222: Understanding the principles of Yin and Yang, the lost child

Inside the chaos yin-yang cauldron, within the Yin and Yang realm.

The passage of time here differs from the outside world, and the dao rhyme is naturally formed.

Qin Wushang sat cross-legged in the center of the Yin-Yang Dao Diagram, his eyes tightly closed, his aura profound.

Two streams of pure, condensed Yin and Yang Qi, one black and one white, moved like living spirit snakes, or perhaps ancient Dragons, inhaled and exhaled through his nostrils, then coiled around his body, slowly wandering.

The black Qi was extremely Yin and cold, heavy and dense like mercury!

The white Qi was extremely Yang and rigid, scorching like the blazing sun!

The two were distinct, yet blended together, forming a perfectly cyclical Taiji pattern that enveloped him.

Suddenly, his body shook slightly, and the Yin and Yang Qi coiled around him accelerated, madly surging into his Dao Palace, resonating with that strange sapling.

"Hum!"

Qin Wushang opened his eyes abruptly, a brilliant divine light shining within them.

Deep within his left pupil, a pure white Yang fish swam, while in his right, a pitch-black Yin fish floated. As he opened and closed his eyes, the Yin-Yang Dao Diagram coalesced.

"Success!"

He whispered to himself, carrying a sense of exhilaration after a Breakthrough in understanding.

"Law of Yin and Yang, comprehension successful!"

Looking inward at his Dao Palace, beside the strange seven-leaf sapling, two new buds had quietly sprouted.

The buds grew at a speed visible to the naked eye, turning into two palm-sized leaves.

One was pure black as ink, with the Laws of extreme Yin and softness flowing through its veins.

The other was pure white as snow, with the Laws of extreme Yang and rigidity surging through its veins.

The two leaves trembled slightly, echoing each other, forming a tiny Taiji cycle that added endless vitality and balance to the entire sapling.

The Law of Yin and Yang!

Qin Wushang retracted the vision in his eyes and exhaled a long breath of turbid air, which itself was divided into black and white colors.

He felt that his perception of the world and his application of power had gained a completely different layer of understanding.

The rotation of Yin and Yang is the Foundation of all things.

He tilted his head slightly and looked to his side.

Mu Bingyun was within arm's reach, also sitting cross-legged, but her posture was entirely different from his.

She was completely unclothed, her perfect body—a masterpiece of the Creator—exposed without reservation in the hazy Chaos halo.

Her skin was crystal clear and whiter than snow, glowing with a warm jade luster. Her curves were breathtaking: full breasts, a slender waist, round and slender jade legs...

Every curve was impeccably exquisite, and combined, they formed a cold, holy beauty.

However, at this moment, this perfect jade body was covered by a layer of crystal-clear profound ice.

She was like a peerless treasure sealed in amber, or a goddess ice sculpture carved from ten-thousand-year cold ice, breathtakingly beautiful.

Within the ice layer, one could faintly see streams of scorching, fire-like energy slowly flowing and constantly colliding.

That was the fire of desire!

She was facing the desire ignited in her heart by Qin Wushang in the most direct way, tempering her own Dao.

"Crack... Bang!"

Suddenly, a soft cracking sound rang out, and the profound ice covering Mu Bingyun's entire body exploded.

The ice crystals scattered, and her uncovered, flawless jade body was completely revealed.

Her skin was like jade, glowing with a heart-stirring luster.

Her long eyelashes fluttered, and she slowly opened her eyes.

Those ice-blue eyes were no longer cold pools, but melting spring water.

Her gaze shifted, possessing less coldness and more of the coquettish laziness and charm imbued by desire.

She seemed to have expended a great deal of energy; her breath was somewhat shallow, her red lips slightly parted as she breathed softly.

Then, her body went soft, and she fell directly into the arms Qin Wushang had opened in time.

With warmth and fragrance in his arms, Qin Wushang examined her closely without speaking.

Mu Bingyun pressed her burning cheek against his solid chest, feeling his powerful heartbeat, and whispered softly.

"...More."

Hearing this, Qin Wushang frowned slightly, wrapping one arm around her smooth, delicate jade back.

"Still unable to achieve a Breakthrough?"

Mu Bingyun shook her head gently in his arms, her hair tickling him.

"Not enough... I feel it's still lacking a little."

"I can feel the rudiments of the Domain, but I cannot completely condense and stabilize it."

She tilted her head up slightly, her ice-blue eyes looking at him with watery intensity, clearly reflecting his face.

"My heart... my love for you, it seems, has not yet reached the true meaning capable of fully supporting that Domain."

She paused, her tone returning to its usual directness.

"Perhaps it is because, between you and me right now, there is only physical pleasure and desire."

"I like you; I have liked you since the first moment I saw you. I am very clear on this point."

"But I know that you, regarding me... perhaps only have a desire for this skin. For now, there is no real love, and perhaps this is the difficulty in the Breakthrough."

Qin Wushang fell silent.

The directness of the woman in his arms made him somewhat distracted.

What were his feelings for Mu Bingyun?

Stunned by her beauty and temperament?

Yes!

Enjoying the pleasure and stimulation of being intimate with her!

This he admitted!

The word "love" was too heavy and too vague.

If speaking of "like," there were indeed women in his heart he liked!

For example, Ye Hongfu, and his Revered Master, especially his little tsundere Revered Master!

They truly lived in his heart!

But Mu Bingyun, this woman who was as cold and clear as ice and snow, and surprisingly proactive—he appreciated her, did not reject her, and was even somewhat fascinated by her contradictory nature.

But as for so-called love, he himself could not clearly define it!

Perhaps it was truly as she said; at this moment, what dominated was the male instinct for possession and desire towards a beautiful female.

"It doesn't matter."

Mu Bingyun seemed to sense the complex emotions beneath his silence, reaching out with cool fingers to gently smooth the slight frown between his brows.

Her voice was very light, very soft, without its usual coldness.

"I am confident that I will make you fall in love with me."

"Just like ice and snow will eventually melt, and seeds will always sprout."

As she spoke, she adjusted her posture to lie more comfortably on his solid thighs.

She looked up at him, her ice-blue eyes clear and focused, very serious.

Qin Wushang lowered his head and smiled, his fingers unconsciously twisting a strand of her cold hair.

"Am I that attractive? Worth you all... leaning on me one by one?"

He paused, his gaze becoming somewhat profound.

"Sometimes I always feel that everything is going too smoothly, which is somewhat abnormal."

"Whether it is the unpredictable Devil Emperor Su Qingjue, the paranoid Lin Ziyao, or you... you are all too proactive."

"According to common sense, women with such status, talent, and Heart-Nature like them—aren't they all arrogant and self-respecting?"

Yet in this life, they were terrifyingly proactive towards him!

After listening, a complex emotion flashed through Mu Bingyun's ice-blue eyes.

She raised her hand, her fingertips gently tracing the contour of Qin Wushang's jaw, and whispered: "Who wouldn't admire a good man?"

"You have peerless talent, are favored by Luck, have a resolute Heart-Nature, and your appearance... also suits my tastes very well."

She admitted it frankly.

Like is like, love is love; she would not deceive, for such was her heart.

"As for them, they probably all feel that you have a great possibility of becoming the contemporary Great Emperor who holds the mandate of heaven in the future."

"Investing early in a future Great Emperor—this deal, no matter how you look at it, is not a loss, is it?"

She spoke very realistically, and it was also the truth.

In her past life, she had had a physical intimacy with him due to an accidental encounter, but due to misunderstandings and pride, she had missed out on him. By the time she understood her own heart, time had already passed, and it was too late for regrets.

Since heaven had given her a chance to start over, she would not make the same mistake again.

To love someone is to bravely fight for it, express it, and possess it; even if it is called having ulterior motives, it is better than endless future regrets.

"Mandate of heaven..."

Qin Wushang chewed on these two words.

"Heh, who can say for sure?"

"The Emperors Path is fought with bones paving the way."

"Until the very last moment when the dust settles, who can assert that they are the true protagonist, the true child of the plane?"

Mu Bingyun looked at him and said no more.

She gently wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face in his neck, greedily breathing in his reassuring scent.

"So... can you love me one more time?"

"In your way... help me, to charge at that barrier one more time."

"I want to achieve a Breakthrough to God King."

She breathed like an orchid, the warm air spraying onto Qin Wushang's sensitive skin.

Qin Wushang's body stiffened slightly; he swallowed, but still slowly shook his head.

"I cannot."

His voice carried clear restraint.

"There isn't enough time."

He gently held Mu Bingyun's hands which were causing trouble at his waist, pushed her slightly away, and looked into her eyes.

"And, always doing this, it would inevitably be... monotonous, and without much interest."

Hearing this, a flash of disappointment crossed Mu Bingyun's eyes.

Qin Wushang continued: "I have an appointment with someone; the ten-day deadline is approaching, and I need to go to Burial Sword Valley for a battle."

"If I linger here with you and miss the time, wouldn't it be laughable?"

He smiled and continued: "You know, I am considered a famous person now, with countless eyes watching me."

"I cannot do the act of breaking a promise."

Burial Sword Valley is located in the Rain Realm, and requires the use of an inter-realm teleportation Formation.

As a massive city in the Desolate Realm, Dragon City has such Formations, so that is not a problem.

But calculating the time, it was indeed time for him to set off.

As he spoke, he took a deep breath, suppressing the restlessness rising in his heart due to the beautiful scenery before him, gently helped Mu Bingyun up, and stood up himself.

With a thought, a white inner robe appeared out of thin air and draped over him, covering his strong body.

Mu Bingyun watched him silently for a moment, and with a wave of her hand, a brand new long dress as white as snow covered her delicate body, hiding all the infinite spring scenery.

"Be careful."

She whispered, her tone returning to its usual coldness, but the concern in her eyes was clearly visible.

"The duel may not necessarily be a fair one-on-one."

"In the Ancient Desolate Secret Realm, human hearts are unpredictable, especially regarding the temptation of the Emperor weapon and the Immortal Cauldron."

She paused and said: "I will stay here and, with the help of the aura of this Yin and Yang realm, try to attempt a Breakthrough to the God King Realm again."

"If I fail... I will go out to find you."

Qin Wushang nodded, looking at her exquisitely beautiful face, and that strange touch in his heart surfaced once again.

He raised his hand, wanting to stroke the top of her head, but halfway there, he felt the action was too intimate, and in the end, he just gently patted her shoulder.

"As you wish."

He uttered these two words, said no more, and with a flash, left the Yin and Yang realm.

Mu Bingyun stood alone.

She gazed at the place where Qin Wushang had disappeared, a complex expression appearing in her ice-blue eyes.

She gently touched her lower abdomen, where the warmth of his palm seemed to still remain.

"Qin Wushang!"

"In this life... I will absolutely not let you leave again."

"The child we lost..."

"I will get it back again."
