160: Baahubali's Original Sin 1

Outside the White Elephant Manor, inside the van.

Jiang Feng raised an eyebrow. At this point in time, who was contacting him?

He lowered his gaze to his wristband. A light screen unfolded, displaying two unfamiliar contacts whose names looked like real names rather than usernames.

"Sumita, Parvati," Jiang Feng murmured to himself.

He didn't need to look up any information about the contacts. Sent simultaneously with the communication request were a sharing link, a massive attachment package, and a text message that surprised Jiang Feng.

[Lord Anonymous A.]

[We are Sumita and Parvati, the daughters of Bahubali, and the canaries suffocating in his cage.]

[We are sick of this hell named 'kinship,' and sick of being treated as goods waiting to be sold at a high price.]

[Under the guidance of Miss Su Wen, we contacted you.]

[We hope that with your supreme authority, you can grant us an opportunity.]

[An opportunity to escape hell, an opportunity to serve you.]

[We promise that as long as you lend a helping hand, we can do anything and achieve anything for you.]

[The only reward we seek is your help itself; we ask for nothing else.]

[This is our sincerity—the attachment.]

Jiang Feng opened it and saw their information, along with copies of all the access keys for the White Elephant Manor.

'Bahubali's daughters?' Jiang Feng recalled for a moment.

'The Garol Gang's canaries.' The corresponding image appeared in his mind.

How strange. In the data Halsey had investigated, these two were essentially jewels adorning a bloody crown, beautiful but powerless. Everyone knew their fate.

Everyone pitied them, yet few could resist imagining how bleak their future would be.

It was as if fantasizing about a beautiful thing being ravaged and destroyed brought a certain extreme pleasure.

'Su Wen. What scheme is she up to now?'

Jiang Feng shook his head slightly. He was inclined to believe the two women. If Su Wen hadn't tipped them off, how would they know "Anonymous A," the account name he used on the dark web?

"Halsey, check what this sharing link is."

"Detecting high-priority encrypted communication request. Preliminary source verification: Sumita, Parvati."

"The message is attached with a highly compressed encryption algorithm. Preliminary scan shows no malicious code. The data originates from the Hyperspace Forum, pointing to an ongoing online conference."

"I have already hacked in. It is a secret meeting of the Bahubali family."

Halsey added, "Their last secret meeting."

Jiang Feng nodded slightly. Since that was the case, he didn't need to access the sharing link. This would not only raise his leverage but also indirectly confirm his own strength.

[Lord Anonymous A, we are sincere. Please give us a chance.]

The message came again. Jiang Feng casually replied, and then told Halsey, "Show me their meeting."

[Anonymous A: I am watching.]

He didn't know that on the other end of the signal, Sumita and Parvati exchanged glances and couldn't help but shiver.

Before Jiang Feng, on the light screen.

The original situational map disappeared, replaced by a conference interface split into several small windows.

The video quality was extremely high, clearly utilizing a top-tier private conferencing system.

In the center of the main screen was the full view of a luxurious study deep inside the main house of the White Elephant Manor.

Bahubali's imposing figure was sunk into a massive chair, his face so gloomy it looked like water could drip from it.

Jiang Feng's pupils contracted slightly as he saw several faces he had never seriously cared about.

Besides Vidyanand, two young men appeared in the other two small windows.

The one on the left was a man who looked almost identical to Bahubali, except he was extremely obese.

He was "Vyas," Bahubali's second son.

He was wearing loose silk robes, sprawled lazily in a room with an ostentatious style.

In the background, outside the huge floor-to-ceiling window, was an unfamiliar alien sky glowing with purplish-red light.

He was fiddling with an oddly shaped e-cigarette in his hand, looking distracted by the meeting's content, yawning occasionally.

The one on the right, "Shukra," Bahubali's third son, was completely different.

His face was handsome to the point of being demonic. He wore a perfect black suit, sitting in a luxurious private box.

A faint, extremely uncomfortable smile played on his lips. His slender fingers were carelessly swirling an expensive crystal red wine glass, but his eyes were venomous, making people feel sticky even through the screen.

'Second son Vyas, third son Shukra.'

Jiang Feng instantly matched the names. One managed contraband on an alien planet, the other was involved in intergalactic "special population trade."

Sure enough, they were all scum who couldn't stand the light of day.

Vidyanand's roar came through. Even though the volume was lowered, the hysteria was still palpable.

...Now! It's now! We've been targeted. It's Alice, it must be her."

"Our attack on Jasmine forced her to seek out her mother, and Alice—we all underestimated her influence."

"This 'Aladdin 1314' started being active three or four years ago, initially only taking small jobs like acquiring corporate data. Now he has suddenly risen to prominence. This is definitely not a coincidence!"

"This mysterious Hacker must be the contingency Alice left behind!"

Vidyanand analyzed seriously, "Father, we must immediately seek the protection of other powerful figures, no matter the cost. Otherwise, the Garol Gang is finished! Completely finished!"

"Tch..." Vyas snorted disdainfully.

Bahubali slammed the table, the surface emitting a dull thud that drowned out his son's roar.

The flab on his face shook. "Shut up! Vidyanand! Why are you panicking!"

He gasped, his voice hoarse. "Who would protect a powder keg that's leaking dirt everywhere and ready to explode? Those big shots will only push us out as scapegoats immediately!"

His gaze swept across his other two sons on the screen, finally settling on Vidyanand, and his tone turned cold.

"Listen, there's no time left. Our only choice is to cut losses, then disperse, focusing on preserving our strength first."

"Vidyanand." He pointed at his eldest son.

"The family's smuggling nodes on Earth, the Moon, and the Asteroid Belt are all yours."

"All control rights, the fleet, route codes, and the list of contacts are all yours. Take your people and leave immediately. Use the fastest ships, leave the Solar System. Run as far as you can and preserve the roots!"

The anxiety on Vidyanand's face was instantly replaced by ecstasy. He knew this wasn't the Garol Gang's network, but the business personally controlled by Bahubali, belonging to the family, not the gang.

Given the current situation, this resource was the most precious thing to him.

He opened his mouth, wanting to say something more, but was roughly interrupted by Bahubali's wave of the hand.

In the other windows, the gazes cooled down somewhat. Everyone needed transport, especially Vyas.

A large portion of his contraband came from Earth. Without the smuggling routes, the scale of his transactions would quickly decline significantly.

Vyas and Shukra exchanged glances, both knowing that their father was forcing cooperation between the brothers.

Shukra smiled slightly, raising his glass in a distant toast, saying nothing. No one could tell what his game was.

As for Sumita and Parvati, one was docile, the other innocent, their eyes slightly clouded with confusion.

Jiang Feng curled his lip. Based on the message he received on his wristband, he absolutely did not believe these two women were so simple.

"Vyas!" Bahubali looked at the large fatty in the alien room.

"The two 'Biotech' companies the family registered on 'Zumaka Star,' the shares, production lines, formula libraries, and the long-term supply contracts with those 'special clients'—they are all yours!"

Hearing his father's allocation, a look of focus finally appeared on Vyas's fat face. His beady eyes flashed with greedy light, and he nodded vigorously, forgetting to puff his e-cigarette.

With these resources entering the market, the Terran Union couldn't interfere, and the scale of his contraband sales would only continue to climb.

"Shukra!" Bahubali turned to his third son, his expression complex.

"What you need most is 'supply sources,' right?" he asked.

The smile deepened on Shukra's handsome face. He nodded slightly, like a venomous snake waiting to be fed.

"The deepest and most valuable batch of insiders the family has planted within the Public Security Bureau, the Immigration Department, the Social Welfare Agency, and even several large labor export companies—their contact information, leverage points, and financial chains... they are all yours."

"Use them well, and your 'Interstellar Human Resources' business will have a continuous supply."

Shukra elegantly set down his wine glass and clapped softly, the satisfaction in his eyes undisguised.

"Thank you, Father. This gift is very... practical."

Finally, Bahubali's gaze briefly swept over the corner of the conference interface.

There were two small windows side by side, showing two pale yet beautiful young faces.

Sumita and Parvati.

"As for you two..."

Bahubali spoke as if he had suddenly traveled to the South Pole, his voice like a cold gust of wind.

"That... that fashion company, whatever it's called, and two portions of... er, structured financial products from the United Reserve Bank worth over eighty million... they are yours." He spoke extremely quickly, with the impatience of someone trying to dismiss a burden.

Sumita's heart plummeted, and she could barely maintain the facade of docility on her face.

That so-called fashion company was nothing more than a shell company, a tool used for money laundering.

As for the financial products, she didn't even need to look. Any so-called "structured" financial product was certainly set up with severe long-term lock-up periods.

In the face of this imminent disaster, they were nothing more than worthless paper to the sisters.

But to outsiders, especially those poverty-stricken jackals and hyenas, they were a piece of fatty, dripping pork belly!

Parvati's body visibly swayed. The last spark of hope in her eyes was extinguished, leaving only cold, dead ashes. Yet, she struggled to maintain her persona as a naive, sweet girl.

She just stared blankly at her father, like a puppy about to be abandoned.

'Two ruthless women.' Jiang Feng frowned, thinking to himself.
