190: Chapter 187 The Golden Figure in the Photograph!

"Storm Prophet (Teuton): Everyone, I have a bad feeling. The last Magic Sea Beast Tide was on the 12th day of the Magic Sea Calendar. Today is the 25th day, and for thirteen whole days, there hasn't been a single official disaster. Isn't this a bit too peaceful? Is the Magic Sea really kind enough to let us live this peacefully?"

"Storm Prophet (Teuton): Could this sea disaster be the—precursor to the next round of official Magic Sea disasters?"

As soon as these words were spoken, the atmosphere in the Symphony Realm changed abruptly.

"Panicking Panicking (Yanhuang Civilization): Don't scare me... A precursor? What do you mean? Is the Magic Sea testing disasters?"

"Storm Prophet (Teuton): Think about it. Covering the border areas of several civilizations, affecting tens of millions of people, a tsunami hundreds of meters high, plus countless giant deep-sea whirlpools. A natural disaster of this scale has never appeared in the Magic Sea before. And after the disaster ended, everyone and everything were restored perfectly—this doesn't look like a real disaster, it looks more like a... simulation. It's as if the Magic Sea is testing the parameters for the next round of disasters."

In an instant, countless Survivors flooded into the discussion.

"David Reeves (Stars and Stripes): God, if the next round of disasters is at this level... a tsunami of hundreds of meters, I can't even protect my rotten wood class houseboat. Also, I have to refute one point: the peace these past few days is aimed at you Yanhuang Civilization Survivors; most of us Survivors from other civilizations haven't been having it easy. Crying JPG"

"Sea Chicken Farmer (Yanhuang Civilization): No, no, no, no way, right??? The previous two beast tides at least gave us time to prepare and a chance to resist, but if this kind of tsunami comes, even with advance warning, there's absolutely no chance to react! Even a Silver Grade Survivor couldn't withstand a tsunami hundreds of meters high, right???"

"Handsome Guy at Sea (Yanhuang Civilization): Calm down. Everyone, calm down. If it really is an official disaster test, then the resurrection mechanism itself shows that the Magic Sea doesn't intend to actually kill people during the test. This is just a rehearsal."

"Iron-Faced Ruthless (Yanhuang Civilization): A rehearsal? Are you saying the Magic Sea is showing us a trailer? 'This is a sample of the next disaster, letting you experience despair in advance'?"

This reply triggered an even wider range of panic.

But just as the discussion grew increasingly off-track and feelings of fear began to spread, a post quietly popped up.

"Deep Sea Dried Fish (Yanhuang Civilization): Everyone, could this matter possibly involve Lord Fate Master?"

The comment section went silent for 0.3 seconds.

Then it was flooded.

"Storm Eye (Yanhuang Civilization): Brother, get a grip. This is the death and resurrection of millions of people. Lord Fate Master is indeed powerful, but this can no longer be explained by the word 'powerful'; this is definitely not something we Survivors can do."

"Salted Fish Turnaround (Yanhuang Civilization): Right, +1. Lord Fate Master is the creator of the Fate Platform, and the Fate Platform is indeed a miracle, but to control the life and death of millions with one hand—that is already a Realm that only a god could reach."

"Iron Straight Man (Yanhuang Civilization): And think about the timeline. The last beast tide was fifteen days ago; it is indeed possible for the Magic Sea to have a more terrifying new disaster. The possibility of this being an official disaster test is far greater than it being Lord Fate Master's personal action."

"Storm Prophet (Teuton): The conclusion is clear. Apart from the Magic Sea official, no individual can do something of this scale. Unless—that individual is a god."

Under that last sentence, there were tens of thousands of replies saying "Indeed," "No issues there," and "It must be official."

The conclusion of the discussion was rapidly converging—the theory of an official Magic Sea disaster test held the overwhelming upper hand.

But these discussions soon changed direction as some disaster victims posted real photos.

The first to be posted were real photos of the tsunami captured by life rings from Survivors of other civilizations on the periphery of the disaster area.

Dozens of consecutively taken screenshots, pieced together, formed a horizontal panorama extending from left to right to the end of the field of vision—a wall of tsunami water hundreds of meters high and nearly vertical.

Inside the water wall churned broken wood, metal debris, and occasionally discernible... severed limbs.

The Symphony Realm exploded for a round.

"Roaring Conch (Yanhuang Civilization): My god... Is this a photo? This isn't a movie special effect???"

"Little Taro (Yanhuang Civilization): This water wall... visually estimated to be at least two or three hundred meters??? I don't feel so good. [Fear jpg]"

"Alan MacDonald (Fog City): My hands are shaking as I look at these photos now. If this is the intensity of the next round of disasters... God bless us all."

Following that was the second wave of photos—taken by Survivors in the core disaster area, showing resurrected companions and repaired Houseboats.

A Survivor from the Fog City Camp posted six consecutive screenshots, recording the entire process of a Bronze Grade Houseboat in front of him that had been torn into hundreds of pieces—starting from the fragmented state, automatically assembling piece by piece, and finally restoring to its original state.

In the last picture, a person soaked to the bone was lying on the deck of the Houseboat, coughing up water.

That person had died just minutes before.

"Dream Maker (Yanhuang Civilization): ...Truly a sight to behold. Seriously, I've lived long enough to see everything."

"Wind-Chasing Youth (Yanhuang Civilization): Good heavens, this restoration process is too clear, right? The fragments flew back and assembled themselves??? What's the principle behind this? The Magic Sea's repair mechanism?"

"Dont Panic Let Me Analyze (Yanhuang Civilization): Pay attention to the way it restored. It wasn't random aggregation of fragments; it was strictly reassembled in reverse according to the original structure. Every single fragment returned to its precise position. This isn't a repair; it looks more like a rollback targeting a specific area."

The discussion boiled over again.

But all of this was just an appetizer.

Soon, a user of the visitor system from the Gaul Faction with the ID "Pierre Duval" posted a thread.

The thread title had only four words.

"I captured it."

In the main text, twenty-three consecutive screenshots were posted.

The first to the third—golden light shining.

This was the scene after the tsunami subsided, a humanoid silhouette floating several hundred meters in the air. Against the light, the facial features could not be seen. A faint golden halo flowed around its body.

The fourth to the thirteenth—that figure raised a hand.

The movement was very light, and then—countless golden ripples expanded booming from around the figure, covering the entire sky.

The fourteenth to the twenty-third—this was the content that truly left everyone speechless.

In Pierre's lens, several Houseboats near him that had been destroyed by the tsunami were gathering back together from the fragments. At the same time, the body of a female Survivor who had been swallowed by a whirlpool and confirmed dead was re-condensing from nothing on the sea surface within these golden ripples—first the skeletal outline, then the flesh and blood, and finally a complete human form.

It matched perfectly with the action of the golden figure high in the sky slightly brushing its right hand forward.
