196: Devour the Hongmeng Spirit and achieve the Hongmeng Bloodline

Blood stained the entire Divine Realm.

Every strike from the Primordial Giant harvested countless lives from the Primal Spirit Clan.

Their shattered bodies and flowing blood were all absorbed into the Primordial Giant's body.

The powerful Primal Spirit Clan, at this moment, had completely become ants on a hot pan.

"Don't panic! Form a defensive Formation, activate the forbidden art!" An Elder, in his panic, forcefully commanded the crowd.

As soon as he finished speaking, the Primal Spirit Clan members, in groups of three to five, instantly gathered together.

They formed the same hand seals, and pillars of light shot into the sky, converging to form an ancient and mysterious rune in the air.

This was the forbidden art that the Primal Spirit Clan would only use as a last resort; once activated, while it granted immense power, it would also consume their divine energy at a faster rate.

Lin Mu looked at the dying Primal Spirits and revealed a cruel smile.

He formed a hand seal, and an imprint entered the Primordial Giant's body.

The aura around the Primordial Giant grew even more terrifying; he roared towards the sky, his voice shaking every corner of the Divine Realm.

Those who had activated the forbidden art began to bleed from their mouths and noses, clearly enduring immense pressure.

Just then, their forbidden art was finally activated.

Terrifying golden streams of light flowed around the Primal Spirits, their internal power surged, and each of their auras was no weaker than that of the Primal God Clan Leader.

They brandished their respective weapons and charged towards the Giant once more.

Facing the swarming Primal Spirit Clan, the Giant extended his arm and simply waved it, and the powerful force sent the flying Primal Spirit Clan members reeling.

Some were even pulverized into a bloody mist by the immense power, which was then absorbed by the Giant.

Every time the Giant absorbed the flesh and blood of the Primal Spirit Clan, his power within his body grew wildly.

For the Primal Spirit Clan, this was a battle without hope.

The Elder who had been giving commands, seeing that defeat was inevitable, reluctantly took out a jade pendant, glowing red, from his spatial ring.

Mysterious Formations flowed across the jade pendant.

The Elder raised the jade pendant and shouted, "Everyone, come closer to me, quickly!"

As soon as he spoke, the Primal Spirits near him swarmed towards him.

This jade pendant was the Primal Spirit Clan's ultimate life-saving measure; in the history of the Primal Spirits, no one had ever used it before.

Fleeing was the greatest shame for the Primal Spirit Clan.

However, the current situation was a one-sided slaughter; if they lingered any longer, everyone would perish here.

The Elder tightly clutched the jade pendant, muttering incantations.

However, just as the jade pendant emitted a golden light, a streak of light flashed, and Lin Mu's body appeared like a ghost before the Elder.

"Trying to escape? Daydreaming."

He waved his hand, and a seven-colored stream of light instantly shattered the jade pendant.

The Elder's face changed drastically; just as he was about to speak, he saw the Giant's enormous palm slapping down towards them.

The surrounding Primal Spirit Clan members screamed and scattered in all directions.

But they were still a step too slow; wherever the Giant's palm struck, there was another scene of mangled bodies and broken limbs.

At this moment, fewer than a hundred Primal Spirit Clan members remained floating intact in the air.

Under Lin Mu's final command, the Primordial Giant continued to reap their lives.

When the last Primal Spirit Clan member was pulverized into a bloody mist by the Giant, the slaughter truly came to an end.

Lin Mu slowly flew towards the Giant; his body emitted bursts of light, finally merging into the Giant's body.

Golden light coiled around his body, gradually fusing with the Giant's Bloodline.

Just then, a sly whisper came from the Void Realm, indicating a scheme had succeeded.

"Finally, this day has come." The Primordial Spirit looked at the Primordial Giant with greedy eyes. "Today, I shall become a true Primordial Clan member."

As he spoke, streaks of seven-colored golden light, carrying terrifying invisible blades, shot towards Lin Mu, whose eyes were tightly closed.

"Die, everything you've done, I'll take it all."

The scene the Primordial Spirit had envisioned did not occur; thousands of blades struck Lin Mu's body, emitting a series of metallic clangs.

Lin Mu slowly opened his eyes, filled with disdain.

"Primordial Spirit, do you really think I don't know your schemes? From the moment you lured me into obtaining the Primordial Jade Slip, I had already planned this step for today."

As soon as he finished speaking, countless black chains drilled out of the space around the Giant; runes flowed as they tightly bound the Primordial Spirit.

These chains were all condensed from Primordial Blood Essence.

The Primordial Spirit twisted and turned, but he was always unable to escape the shackles of the chains.

"Impossible, how could you have set up such a Formation beforehand?" The Primordial Spirit let out a terrified scream.

Lin Mu's sarcastic smile flashed across his face.

He waved his hand, and a bloody pillar of light descended from the sky, enveloping the Primordial Spirit.

"Why do you think I cooperated with you? Because I had long seen that you are the key to the Fusion of the Primordial Embryo; only by refining you can I truly Awaken the Primordial Bloodline."

"Am I right? My friend from the Primordial Clan."

As soon as Lin Mu's words fell, the Primordial Spirit's struggling movements abruptly stopped; he looked at Lin Mu in disbelief.

"How do you know I am from the Primordial Clan?"

Lin Mu did not answer the Primordial Spirit's question; he said with a playful tone.

"If there's a next life, remember not to scheme against someone smarter than you, or you'll only bring trouble upon yourself in the end."

After Lin Mu finished speaking, he no longer looked at him.

He formed a hand seal, and the chains, binding the Primordial Spirit, moved towards the Primordial Giant.

The Primordial Spirit seemed to have guessed Lin Mu's intention.

He struggled desperately.

"No, let me go."

"Lin Mu, I beg you, I know too many ancient secret arts, I know all sorts of Legacies of the Primordial Clan; keeping me alive is useful to you."

Lin Mu's hands did not stop moving.

"Foolish, once I refine you, everything you know will naturally be mine."

The Primordial Spirit froze, then let out a heaven-shaking roar: "Lin Mu, may you die a terrible death!"

This was the last sound the Primordial Spirit left in this world.

His body was devoured by the Primordial Giant; the formerly dull Giant actually opened his eyes, and the expression on his face became a few shades more vivid.

Lin Mu roared towards the sky, his body merging with the Primordial Giant.

With every gesture he made, the entire Divine Realm trembled, as if unable to withstand his powerful and terrifying strength.

Just then, several sounds of tearing through the air came.

"Congratulations, Young Master, on your great success." Four voices sounded simultaneously.

Lin Mu looked at the four remaining God Emperors, his expression unchanged.

He waved one hand, and four streams of Primordial Qi merged into the bodies of the four individuals.

The four instantly felt an endless surge of powerful energy within their bodies.

They couldn't help but roar towards the sky.

"This is your well-deserved reward; I have planted Primordial Spiritual Qi within your bodies. In the near future, you too may Awaken the Primordial Bloodline."

The four were overwhelmed by this immense joy, each of them stunned in place.

Lin Mu chuckled softly: "Let's go, there's a vaster space outside waiting for us to conquer."
