410: Chapter 410 What if I hit you? If you're not happy, go back and call for backup!
The Taihu Clan Disciples, who were usually so arrogant, were now beaten until their faces were bruised and swollen, scurrying away with their heads in their hands.
Some had faces covered in blood, some had their clothes torn to shreds, some had large clumps of hair ripped out, and others had even lost their shoes, running across the ground barefoot.
A few tried to escape, but the Hehuan Sect Disciples gave them no chance at all. They chased them down, pinned them, and beat them.
"Running? Why are you running? Didn't you sound so lively just a moment ago?"
"Come on, keep calling out for yours truly to hear!"
"Call out! Why did you stop?!"
"Who just said they wanted our Sect Master to pay with her life? Step out! Let me see how many heads you have!"
As one of the leaders, with his Golden Core Stage cultivation, Zhou Kun should theoretically have been able to stabilize the situation.
But he was currently beaten into a daze.
He tried to organize a counterattack, but the people around him were being knocked down one after another, and no one was listening to him at all.
"Stop! Everyone stop!" he shouted sternly. "Has your Hehuan Sect gone mad? You dare to start a fight on Taihu Clan territory? Are you not afraid of being wiped out? The Elders of our Taihu Clan will not let you off!"
No sooner had he finished speaking than a fist the size of a sandbag slammed into his face.
Zhou Kun's vision went black, and he flew backward, rolling several times on the ground before coming to a stop.
He struggled to climb up; half his face was swollen like a pig's head, blood was dripping from the corner of his mouth, and one eye was swollen shut.
His brocade robe was covered in dirt and bloodstains, and the spirit sword at his waist was nowhere to be found.
"Who? Who hit me?" he roared, his voice cracking.
Zhou Daniu stood before him, grinning and revealing two rows of white teeth. "Your grandfather here did it. What? Not convinced?"
Zhou Kun widened his eyes, looking at him in disbelief. "You... you trash at the Foundation Establishment Stage, you dare to hit me? Do you know who I am? I am the direct descendant of the Zhou Family's eldest branch! My cousin is Zhou Jingxing! Our Zhou Family will not let you off!"
"Zhou Jingxing?" Zhou Daniu laughed heartily. "That cousin of yours has already had his head blown off by our Sect Master's spear! If you're not convinced, go down there and complain to him!"
He punched Zhou Kun in the stomach. Zhou Kun let out a miserable shriek and doubled over like a boiled shrimp.
Zhou Daniu then drove a knee into his face. Zhou Kun fell backward, his nose spraying blood, the back of his head slamming against the ground, and stars dancing before his eyes.
"Golden Core Stage? Is that all?" Zhou Daniu sneered, stepping on his chest. "What did you just say? You want our Sect Master to pay with her life? You want Sect Leader Xiao to surrender? Say that again for yours truly, dare you?"
Zhou Kun was breathless from being stepped on; he struggled to get up, but Zhou Daniu's foot pressed down on him like a mountain.
A sharp pain shot through his ribs, as if they were about to snap at any moment.
"You... you..." he struggled to spit out a few words, his eyes filled with terror.
Zhou Daniu leaned down, patted his face, and smiled. "Remember, the one who beat you is your grandfather Zhou Daniu. From now on, whenever you see anyone from the Hehuan Sect, take a detour. Do you understand?"
Zhou Kun wanted to say something, but he couldn't catch his breath and passed out cold.
Zhou Daniu kicked him to the side and looked around, discovering that a large swath of the Taihu Clan members had already fallen.
Those who were still resisting were also surrounded by Hehuan Sect Disciples and given a sound thrashing.
"Satisfying!" He laughed, looking up at the sky. "Fucking satisfying! I've never felt this good in my entire life!"
Li Ergou walked over from the side, patted his shoulder, and smiled. "Daniu, you were too ruthless with your strikes. That Zhou Kun is at least at the Golden Core Stage, and you beat him into such a state."
Zhou Daniu chuckled. "So what if he's Golden Core Stage? Even Golden Core Stage cultivators are trash! You didn't see the look on his face earlier; his nose was pointed up at the sky. I've been annoyed by him for a long time!"
On the other side, Mohu, as Mo Feng's direct Disciple with Golden Core Stage cultivation, was also currently taking a beating.
The one hitting him was none other than Li Ergou.
Although Li Ergou was only at the Foundation Establishment Stage, his speed was shockingly fast. He circled Mohu, greeting his face with punch after punch.
Mohu had a burly build and immense strength, but speed was his weakness.
He wanted to grab Li Ergou, but Li Ergou was as slippery as a loach and couldn't be caught at all.
He swung a punch, but Li Ergou dodged to the side and backhanded a punch into his ribs.
He kicked out again, but Li Ergou did a backflip to avoid it, taking the opportunity to kick him in the knee.
"You... you stand still!" Mohu roared, his face turning beet red.
Li Ergou chuckled. "Stand still? Do you think I'm stupid? You're a Golden Core Stage cultivator hitting me, a Foundation Establishment Stage cultivator, and you won't let me run? Who do you think you are?"
He punched Mohu in the back of the head, causing Mohu to stumble and nearly fall.
Li Ergou circled around to his front and kicked him in the stomach.
"This kick is for our Sect Master!"
Another kick. "This kick is for Sect Leader Xiao!"
Another kick. "This kick is for all the Disciples of our Hehuan Sect who have been bullied by you!"
Mohu was kicked back repeatedly until he finally fell to the ground with a thud, unable to get up again.
He lay on the ground, gasping for air, his eyes filled with fear.
"You... you... you will regret this..." he muttered. "My Master, Elder Mo Feng, will not let you off..."
Li Ergou squatted down, patted his face, and smiled. "Regret? Wait until your Elder Mo Feng comes, then you can ask him if he regrets it. But looking at that old thing, I suspect he wouldn't dare to come."
Mohu was trembling with rage, but covered in injuries and unable to move, he could only lie on the ground and glare.
