35: County government meeting
The Dao of Sword in the Martial Dao World of Blue Star is quite different from general Martial Dao Cultivation Techniques, making those who Cultivate the Dao of Sword a unique group of Xuan Practitioners in the Martial Dao World, also known as "Swordsmen."
A true Swordsman must first establish a Sword Heart. This Sword Heart is strongly correlated with the upper limit of his Dao of Sword. The clarity of the Sword Heart is related to Comprehension Ability and Aptitude. Comprehension Ability and Aptitude can be Innate or supplemented through Acquired learning and diligent practice, but Acquired supplementation places high demands on a Swordsman. Besides sufficient financial resources, he must also possess extraordinary perseverance and put in hard work, which is difficult for ordinary people to achieve.
Secondly, a Swordsman must Cultivate Sword Veins, Sword Strength, Sword Qi, Sword Intent, and Sword Aura. Generally speaking, only by entering the Innate Realm, specifically after the Martial Ancestor, is it possible for Profound Qi to leave the body, thereby Cultivating Sword Qi, Sword Intent, and Sword Aura. However, those with Sword Dao talent are an exception. There are always some Geniuses who can Cultivate Sword Qi or even Sword Intent in the Acquired Realm, but such individuals are absolutely rare, each one a treasured existence among the major Martial Dao forces.
The Martial Dao version of Heavenly Dao Nine Swords divides the Dao of Sword into five Realms based on Comprehension Ability and understanding of the Dao of Sword. The first is the "Sharp Sword" Realm, which is sharp, fierce, and indomitable, allowing one to achieve the state of having no sword in hand and no sword in heart. The second is the "Soft Sword" Realm, which is considered an entry into the Dao of Sword, allowing one to achieve the state of having a sword in hand, but no sword in heart. The third is the "Heavy Sword" Realm, where a heavy sword has no edge and great skill appears clumsy; in the Dao of Sword, one has reached the Peak, achieving the state of having a sword in hand and also a sword in heart. The fourth is the "Wooden Sword" Realm, where one is not restricted by objects; grass, wood, bamboo, and stone can all be swords, allowing one to achieve the unity of man and sword, having no sword in hand but a sword in heart. The fifth is the "No Sword" Realm, which has reached the Peak, capable of defeating a sword with no sword!
For Long Yuan, starting with basic forms, using the Sword Dao Origin as the foundation and core, familiarizing himself with the birth and evolution of various sword techniques, and then integrating them, he could achieve the level of having a sword in his chest and anticipating the enemy's Moves. His sword techniques could naturally reach the "Sharp Sword" Realm, where one strikes later but arrives first, with speed and sharpness.
This Realm speaks of "no sword in hand, and no sword in heart." Although it is without a sword, meaning one has not yet truly grasped the essence of the Dao of Sword, the opponent's sword Move changes are already fully visible in one's eyes. Regardless of whether one has a sword in hand or in heart, as long as one focuses on the opponent's Moves and calculates the trajectory and trend of their Move changes, one can naturally greatly reduce the power of the opponent's sword, thereby displaying one's tight defense and sharp offense, achieving the state of striking later but arriving first, using speed to break slowness!
"Swish" "Swish" "Swish" "Swish" "Swish"...
Long Yuan vigorously finished one round of basic forms, then collapsed to the ground, panting heavily like a dog. There was no other way; although he had been transformed by the Heavenly Dao Eye with Divine-Grade talent, his foundation was still too weak, his accumulation far from enough. His current Cultivation was only at the Martial Artist Early Stage, completely unable to handle such a terrifying training volume. The reason he could complete one round of sword practice the first time was mainly due to his powerful Soul Power. In this regard, he indeed had a great advantage, not only finding it easier to understand sword techniques but also being able to supplement the consumption of Xuan Power with Soul Power. This made him somewhat like a Soul Warrior in the Immortal Realm, because Soul Warriors primarily use Soul Power, and Soul Power is even a notch higher in quality than spiritual power!
It should be known that Soul Warriors are also a very unique type of existence in the Immortal Realm. Their attack methods are often on the Soul level, extremely insidious and concealed. Before the opponent even realizes the danger is coming, they are unknowingly hit, becoming an idiot or falling into a state of intoxicated consciousness. In such a state, they can only be slaughtered!
Divine-Grade talent coupled with Golden Core Late Stage Soul Power meant Long Yuan had no Bottlenecks in Cultivation; as long as he Cultivated diligently, he could advance rapidly all the way...
However, even so, Long Yuan did not dare to be negligent in the slightest. Instead, he diligently forced himself to Cultivate hard. This subconsciousness ultimately stemmed from the social reality on Earth, where he was so overworked that he had no quality of life. In that suffocating social environment and pressure, countless ordinary people felt extremely insecure. If they didn't work hard, they would feel like they were falling behind and would be eliminated by society, about to be unable to live, about to lose their personal dignity... This intense tension made it impossible for him to relax...
After resting for a while, he immediately began to Cultivate the "Creation Profound Heaven Skill" without stopping...
At the same time, inside the Fengyang County Government, there was a crowd of people, but the atmosphere was quite heavy. The person in charge was County Magistrate Geng Yun of Fengyang County, and sitting below were all influential figures from Fengyang County, including Ye Yuhuang, the Family Head of the Ye Family, Luo Pingchuan, the Family Head of the Luo Family, Qin Fu Yi, the Family Head of the Qin Family, Wang Chaoqi, the Family Head of the Wang Family, and Zhang Chong, the Family Head of the Zhang Family, among others.
The Family Heads of the Five Great Families of Fengyang were all gathered here, no wonder even County Magistrate Geng Yun had to come out to personally receive them. However, his expression was somewhat serious, and his Late-stage Martial Master Aura was very strong, making the various Family Heads feel considerable pressure in front of him.
Among these Family Heads, Ye Yuhuang, the Family Head of the Ye Family, was still in the lead. The Ye Family also had a Late-stage Martial Master Old Ancestor, so he said in a rather forceful tone, "Lord County Magistrate, our Ye Family suffered the greatest losses in this attack, and also contributed the most to the operation to capture the Fusang People culprit. Please consider the Ye Family's efforts and hand over that Fusang People culprit to the Ye Family for handling! No matter what, our Ye Family will avenge this grudge!"
Luo Pingchuan, the Family Head of the Luo Family, echoed, "Brother Ye's feelings are understandable! The Fusang People are bullying our prominent families in Fengyang. If we don't retaliate, they might think we are soft persimmons that can be easily squeezed!"
"We must kill the chicken to scare the monkeys!!!" Qin Fu Yi, the Family Head of the Qin Family, said fiercely.
"It is said that the Fusang People are extremely cruel and ruthless in their actions. The great misfortune that befell little nephew Ye He this time is a clear example! Some people on the Martial Dao forum also say that they have targeted young Geniuses of our Great Ming Empire in other places. Such blatant evil deeds demand that we retaliate in kind and let the Fusang People know that our Fengyang County will absolutely not allow them to run wild!" Zhang Chong, the Family Head of the Zhang Family, said.
Wang Chaoqi, the Family Head of the Wang Family, also nodded in agreement. The Family Heads of the Five Great Families had unified their opinions before coming to Geng Yun. Their purpose was to help the Ye Family get revenge and at the same time retaliate against the Fusang People, to prevent such misfortunes from befalling other families in the future. After all, the Five Great Families basically controlled the entire livelihood of Fengyang. It could be said that they prospered or suffered together. Although internal infighting was unavoidable, externally, at least on the surface, they would stand together to protect their common interests in Fengyang!
This was the basic principle of how these prominent families in Fengyang operated. They were all in the same boat; they could bite each other internally, but when an external threat came, they had to unite against it. Moreover, they didn't know much about Fusang People, only that they came from overseas and rarely saw Fusang People people. They didn't know why some of them suddenly appeared in Fengyang and dealt a fatal blow to Ye He. So, in their view, this small Fusang Country dared to stir up trouble on the land of the Great Ming Empire. They must be given a warning and a lesson, otherwise, where would the Face of the prominent families of Fengyang be placed?
