177: The most beautiful and gentle master

When Qin Wushang opened his eyes, he found himself floating in an endless expanse of pure white.

There was no sky, no ground, only a boundless sea of milky-white mist, as if soaked in diluted moonlight.

Above his head hung a bright moon; it was not real, yet it was more brilliant than reality.

It was translucent like mutton-fat jade, with pale golden patterns flowing inside, like a galaxy within the jade Seal.

"This is..."

As soon as he spoke, the bright moon suddenly rippled.

A figure stepped out from the bright moon.

At first, it was just a hazy blur of white, but then the outline gradually became clear. A simple white dress was lifted by an invisible gale, its hem fluttering like an unfolding Epiphyllum flower.

She walked barefoot through the air. With every step she took, a halo rippled from the soles of her feet, spreading into the mist and turning into layers of silvery ripples.

Qin Wushang held his breath.

He had never seen Chu Yuehua like this before.

No, perhaps this was the real Chu Yuehua!

She had cast aside the crown and majesty of the Empress, shedding the cold exterior she wore every day.

At this moment, she was merely an immortal stepping on the moon, a phantasm conjured from moonlight.

Her jade-like feet were the first thing to catch his eye.

They were truly the most breathtaking creation in all of heaven and earth!

Her ankles were so slender they could be held in one hand, her skin so glistening white it was almost transparent, and one could see the veins quietly flowing beneath the skin.

Her ten toes were as round as pearls, tinged with a faint pink hue. Her toenails were trimmed neatly and cleanly, their surfaces shimmering with a pearlescent luster, as if adorned with tiny fragments of moonlight.

She lightly tapped her toes against the Void Realm, like a carp entering water, and landed gracefully three feet in front of Qin Wushang.

The moment her soles touched the mist, the light and shadow of the entire space trembled!

All the light seemed to be drawn to those jade feet; everything around faded, and only that glistening white became the sole focus of the world.

"Ma... Revered Master?"

"Am I dreaming?"

Qin Wushang's voice was dry; he suspected he was dreaming.

Chu Yuehua lowered her eyes to look at him, a smile slowly curling at the corners of her lips.

That smile captivated the moon, captivated the sea, and captivated all of Qin Wushang's heart and soul.

Her eyes, usually cold as ice, now curved into gentle crescents. What they held was not the majesty of an emperor, but melting spring water.

A fleeting, stunning beauty!

"Guess."

Her voice had changed too!

It was no longer the aloof coldness from high above, but carried a hint of languid tenderness, like a cat just waking up; the trailing end of her voice was long and lingering, tickling the tip of one's heart.

Qin Wushang stared at her blankly for a long time, then suddenly laughed.

"It must be a dream."

"Revered Master... how could you smile like this?"

Chu Yuehua did not answer.

She stepped forward, her bare feet treading into the mist, the ripples spreading out and washing over Qin Wushang's ankles.

Then, she reached out her hands!

Those hands were also breathtakingly beautiful, with ten long, slender fingers like jade shoots, and fingernails of a healthy pale pink, gently cupping Qin Wushang's face.

Her movements were very slow, as if afraid of disturbing something.

Her palms were warm, her fingertips slightly cool.

Qin Wushang could smell the cold fragrance emanating from her, like plum blossoms blooming after snow, or an Epiphyllum quietly blossoming under the moonlight.

That fragrance wove its way into his nostrils, leaving him somewhat dazed.

Then, Chu Yuehua leaned down and kissed him.

The moment their lips touched, Qin Wushang's mind went blank.

Those lips were incredibly soft, carrying a sweet, fresh scent, as if she were holding flower petals.

He instinctively opened his mouth, his tongue tentatively reaching out, touching her pearly teeth.

Chu Yuehua's body noticeably stiffened for an instant.

Her eyelashes fluttered violently, like the wings of a startled butterfly.

But in the end, she did not pull away; instead, she parted her lips slightly, allowing him to enter.

This was a long and lingering kiss.

Moonlight flowed between their lips and teeth, and the mist churned around them. Qin Wushang could feel Chu Yuehua's inexperienced response.

She had clearly never experienced this before; every movement was filled with tentativeness and shyness, yet she stubbornly refused to show weakness.

After a long time, when they parted, a silver thread stretched between their lips before breaking.

Chu Yuehua's face was completely flushed.

That was not a color that rouge could dye, but a peach-blossom pink hue seeping from beneath her skin, spreading from her cheeks to her ears, and down to her slender white neck.

Her breathing was slightly hurried, her chest rising and falling with each breath, the curves beneath her simple white dress faintly visible.

Qin Wushang reached out and pulled her into his embrace.

He buried his face in the crook of her neck and took a deep breath, the cold fragrance filling his lungs.

"Revered Master, you are truly beautiful."

He said in a low voice, his tone husky with passion.

Chu Yuehua's body stiffened again, but quickly relaxed.

She raised her hand, gently pressing the back of Qin Wushang's head, pushing his face deeper into her embrace.

This action carried a certain unquestionable possessiveness, yet the gentle trembling of her fingertips betrayed the panic in her heart.

"Then... do you like it?"

She asked, her voice so soft as if afraid of shattering the dream.

"Like this today, am I... the kind of gentle woman that all men in the world like?"

Qin Wushang raised his head and looked directly into her eyes.

Those Phoenix eyes, usually cold, were now shimmering with moisture, holding an unprecedented nervousness and expectation.

He suddenly understood!

This aloof Empress was clumsily learning to be gentle, learning to be a woman he could like.

His heart felt as if it had been struck hard by something.

"I like it."

He answered without hesitation, then added.

"But it's not just because you are gentle."

Chu Yuehua blinked, her long eyelashes fluttering like butterfly wings.

"Then what else for?"

Qin Wushang smiled, his fingertips brushing over her burning cheeks.

"The majestic and awe-inspiring Revered Master, the more unattainable you are, the more it makes one unable to resist the desire to conquer and hold you in one's arms."

"That is the delusional desire to pluck the moon when gazing up at it."

"And the gentle, stunningly beautiful Revered Master..."

He paused, his voice softening further.

"With a mere turn of your eyes, you make this disciple willing to give everything to protect you for a lifetime of peace and smoothness."

"That is the obsessive desire to use one's flesh and blood as a prison when embracing the moon."

Chu Yuehua was stunned.

After a long while, she suddenly laughed.

That laugh was different from before!

This was no longer deliberate gentleness, but a laugh from the bottom of her heart, carrying a hint of relief and joy.

Her eyebrows were arched, her lips upturned, and in that instant, her entire face bloomed with a breathtaking radiance, making even the bright moon above pale in comparison.

"Smooth-talker."

She scolded softly, yet her fingertips gently combed through Qin Wushang's hair.

Then, she released her hand from the back of his head and turned to wrap her arms around his neck.

The simple white dress suddenly lost its restraint, its sash sliding off silently, collapsing into the mist like flowing moonlight.

The vast white space rippled violently.

Ripples spread out in circles, the mist churning like a tidal wave.

The light of that bright moon suddenly intensified, enveloping their figures and turning them into a hazy cocoon of light.
