3: What's going on?

As a Second-generation rich, getting into the Zhongzhou University that everyone dreamed of wasn't anything special for Vilan.

After all, his family had donated two buildings to the school.

He had actually rarely played games over the years, though he might have had some interest in them when he was a child.

But battle games and adventure games were everywhere, which made him lose interest in gaming entirely.

If his father hadn't said that he would be thrown to another continent to fend for himself if he couldn't get his graduation certificate, he probably would have been out driving his sports car and living it up long ago.

Why would he be in the dormitory agonizing over his assessment?

Originally, he didn't have much of an impression of his Roommate, Ye Bai. He was generally quiet and spent his days buried in his holographic pod.

But today, Ye Bai said he had made a game, and Vilan thought he might as well play it since he was bored.

Who would have thought that after playing it, Vilan felt that all the games he had played before were trash.

This game was different from the previous ones where everyone just shot at each other with guns; in this game, every hero had their own skills.

The gameplay was also particularly interesting. Even if you couldn't win a fight, you could still achieve victory by pushing towers.

The more Vilan played, the more hooked he became.

He was so hooked that he kept shouting for round after round, until the four of them looked up and realized it was already dawn.

No matter how much Ye Bai liked playing Honor of Kings, he couldn't handle playing like this. His face was pale as he said, "I can't do it, I really can't do it anymore."

If he didn't sleep, he might actually die suddenly!

But Vilan and the other three Roommates grabbed him. "One more round, just one last round!"

Ye Bai lay down in the holographic pod in a panic. "I really can't anymore."

With that, the holographic pod closed.

Vilan and the other two were now like Mahjong players missing their fourth; their excitement was at its peak, but they were short one person.

"Ye Bai can't be woken up now. He's way too weak."

"How about..." Chen Chen spoke up, "we can call others to play together!"

Grom: "Makes sense. I'll go call someone right now."

Zhongzhou University.

Yu Si had just woken up when he heard a knock on the door. He opened the dormitory door to find Grom standing there.

"Is something the matter?"

Grom chuckled, put his arm around Yu Si's shoulder, and walked out. "Brother, I have a super fun game here."

He was certain Yu Si would definitely like Honor of Kings; after all, this guy was a well-known gaming fanatic.

Yu Si had no reaction when he heard this. For him, he had played almost every game on the market.

Would a veteran gamer need someone who rarely plays games to recommend a game to him?

Of course not.

However, he still gave him some face and asked, "Which game?"

He usually had a good relationship with Grom. He thought that since Grom was recommending a game, he must be interested in gaming now.

Just as well, as a veteran gamer, he could guide this newcomer.

But Grom brought him to his own dormitory. "Honor of Kings. It's a game made by Ye Bai."

Yu Si: ... Hearing this, he no longer had any illusions.

"Fifty for the promotion."

Grom shook his head. "I'm not asking you to help promote it. This game Ye Bai made is really amazing. The four of us played all night. Ye Bai is too tired, and the three of us are just missing one person."

He spoke very sincerely.

Yu Si looked at them and noticed that their mental state was indeed a mix of excitement and exhaustion.

"Alright, I'll give it a try."

As he said this, Grom immediately sent the game to Yu Si.

They weren't worried about Yu Si plagiarizing the game. One should know that Blue Star was very protective of original works.

While Ye Bai was making the game, the holographic pod was constantly backing it up.

In other words, from the moment Ye Bai started making this game, it was already branded with his name.

No one could claim it was made by someone else.

"Honor of Kings?" Yu Si looked at the game's name, somewhat confused.

After entering the game, he was taught step-by-step by the three enthusiastic guys.

"Got it?" Chen Chen let out a long sigh of relief. He couldn't wait to crush a noob like Yu Si.

Yu Si held his phone with both hands. "I think I get it. Want to play a round?"

"Come on, come on!" The three of them shouted as they entered the game.

At this time, Ye Bai still didn't know that these guys hadn't chosen to sleep, but had instead called someone else to keep playing.

He lay in the holographic pod and drifted completely into dreamland.

And just after Yu Si played two rounds and got hammered twice, his phone suddenly lit up.

It was his Roommate messaging him, asking where he had gone.

Yu Si replied, "Next door."

A moment later, a man with curly hair walked over. "No, I thought you went to buy us breakfast."

Their whole dorm was waiting, almost starving to death.

Yu Si was too busy playing to hear him. Seeing this, Suo Yuanli leaned in to see what he was playing.

He saw several little figures fighting on the screen. He frowned and watched for a long time.

During which he kept asking—

"What is this? Why does pressing this button once trigger a special effect?"

"Eh, why do you win if you keep attacking this thing that looks like a fortress?"

"What was that thing you just clicked?"

At this moment, he had long forgotten he came to find Yu Si to go buy breakfast for the two starving Roommates back in their dorm.

Until the remaining two Roommates also came looking.

Before long, it became three people crowding around them, constantly shouting directions.

Meanwhile, people from other dorms occasionally dropped by, and once they did, they never left.

Until the dorm was packed with people.

Someone peeked curiously at the dorm door. "What's going on?"

The person at the door kindly replied, "They seem to be playing a game Ye Bai made. I heard it's really fun. The guys inside are totally hooked."

The person said "oh" and craned his neck even harder to see what game it was.

Unfortunately, he couldn't see anything; he could only hear the intense shouting inside.

Not until the afternoon did Ye Bai wake up. In his daze, he mumbled, "Best Director Award, hehe."

He reached out to feel his trophy, but no matter how he felt around, he couldn't find anything.

Until he felt the hard shell of the pod, and he suddenly snapped awake.

Damn, I forgot I already transmigrated.

Ye Bai opened the holographic pod and heard a noise like a wet market; the entire dormitory was packed with people.

"What's the situation?!"

Someone saw him wake up and hurriedly shouted, "Ye Bai, share that game of yours with us, will you?"

They had been waiting here all day. The players had changed in rounds, and fortunately, Vilan and the others had taken the time to share the game with others.

Otherwise, the entire floor of the dormitory would have been blocked.

Those still waiting here were the ones who hadn't received the game's installation package yet.

Ye Bai looked confusedly at the dorm full of people. "Good heavens."

What's the situation!

I've only slept for a few hours, not a few days, right?

Are these people waiting here just to play Honor of Kings?
