147: The powerful twin demons

Leaving the village chief's house, Xie Ning and the other three fell into silence.

Uncle Li, however, was lying on a bench, still unconscious.

Hearing the commotion, the Fierce Demon turned its head. It first glanced at Fei Shanqiu with a grunt, then saw Xie Ning and walked over, letting out a low growl.

"Master, it says it has something it wants to ask for your help with."

Little Mantis appeared before Xie Ning at some point, acting as his translator.

Looking at the clear-eyed Fierce Demon before him and comparing its attributes to the previous one, Xie Ning knew that this was the Fierce Demon Fei Shanqiu was looking for. From its eyes, he could also tell it was likely the one that took Le Le and Uncle Li but didn't kill them.

"You son of a turtle, when did you get a big brother? How come your daddy didn't know..."

Before Fei Shanqiu could finish, he was sent flying by a punch from the Fierce Demon, crashing out through the window.

Xie Ning and the other two simply ignored this.

"Where is he now?" Xie Ning asked.

Little Mantis translated: "Before I left, he had completely lost control. He should be on his way here now."

Suddenly, Qin Tianyu's expression shifted, and with a flash of black light, he vanished.

This Fierce Demon's appearance was slightly different from before, changing from three heads to two. The Fierce Demon head that was originally on the right shoulder had completely disappeared, fusing with the heads of Yang Kai and Xiao Ru.

After the Fusion, both Yang Kai and Xiao Ru had grown fangs and sharp horns. Combined with their blood-filled mouths, they looked extremely hideous.

Beside this Fierce Demon were several figures similar to the Wandering Souls from the night but more solid. They included men, women, the elderly, and children, all looking somewhat similar, and they were picking up scraps of meat from the ground to eat.

Terrified villagers fled toward the village, wailing and screaming along the way. When those in front fell, those behind stepped right over them.

None of them dared to look back, so they didn't notice that those Wandering Souls were the family of bullies who had been killed by Yang Kai.

While Qin Tianyu's group of three held back the Wandering Souls, Xie Ning, his two beasts, and the Silver Rank 3 Single-headed Fierce Demon had already engaged the Gemini Fierce Demon.

The two heads of Yang Kai and Xiao Ru gradually separated to the left and right, and the body split accordingly, revealing another two arms.

When the transformation ended, two Gemini Fierce Demons appeared on the scene—or rather, these two combined were the true Gemini Fierce Demon.
