28: Chapter 28 Unexpected Change, Unorthodox Path Attack

Lu Xuan was getting carried away with the fight, but Lu Wu didn't care about his safety and turned to leave.

Although their relationship wasn't good, he knew how strong his foolish younger brother was; at least in this generation of the Family, he could be ranked as the second strongest.

They had been the ones fighting these past few days, while Lu Xuan stayed in the back being intimate with two women, barely lifting a finger.

Unexpectedly, while he was quiet when not fighting, once he made a move, he shocked everyone.

“Rest for a bit, don't push yourselves.” Xia Qinger stepped forward, gently healing their wounds.

“Young Master Lu, are you okay?” Cheng Feng shouted.

“I'm tanky and can take a hit. I'll go cover him so he can get back.” Zhou Chen volunteered.

There weren't many combat-ready people left. Zhou Chen had remained active until now thanks to his special ability to recover by absorbing Essence Blood; he was incredibly fierce.

“I'm counting on you!” Cheng Feng nodded solemnly. My benefactor can't die yet!

“Of course. Xiao Xia, hurry and give me a layer of defense, otherwise I'm afraid I won't be able to hold out.” Zhou Chen grinned.

“Okay.” Xia Qinger closed her eyes, and her Staff radiated light, enveloping him.

“Alright, I'm off!” Carrying his greatsword on his back, Zhou Chen immediately charged forward.

“Little Young Master Lu, don't panic, I'm coming!” He shouted as he ran, drawing the attention of the rhino pack.

“I... cough, cough!” Lu Wu stood up, intending to go support him.

Chen Xing had helped him out of a bind yesterday, and he still remembered it, so he naturally couldn't just watch and do nothing.

But his injuries were severe, and after fighting for so long, his strength hadn't recovered; he truly lacked the power to help.

“You're injured, don't push yourself.” Li Tan stepped forward.

“Rest for now. Let me do it; I'm fast, so I should be able to pull Brother Chen back.”

Lu Wu fell silent, then nodded after a few seconds. “I'll leave it to you then!”

Li Tan grinned. “Just rest.”

“Mhm.”

Lu Wu nodded and immediately sat cross-legged.

In the very next second, Xia Qinger suddenly screamed.

Unleashing her full power at any cost, she turned into a streak of light and rushed over, pushing Lu Wu out of the way.

In the distance, Chen Xing was fighting four Thunder-Horned Rhinos and actually seemed to have the upper hand, without a single scratch on him.

“Hmm... test complete. It seems my normal combat strength is at the Divine Sea Realm, though facing four at once is a bit troublesome to deal with and will take some time,” Chen Xing thought.

“What are you doing!”
