange."

"Strange?"

Li Xuan looked at his fourth offspring.

This child was indeed unusual.

He did not cry or fuss, but simply kept his eyes open, curiously examining his surroundings.

Those eyes were not clouded like those of an ordinary newborn, but were clear and deep.

Looking closely, one could even discover that in the depths of his pupils, countless points of light were interweaving, resembling the most primitive array diagrams from when the heavens and earth first opened.

He lay quietly, seemingly sensing something.

A moment later, as if sensing his father's arrival, his tightly clenched little fist opened. He extended a chubby little hand and, as if playing, grabbed at the Void Realm above.

This should have been a meaningless instinctive action for an infant.

Yet in Li Xuan's eyes, he saw a completely different scene.

The moment the little prince reached out and grabbed, the Void Realm before him actually rippled.

Immediately after, strands of the Law of the Origin of Heaven and Earth were forcibly pulled out from the void.

There was the heavy and solid Law of Earth, the incomparably sharp Law of Metal, the vibrant Law of Wood... Yin and Yang, Five Elements, Space and Time... these supreme Laws, which are usually as difficult as ascending to heaven for a Saint to comprehend even a trace of, were now extremely docile, actively converging toward that little hand.

They intertwined and entangled with each other, rapidly condensing and taking shape.

Su Zhiruo and the surrounding maids and eunuchs watched in astonishment as a colorful "pinwheel," about the size of a palm and looking very much like a child's toy from the mortal world, appeared out of thin air above the little prince's palm.

This pinwheel was exceptionally magnificent, with seven "blades" displaying seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and violet. Inside each blade, there were scenes of galaxies being born and destroyed, and Dao runes floating and sinking.

It did not need wind, yet it spontaneously rotated slowly.

And with every rotation, it seemed to drive a certain rhythm of the heavens and earth.

The flow of Spiritual Qi, the refraction of light, and even the heartbeats of everyone present began to synchronize with its rotation frequency.

The pinwheel emitted a profound Dao rhythm.

A middle-aged maid serving nearby, whose cultivation had been stuck at the Peak of the Divine Treasury Realm for decades without any progress, felt her cultivation Bottleneck loosen instantly after just accidentally glancing at the pinwheel a few more times.

The surrounding Spiritual Qi gathered, and she actually broke through to the Cave-Heaven Realm on the spot!

She was stunned. Before she could feel the joy of the Breakthrough, she fell to her knees with a thud, kowtowing frantically toward the pinwheel, thinking she had witnessed a miracle.

As for Su Zhiruo, the mother, being connected by blood to the child, her perception was even more vivid.

She only felt that, enveloped by this Dao rhythm, a hidden injury from her Cultivation years ago was healing rapidly, and her cultivation Bottleneck also showed signs of loosening.

For a moment, she could not speak.

What kind of existence... had she actually given birth to?

"Do not panic."

Li Xuan spoke calmly, and the commotion in the inner palace immediately subsided.

Watching this scene, he couldn't help but smile.

Using the Law of the Origin of the Heavenly Dao to craft a toy for himself?

This kid, he knows how to play.

He is worthy of being the "Ancestor of Array Dao," naturally able to command ten thousand array patterns, and easily manipulate the Laws of Heaven and Earth.

At the same time, Li Xuan felt that his own Chaos Body resonated slightly with the newborn Ancestor of Array Dao.

Chaos is the source of all Daos. Seeing this primitive evolutionary process of all Laws returning to one, and then one manifesting into ten thousand, deepened his understanding of his own Chaos Body a little more.

His Foundation, which had just broken through to the Peak of the Saint Realm, also became increasingly stable.

He walked to the side of the cradle, leaned over to look at this extraordinary son, and said with a gentle smile:

"Mastering the Dao, deducing ten thousand Laws. From now on, you shall be called Li Daoyan."

"Daoyan... Li Daoyan..." Su Zhiruo silently recited the name in her heart, a look of joy appearing on her face. "A good name."

Immediately after, she and everyone in the hall looked toward Li Xuan.

They saw Li Xuan extend two fingers, his movements casual.

He gently pinched the colorful pinwheel that was slowly rotating and resonating with the Dao.

That miraculous Dao object, which would be enough to make any Saint fall into an Epiphany or even fight to the death to possess, was just like that "plucked" from mid-air by him.

All the Dao rhythms on the pinwheel instantly converged, quietly resting on his fingertips, as obedient as a real toy.

"Just born, how can you not have a toy to play with?"

Li Xuan said with a smile.

Then, he casually stuck this "Dao Pinwheel" onto the corner of the baby's cradle, finding a gap to wedge it in.

After doing all this, he still felt it wasn't enough, so he extended his finger again and gently flicked one of the blades.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh..."

The pinwheel transformed from the Flower of the Dao immediately began to rotate happily, emitting the crisp sound characteristic of a child's toy.

Su Zhiruo watched, dumbstruck.

The maid who had just broken through felt it was incredible.

A divine object condensed from the Origin of the Dao... just like that... treated as a toy?

Only Li Daoyan in the cradle seemed extremely satisfied with this new toy.

He no longer looked at anything else, his eyes fixed on the rotating colorful light, and he laughed "giggle," extending his little hand, babbling as he tried to grab it.

Li Xuan picked up his son and smiled with satisfaction.

A three-and-a-half-year-old brat tearing up the house outside.

A two-plus-year-old Moon Fairy in seclusion at home.

Now there was another Ancestor of Array Dao who was playing with the Dao right after being born.

The lineup of this prodigy legion was becoming increasingly powerful.

Holding Li Daoyan, his gaze looked toward the distant direction of Tianjiao City.

The stage of the Eastern Wasteland seemed a bit too small for his children.
