Tianyuan

Time flew by, like a shuttle weaving through the years!

In the blink of an eye, five days had passed.

For Zhong Qing, this trip to the Chaotic Demon Sea was truly a rich experience.

There were moments of calm, twists and turns, and unexpected encounters, where he witnessed many incredible beings, making it quite an adventure.

And today, he finally reached Tianyuan!

Tianyuan is the boundary between the Chaotic Demon Sea and Zhongzhou!

It was also a necessary part of Zhong Qing's journey through Zhongzhou.

In ancient texts, Tianyuan was described as a place of despair, a forbidden land, a cursed place.

Among the creatures of the Chaotic Demon Sea, Tianyuan was spoken of with deep reverence and associated with death.

At least in their perception, no one who had entered Tianyuan, from ancient times to the present, had ever returned alive.

As the boat continued to sail forward, Zhong Qing finally witnessed this dreaded land that made people pale at the mention of its name.

Dense white mist enveloped the entire sea surface, spreading across the sky.

The mist was hazy, making it impossible to see five fingers in front of one's face, and it blocked all divine sense probes.

The vast expanse of white was dazzling, singularly white, a kind of white that immediately brought to mind the color of death.

"No wonder one has to wait for the white mist to disperse before entering Tianyuan!"

Zhong Qing stood at the bow of the boat, took a sip of wine, and muttered, "Once inside, losing one's sense of direction, even if no danger is encountered, one would probably be trapped there forever."

And Tianyuan was rumored to be extremely sinister; one could imagine with just a toe that there would be dangers within.

At this point, the boat had completely stopped.

Firstly, it was naturally impossible to sail into Tianyuan so rashly.

Secondly, the area ahead was no longer purely sea.

In the surrounding sea area enveloped by white mist, the water was still water, but it lacked the soft, flowing characteristic of water.

It was more like ice crystals; walking on it felt as if one had arrived on land.

It gave off an eerie and unsettling feeling.

The boat had completely lost its purpose in such a place.

While Zhong Qing was observing Tianyuan before him,

Mei had already walked out of the boat cabin.

"Is this Tianyuan?"

His heart trembled.

The boundless white mist, when looked at for too long, seemed to possess some kind of magical power, drawing people forward.

No living being in the Chaotic Demon Sea was unaware of Tianyuan, yet no one dared to approach it.

This was a forbidden land for living beings.

The notion of not being able to enter Tianyuan was ingrained in their bones like a law, passed down through their blood, almost becoming a generational belief.

Mei did not dare to look directly at Tianyuan.

Instead, he turned to look at Zhong Qing, wanting to speak several times but hesitating.

"Something wrong?"

Zhong Qing sensed his unease and asked softly.

Mei's throat moved slightly.

He directly knelt before Zhong Qing.

"Master, this humble demon was blind before and offended you."

"Along the way, I have also been diligent."

"This Tianyuan is a land of death, and this humble demon dares not venture deep."

"May I humbly request, Master, to allow this humble demon to return?"

After saying this, Mei was already covered in a cold sweat.

He didn't know if Zhong Qing would let him leave.

He also didn't know if Zhong Qing would kill him with a single palm strike in anger.

But he knew that if he entered Tianyuan, he would surely face certain death.

Zhong Qing glanced at Mei.

He waved his hand indifferently: "You may go!"

He was merely a tool, and he had performed diligently along the way, so Zhong Qing did not make things difficult for him.

Hearing that Zhong Qing was willing to let him leave, Mei was moved to tears of gratitude and once again performed three kowtows to Zhong Qing.

He exclaimed, "Thank you for your mercy, Master!"

After three kowtows, Mei dared not linger.

He turned around and plunged into the sea.

In his heart, he didn't necessarily not want to follow Zhong Qing and strive for a prosperous future, a bright future.

Even if Zhong Qing were going to some den of dragons and tigers, he would accept it.

But Zhong Qing was going to an abyss like hell.

He, he retreated!

Looking at Mei's departing figure, Zhong Qing's heart felt little ripple.

Life is a process of continuous forward movement.

Some people gather together by fate, while others drift apart as they walk.

For him, this was just a trivial matter.

His focus was more on Tianyuan.

According to Zhou Tong, the Sect Master of Wuliang Sect in Liehai City, the mist of Tianyuan was perpetually dense and never dispersed.

However, at regular intervals, the white mist would recede on its own.

This timing was uncertain, perhaps once every few months, or once every few years, or even once every thousand years.

Of course, most of this was actually information Zhou Tong had heard himself.

But for Zhong Qing, he could only trust him in the current situation.

The only thing he could do was wait!

Wait for the white mist to recede, then cross Tianyuan.

Sun rose and moon set, moon rose and sun set.

As time passed day after day.

Zhong Qing sat cross-legged at the bow of the boat, without the slightest impatience, simply waiting calmly.

Between heaven and earth, there was a profound silence.

There were no swimming fish or creatures here, nor the slightest chirping of insects or birds.

The entire world seemed to contain only Zhong Qing as a living being.

Leaving aside everything else, if it were a restless and impetuous person, this environment alone would probably drive them mad.

However, Zhong Qing had a calm disposition.

He had long been prepared.

So he was able to endure.

He had even prepared himself to wait for three to five years.

If the mist did not recede for three to five years, he would then plan something else.

Fortunately, his luck was good.

After only a month, an east wind blew from within Tianyuan.

Under the influence of the east wind, the mist actually began to dissipate.

Of course, this process was not instantaneous.

A day later, the white mist became thinner, no longer a vast expanse of white.

Faintly visible within the white mist was a water-based jungle.

Two days later, the white mist significantly reduced.

Within the jungle, an ancient path was faintly visible.

That ancient path went straight to the sky, its end nowhere in sight.

Three days later, the white mist completely dissipated.

The dreaded Tianyuan had shed its mysterious veil, completely revealing itself before Zhong Qing.

As far as the eye could see!

This was an extremely peculiar land.

Within the jungle, vines and countless withered branches covered the ground.

However, these withered branches and vines were not rooted in the soil.

They appeared to be suspended, growing in the void.

The entire jungle gave off a chilling and terrifying sensation.

Below, white bones stood like a forest, densely packed, forming bone mountains one after another.

Among them were the bones of flying birds thirty to fifty feet long, the giant bones of fierce birds a hundred feet long, and the skeletons of flood dragons over a thousand feet long.

This, it seemed, was a world of white bones.

And no matter how extraordinary the predecessors of those corpses were, at this moment, their bones were like remnants in the wind, devoid of any divine power or vitality, as if the essence within the bones had all been absorbed by the vines and withered branches.

Zhong Qing stopped and watched intently.

The more he looked, the deeper the shock in his heart became.

The withered branches and vines looked unremarkable.

They even gave off a sense of decay, as if their vitality could dissipate at any moment.

But even a fool would know that something that had absorbed the essence of these boundless skeletons could not be simple.

In Zhong Qing's eyes, these vines and withered branches were definitely extremely dangerous things.

Of course, he wasn't afraid in the slightest.

After all, he had many trump cards!

His numerous trump cards made him fearless of any crisis or challenge.

Without much hesitation, Zhong Qing directly stepped into Tianyuan.
