The situation in the Eighth Heaven

After chatting with Zhong Qing for a bit, Yu Weichen finally spoke, "Little Friend Zhong, let me introduce you to the current situation of the Immortal Alliance and the Eighth Heaven."

Zhong Qing nodded, "That's exactly what I'd like to learn."

Zhong Qing had already witnessed the situation from the Third Heaven to the Seventh Heaven.

But he wasn't very clear about the Eighth Heaven.

Yu Weichen then began to explain in detail.

Compared to the First Heaven, which is divided into the Four Regions of the east, south, west, and north, as well as the Central Continent Three Thousand Domains, and various Chaotic Lands and Chaotic Demon Sea interspersed within, the geographical division of the Eighth Heaven is quite simple.

There are only three main continents: Sun Continent, Moon Continent, and Star Continent, plus numerous floating islands surrounding the three continents.

According to Yu Weichen, the Eighth Heaven originally had no native inhabitants.

The Nine Heavens, as the core, was not suitable for habitation for various reasons.

Therefore, from the beginning, the Eighth Heaven served as the True Immortal Stationed place for the Immortal Alliance.

So, the Eighth Heaven is the smallest Realm besides the Nine Heavens, but it has the highest concentration of Spiritual Qi.

But how could a True Immortal Stationed the Eighth Heaven alone?

Just as Yu Weichen said before, almost every True Immortal who went to the Upper Realm would bring along relatives, friends, and even Disciples and servants.

Some even moved their entire Sect's Dao lineage or even their entire clan up.

A True Immortal himself represents a clan.

However, most of these people, except for a small portion, were not qualified to live in the Immortal Alliance's Immortal Palace, or rather, the Immortal Alliance couldn't accommodate them, so they lived on the Sun, Moon, and Star Continents below.

Even if the population was small at first, it grew countless times over millions of years.

After tens of millions of years of development, these clans, originally dependent on True Immortals, have formed a huge scale on the three continents.

Of course, the population size is still not as vast as the first four Heavens, but it is still quite numerous, after all, it's not just one clan or one species here.

Instead, it's all clans among the myriad races that have produced True Immortals.

This is also why the Eighth Heaven has the most powerful individuals.

The races that can be here will not have a bad foundation, and everyone has intricate connections with True Immortals. In an environment like the Eighth Heaven, their growth is naturally faster.

By now, among the Immortal Alliance's True Immortals, nearly seventy percent are from the Eighth Heaven, excluding the Dragon Clan, Phoenix, and Qilin Clan.

Among the three continents, Moon Continent is mainly inhabited by beast races, and Star Continent is mainly inhabited by the Human Race.

And the innermost Sun Continent is a mix of myriad races, with even Divine Beasts frequently appearing.

However, the best and most central area is now occupied by the Celestial Race.

Although the Celestial Race's population is not as large as the pure Human Race, it is far above other races, and their strength is also formidable. They gradually excluded other races from the central area of the Sun Continent.

The disputes in the Eighth Heaven are not much less intense than those in the Lower Realm.

However, the Immortal Alliance has regulations: as long as the conflicts between the various clans on the three continents do not exceed a certain limit, True Immortal Rank existences are not allowed to interfere.

This is only natural. Tracing back millions of years, everyone was brought up by a True Immortal. Who doesn't have some backing in the Immortal Alliance?

If True Immortals were allowed to intervene, the conflict between two clans would quickly turn into a conflict between the True Immortals of various clans in the Immortal Alliance. At that point, it would quickly fall apart, and no one would be able to play anymore.

In this situation, the Celestial Race, with its large population and strong power, naturally gained an absolute advantage. Currently, they seem to be poised to exclude all other races and monopolize the Sun Continent.

Yu Weichen and other True Immortals of the Human Race watched, greatly displeased, but there was nothing they could do.

Fortunately, no matter how chaotic things got below, the Immortal Alliance was still there to maintain order above.

Currently, the Immortal Alliance has over a hundred True Immortals, but only seven Immortal Lords.

They are Celestial Immortal Langhuan Immortal Lord of the Human Race, Vermillion Bird Immortal Lord of the Phoenix, Overturning Sea Immortal Lord of the Dragon Clan, Xuan Lin Immortal Lord of the Qilin Clan, and the two Immortal Lords of the Celestial Race, Tianyuan Immortal Lord and Wandering Mind Immortal Lord.

These six Immortal Lords represent the five strongest races of the Immortal Alliance.

The last Immortal Lord does not belong to the five races, but is the most ancient and esteemed Immortal Lord in the current Immortal Alliance, the Bai Ze Immortal Lord.

Just by hearing his name, one knows that this Immortal Lord's True God is the Bai Ze Divine Beast.

He is also the only known Bai Ze Divine Beast in the entire Nine Heavens.

However, the Immortal Alliance's powerhouses are not limited to just seven Immortal Lords.

After all, Immortal Lord is just a title, not a strength Realm.

There are also some existences who have not received the title of Immortal Lord, but whose strength is not much inferior to an Immortal Lord. Without exception, they are all existences far surpassing ordinary True Immortals.

Immortal Lords possess special significance and serve as leaders of the Immortal Alliance, so their title should not be used lightly. Therefore, these powerhouses are often referred to as Yuan Lords.

For example, Golden Feather Yuanjun of the Golden-winged Great Peng Clan, Immortal Sovereign Dijiang who is a rare heaven and earth species like Bai Ze, Nine Phoenix Yuanjun of the Nine-Headed Bird Clan, the Dragon Clan's second strongest Golden Scale Yuanjun, and the infamous Devouring Heaven Yuanjun of the Taotie Clan, among others.

Perhaps some of these Yuan Lord powerhouses are slightly weaker than Immortal Lords in terms of strength, but some have not become Immortal Lords simply due to other reasons.

For example, it is said that Golden Feather Yuanjun's strength even surpasses most of the Seven Great Immortal Lords, and he is the only powerhouse in the entire Immortal Alliance who can single-handedly contend with the Dragon Clan's Overturning Sea Immortal Lord.

He failed to become an Immortal Lord simply because his temperament was too arrogant and he was not suitable to lead the Immortal Alliance. Additionally, although the Golden-winged Great Peng Clan is powerful, their numbers are extremely small, and their say in the Immortal Alliance is inferior to other clans.

In short, the Seven Great Immortal Lords and these Yuan Lord-level powerhouses are the peak existences in the entire Immortal Alliance, and arguably, the entire Nine Heavens.

Below the Immortal Lords in the Immortal Alliance are the Heaven Protectors.

Those who can become Heaven Protectors are all powerful and highly respected veteran True Immortals from various groups.

Currently, the Immortal Alliance has thirty-six Heaven Protectors.

Yu Weichen is one of them, and Wei Yitian, whom they encountered at the Immortal Sect earlier, is also one.

Also, Shangqing Ancestor Hong Yucheng, who had a conflict with Zhong Qing, and the Old Ancestors of the Four Great Immortal Sects of the Second Heaven, all belong to the Heaven Protector rank.

The thirty-six Heaven Protectors hold important positions throughout the Immortal Alliance and can be said to be the backbone of the Immortal Alliance.

Of course, this also does not mean that True Immortals who are not Heaven Protectors are weaker than Heaven Protectors.

In short, the entire Immortal Alliance is filled with hidden Dragons and crouching Tigers, and countless powerhouses.

Even for great clans like the Dragon and Phoenix, besides the members who openly joined the Immortal Alliance, it's hard to guarantee that there aren't any True Immortal Rank existences secretly hidden.

Fortunately, although there are some minor frictions among the various factions in the Immortal Alliance, they are generally united.

After all, everyone shares a common goal.

That is to break through the shackles and return to the outside world.

Upon hearing this, Zhong Qing finally brought up a question he had harbored for a long time.

"Brother Yu, after all this talk, I still don't know why we are trapped in the Nine Heavens?"

"Didn't the myriad races move into the Nine Heavens to escape disaster back then? How did it end up that we can't leave?"
