161: Chapter 158 Alora Type I Common Intelligence

After the meal, Yang Hang followed Yang Jianguo out of the Houseboat, and the father and son hunted two low-tier sea beasts in the nearby waters.

Yang Jianguo, wearing his battle armor, took them out with one punch each, while Yang Hang casually tossed out a few shots of Eye of the Greedy Wolf.

After returning to the Houseboat, Yang Yue had already set up her flying chess board and the two-player online fighting game Yang Hang had brought.

"Brother, come on! Flying chess first! Whoever loses has to drink a cup of seawater!"

"Are you sure? Have you forgotten what your brother's talent is? You want to play this kind of luck-based game with me?"

"Hmph, you're not allowed to use it when playing with me!"

As it turned out, Yang Hang indeed didn't use his talent to cheat, but the results were still dramatic.

After losing five games in a row, Yang Yue was punished by having to drink five small sips of purified seawater. Even though it was purified, the salty taste still made her entire face scrunch up.

"Brother, did you really not use your talent to cheat?"

"I really didn't, I swear!"

"Alright, I believe you."

"Then... should we keep playing?"

"No more! Let's switch to the fighting game!"

The two of them battled on the fighting game handheld for over three more hours.

Yang Yue's reaction speed with Water Control had indeed been honed through actual combat; her hand speed was extremely fast, and her continuous combos forced Yang Hang to exert even the tiniest fraction of seriousness to counter them.

Midway through, Yang Yue suddenly changed the subject: "Brother, that life ring that the Fate Master gave out today, have you activated it?"

"Activated it." Yang Hang didn't stop moving his hands: "Two hundred karma points, it's practically free."

"Do you really think it's cheap?"

"Look at that post from the Revival Society; reinforcing a Gold Tier item starts at a minimum of one hundred thousand karma points. The life ring is basically a gift."

Yang Yue stared at the screen, silent for two seconds.

"The Fate Master is really good to us people of the Yanhuang Civilization."

"He is quite good."

"...What kind of person do you think the Fate Master is?"

Yang Hang's thumb paused on the button for a tenth of a second.

"I don't know. Maybe he's an ordinary person? A bald middle-aged uncle? A pretty young lady?"

Yang Yue burst out laughing: "You're the one who's bald!"

Past three in the morning, Yang Yue finally couldn't hold on any longer and fell asleep on her bed.

Mother covered her with a blanket and heated up a glass of milk for Yang Hang before going to rest.

Yang Jianguo had silently returned to his sleeping cabin back at eleven o'clock.

Yang Hang sat alone on the deck, listening to the sound of the waves for a while.

Afterward, he laid out a makeshift bed on the floor in his sister's room.

At twelve noon the next day, the notification that the sunken sea treasure chest had reset popped up right on time.

Mother held his hand, unwilling to let go: "Stay for one more day."

"Mom, I have to fish for the treasure chest. I'll come back tomorrow. I can come every day."

"...Then be careful on your way."

Yang Yue leaned against the cabin door, arms crossed: "Brother."

"Hmm?"

"When will you open another item like that? Let me go over to your side and take a look, okay?"

Yang Hang's footsteps paused, and a bead of sweat that didn't exist seemed to pop up on his forehead.

"This... maybe there will be a chance in the future."

"Tch, you definitely have something on your ship that you can't let people see."

Yang Hang marveled that his sister could always guess so accurately, then, without looking back, he walked into the light screen.

Back on the deck of the super luxurious Houseboat, Yang Hang didn't go to the fishing spot right away.

He returned to the living area inside the ship's hull.

At the end of the corridor, two Bionic Maids were already waiting. Their uniforms were crisp and their faces were exquisite; one had a sweet-looking round face with short hair, while the other was a tall, long-haired type with a cold demeanor.

"Welcome back, Master."

"Hmm." Yang Hang unbuttoned his jacket and tossed it onto a hook in the hallway. "Get things ready."

The round-faced, short-haired Bionic Maid smiled slightly and turned to push open the door to the master bedroom.

Inside the room, beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows was the boundless blue sea. The light from the twin suns leaked through the gaps in the blinds, casting strips of warm golden light onto the dark carpet.

The sound of water in the bathroom started first. White steam spilled out from behind the half-open frosted glass door, filling the entire room with mist.

The tall, long-haired Bionic Maid pushed in a service cart, on which lay snow-white towels, essential oils, an aromatherapy lamp, and a complete set of massage tools.

Yang Hang leaned into the bathtub, the warm water submerging his collarbones. Two pairs of soft hands pressed against his shoulders and neck, kneading the muscle lines that remained tense even under the enhancement of his Stellar Body with precise force.

It was said to be for relaxing the body and mind, and it truly was relaxing the body and mind.

He closed his eyes.

The round-faced, short-haired one wrapped her arms around his shoulders from behind, her warm breath against his ear; the tall, long-haired one knelt on the edge of the bathtub, her fingertips sliding down his arm inch by inch with just the right amount of pressure.

The lavender scent of the essential oils permeated the steam.

Yang Hang turned his head, and the round-faced, short-haired Bionic Maid leaned in, her soft touch pressing against his jawline.

"Master, do you need more pressure?"

"Hmm."

The water surface rippled.

The water temperature in the bathtub automatically increased by two degrees.

The pervasive mist blurred the figures of the three, weaving and entwining them into a single whole.

One hour and forty minutes later.

Yang Hang walked out of the master bedroom wrapped in a white bathrobe with a wide collar, his body and mind refreshed, feeling full of energy.

The collar of the bathrobe was wide open, revealing the well-defined chest and abdominal muscles forged by his Stellar Body. His hair still held moisture, with a few stray locks resting on his forehead.

He took a bottle of freshly squeezed orange juice from the ice bucket at the bar and poured it into a wine glass.

The orange-colored liquid left a thin film on the crystal glass wall.

Yang Hang held the glass and strolled slowly toward the fishing spot in the center of the Houseboat.

Deep blue light surged from that one-meter-square circular area, and the fishing rod was fixed silently above the light ring.

Yang Hang leaned back on the luxurious sofa next to the fishing spot, crossed his legs, and took a sip of orange juice. The sweet and sour taste exploded on the tip of his tongue, and the cold liquid slid down his throat.

He didn't fish for the sunken sea treasure chest right away; instead, he first scanned the situation on the individual battle leaderboard and the Sequence Battle leaderboard.

The Survivors of the Yanhuang Civilization, with the enhancement of the life ring, were performing better and better, reaching a point where they no longer needed him to worry about them.

The only thing that caught his attention slightly was that his ranking in the individual battles had slipped out of the top ten.

He had also seen many comments in the Fate Platform expressing confusion and worry about this.

Then, his attention turned to fishing for the sunken sea treasure chest.

He extended a wisp of Divine Sense, placed it on the fishing rod, and began to fish for the sunken sea treasure chest containing the powerful AI he needed.

Following the same steps as before, with the constant surging and energy supply from the Karmic Void Realm and the River of Causality, amidst the myriad of treasure chest Karma, he finally found the Gold Tier AI he needed that possessed powerful data analysis capabilities—the damaged Alola Type I Generic Intelligence Unit.

Actually, he had scoured several Gold Tier AIs, but each had different areas of focus. Ultimately, he chose this damaged generic AI that "once" possessed stellar-level data learning, analysis, and storage capabilities.

The other AIs might have had complete versions, but their data analysis capabilities were far inferior to this damaged Alola generic AI.

The moment the blue light of the fishing rod retracted, the sunken sea treasure chest landed on the deck.

Yang Hang put down the orange juice in the wine glass and reached out to open the treasure chest.

Golden light exploded.

Gold Tier.

After the light faded, only one thing lay inside the chest.

A regular dodecahedron with a diameter of about seven centimeters.

The material was unknown. The entire object was dark gray, and the twelve regular pentagonal faces were covered with patterns that Yang Hang couldn't understand at all; they did not belong to any technological system he had seen on Earth Star or the Magic Sea.

However, that didn't matter.

Now Yang Hang had seen them.

Yang Hang held it in the palm of his hand.

Energy Perception spread out.

The energy structure inside this dodecahedron was extremely complex, with millions of micro-energy circuits crisscrossing and nested within, the density far exceeding any Gold Tier wonder he had ever seen.

But nearly two-thirds of the circuits were broken and dim.

Damaged.

Severely damaged.

Yang Hang didn't hesitate; he directly injected a wisp of Karma energy.

The bottom of the dodecahedron lit up.

A beam of deep blue light shot out from the bottom, lifting the entire dodecahedron off his palm and suspending it in mid-air. The unknown patterns all over its body lit up with blue light one by one, spreading from the bottom upwards, as if blood vessels were being re-perfused.

The top face—slowly split open.

It wasn't shattering, but a precise mechanical unfolding. Five edges folded outwards, revealing a fist-sized projection core inside.

Blue light shot out from the core, condensing into a translucent humanoid phantom above the dodecahedron.

No facial details.

No clothing textures.

Only the most basic human outline.

Head, torso, limbs; the lines were extremely simple, like a white model just pulled out of 3D modeling software.

The phantom opened its "eyes."

Two points of blue light lit up in the head panel area.

"Alola Type I Generic Intelligence Unit, serial number G-33564682131271, at your service."
