138: Chapter 138 Alien Race

Carlo clenched its empty palm as the ferocity on its face faded. It knew what this plea for help would cost, and it also knew it had no other choice.

The two deities of the same clan who received the plea were brothers born from the same batch of Bloodline. They had cooperated with each other for many years and had also fought for hundreds of years.

Baal controlled a one-hundred-thousand-square-kilometer Mud Sea Divine Kingdom. Its subordinate heavy armored crab soldiers excelled at sieges, but due to scarce resources, it had not expanded for thirty years.

Tuya's divine kingdom was similarly only one hundred thousand square kilometers. The sea was rich in stinging jellyfish, and their reproduction required a massive amount of flesh and blood, yet its inventory had long since bottomed out.

Previously, when Carlo failed to plunder the Mechanical Race, it had rejected the two's relief conditions. Baal and Tuya had demanded to partition its submarine mineral veins and seven island cities.

Now that the messaging scale had been sent out, it meant that Carlo was willing to open its divine kingdom coordinates, trading its own land for reinforcements.

Deep within the Void Realm, two wandering divine kingdoms changed direction simultaneously. The one-hundred-thousand-square-kilometer mud sea dragged grayish-yellow Divine Power, taking the lead to crash into the boundary of Carlo's divine kingdom.

The deep blue jellyfish divine kingdom on the other side followed closely behind. Large patches of toxic mist overflowed from the spatial rifts, completing a forced connection with Carlo's grayish-green sea area.

The Origins of the three divine kingdoms collided, causing the submarine earth veins to shift accordingly. Dozens of islands were pushed toward the outpost, and the divine kingdom's firmament split into three colors: grayish-green, earthy-yellow, and deep blue.

Standing at the main platform of the Formation tower, Wang Mu watched as the two coordinates on the spirit-probing plate rapidly expanded, with over two hundred thousand new auras surging in from the divine kingdoms on both sides.

Pressured by the triple Origin forces, the cross-border traction Formation's nine chains shook continuously. Several Formation bases were pulled out of the seabed, and the responsible Formation Master immediately replaced them with new stakes.

"Commander-in-Chief, two more First-Order alien divine kingdoms have connected. Their areas are both around one hundred thousand square kilometers, and the enemy troops are still increasing."

The young Formation Master reported the investigation results at an extremely fast pace. Red markers outside the outpost filled the Formation Plate completely, leaving no blank areas to be found.

Wang Mu projected the terrain of the three divine kingdoms onto the master map. Carlo was located in the north, Baal occupied the east, and Tuya controlled the west, perfectly surrounding the one-hundred-li arid land.

With the Origins of the three parties intertwining, the Nine Suns Heaven-Locking Formation found it difficult to continue expanding. If the Formation Plate was destroyed, the surrounding seawater would flood back into the seabed within a few breaths.

The outpost city walls had been built for less than half a day. Many Formation patterns had only completed their first round of connection, leaving the craftsmen no time to conduct pressure tests.

If the Immortal Martial Legion retreated back into the passageway, Carlo would definitely seize the opportunity to destroy the traction Formation, and the three divine kingdoms would also break away from this Void Realm.

If they stayed to hold their ground, the Immortal Martial Legion would have to rely on fifty thousand people to face the head-on siege of three First-Order Deities and hundreds of thousands of alien troops.

The edge of the eastern divine kingdom opened first, mud rolling from the spatial gap into the sea to pave a grayish-yellow road leading straight to the outpost.

A Scale Demon deity standing twenty zhang tall appeared, stepping on the mud waves. It carried a heavy crab shell on its back, and its six arms respectively gripped a war hammer and bone shields.

Baal's Divine Thought swept across the marine altar and then landed on Carlo's battered military Formation, rolling a mocking laugh out of its throat.

"Driven to ask for help by a newly emerged Human Race, you trash. You are about to completely lose the title of the blood sea left behind by the Father God."

The scales on Carlo's face fluttered constantly. In the past, it would have already made a move, but right now, Wuze and the five-headed magic lizard had died in battle, and the remaining troops had also lost their fighting spirit.

"Stop talking nonsense. Help me destroy that outpost, and the human divine kingdom will belong to you to partition. I only want to take back my own sea area."

Baal raised its war hammer and looked toward the city walls on the one-hundred-li arid land. Heavy artillery and fifty thousand sets of xueming mysterious armor fell into its field of vision.

Those profound armors all carried stable Law patterns. The smelted Materials alone were enough for it to replace the armor of one hundred thousand crab soldiers.

Since the Human Race could build an outpost on the seabed, they must possess a complete Formation Legacy. This Legacy could precisely make up for the shortcomings of the Mud Sea Divine Kingdom.

"I want all the human armor and their Formation Masters. After this battle is fought, you can talk about how much land you can keep."

Carlo gripped its bone staff tightly and pressed it toward the sea surface, recalling the remnants who had retreated to defend the islands. It no longer had the qualifications to argue conditions with Baal.

The toxic mist on the western side dispersed. Tuya sat on the back of a giant jellyfish, six bone spurs protruding from behind its shoulders, and its waist hung full of poison sacs.

Ignoring the two's dispute, its gaze crossed the outpost and stared at the cross-border passageway in the rear, calculating how many human citizens were on the other side of the passage.

The flesh and blood of the human citizens could feed the stinging jellyfish, and the human spiritual fields and medicinal gardens could also improve the toxic sea environment. This war had sufficient profits.

"My army will be responsible for the western front. After the city is breached, all the human flesh and blood will belong to me. Whoever dares to snatch it, I will first dump poison into their sea area."

Baal swung its war hammer, aiming at the eastern wall of the outpost, and one hundred thousand heavy armored crab soldiers stepped on the mud road to press forward.

These crab soldiers stood over two zhang tall, their double arms encased in heavy bone pincers. Their back carapaces were engraved with force-discharging Formation patterns, and hundreds of siege chariots were pushed at the very front.

In the western front's toxic mist, one hundred thousand jellyfish soldiers hovered above the sea surface. Each jellyfish dragged rows of poisonous stingers underneath, and their poison sacs constantly swelled with the sea breeze.

Among the islands on the northern front, Carlo gathered its remaining seventy thousand troops, mobilizing all the defending soldiers and priests within the city to patch together a military Formation close to one hundred thousand strong.

Three hundred thousand alien troops advanced from three directions. The clanging sound of weapons crossed the ocean waves, and the sky outside the outpost was suppressed by the toxic mist and alien Divine Power.

On the outpost city walls, the armored soldiers who had just finished recuperating donned their armor once more. The Artillery Battalion was split into three groups, and the muzzle of the guns turned toward different battlefronts in accordance with the master platform's military orders.

Craftsmen were still reinforcing the city walls within the Formation. As each Formation pattern completed its connection, a section of crimson-gold light band lit up, and the entire outpost gradually closed off.

The Medical Cultivator Camp sent Medicinal Pills and stretchers behind the walls on all three sides. Backup profound armor was laid out along the military roads, and all medical aid stations entered a wartime state.

The red dots on the spirit-probing plate continued to increase, and the young Formation Master in charge of recording had to replace three Formation boards in succession to complete the marking.

Wang Mu's gaze swept over the three hundred thousand alien troops on the master map. His command flag tapped consecutively, re-dividing the thirty-six sub-Formations into three groups.

"Lots of people? That just saves us the time of having to look for them."

Wang Shan stood on the central army's high platform. The nick on his crimson flame saber had already been repaired, and his shoulder armor was replaced with spare armor plates freshly sent from the Casting Workshop.

Gazing at the alien military Formations pressing over from three directions, his Battle Intent soared, and the Qi and blood suppressed for a hundred years continuously surged within his armor.

"The Shield Soldiers will split into three routes to hold the Formation Plates to the death. Retreat a single step and be executed. Whichever line falls into chaos first, I will personally go settle accounts with that line's commanding general!"

Three thousand Shield Soldiers were evenly divided into the three lines, while the remaining Heavy Armor Army formed twelve sub-Formations around the Shield Soldiers. Each line bore the pressure frontally with over ten thousand people.

Wang Mu left eight sub-Formations as the central army's reserve force, while the Sword Qi Battalion and the Medical Cultivator Camp were centrally coordinated. Wherever a gap appeared, the master platform would uniformly fill it in.

Two hundred Purple Mansion heavy artillery pieces were divided into seventy for the eastern line, seventy for the western line, and sixty for the northern line. Shell boxes were continuously delivered to the artillery positions along the three military roads.

In front of the eastern wall, Baal did not bother with probing. Its war hammer fell, and one hundred thousand heavy armored crab soldiers stepped on the mud waves to launch a full-army charge.

Hundreds of siege chariots lined up at the very front, their bone wheels grinding across the seabed. The fronts of the chariots were covered with three-zhang-long collision rams, targeting the Nine Suns Heaven-Locking Formation Plates directly.

Baal did not care whether Carlo's sea area was damaged; it only wanted to use the shortest time to destroy the Formation Plates, submerge the outpost, and snatch away human equipment and Legacy.

At the very same moment, Tuya on the west side raised its bone spurs, and one hundred thousand stinging jellyfish opened their poison sacs, whole patches of black poisonous needles obscuring the sea surface.

On the northern line, Carlo waved its bone staff. The remnant troops stepped over the yet-undried dark green bloody water, and thousands of priests in the rear army released corrosive sea mist.

Attacks from three sides pressed over simultaneously. The defensive Formation curtain above the outpost vibrated one after another, and the nine Formation suns were pushed inward by the Origins of the three divine kingdoms.

Wang Mu's command flag fell. The two hundred heavy artillery pieces turned toward three directions separately, and the Pure Yang fire liquid accumulated inside the gun barrels surged along the Formation patterns.

The first round of artillery fire crossed the city walls and smashed into the vanguard forces of the three alien races. Mud, toxic mist, and seawater were blown open by the waves of fire.

Dozens of siege chariots on the eastern line were blown to pieces. The crab soldiers in the rear stepped over the wreckage to continue advancing, their heavy carapaces blocking most of the flames.

The jellyfish legion on the western line dispersed in mid-air. The artillery shells tore open several gaps, and more poisonous needles pressed down toward the Sword Qi Battalion.

Having experienced the heavy artillery baptism, the Scale Demon army on the northern line actively dispersed the moment they saw the muzzles light up. Carlo used its divine kingdom Origin to roll up a sea wall to block the fire waves.

The three hundred thousand alien troops did not stop because of the first round of bombardment. The vanguard fell, and the rear immediately filled in, relying on their numbers to push the battlefront right in front of the city walls.

Shield walls on three sides rose simultaneously. The nine blood veins of the xueming mysterious armor connected along the array, and all thirty-six sub-Formations on the seabed lit up completely.

The siege chariots, heavy armored crab soldiers, stinging jellyfish, and Scale Demon remnants crashed into the defense line. The sounds of weapons, artillery fire, and roars suppressed the external tsunamis.

The xueming mysterious armor endured consecutive impacts. The seabed beneath the feet of the frontline armored soldiers constantly cracked, and the rear military Formation channeled power into every single Formation eye.

Wang Mu presided over the master platform, his command flag moving constantly among the three battlefronts. The eight sub-Formations were ready at any moment to fill the first gap that was torn open.

Wang Shan lifted his saber and walked toward the northern line, the armored soldiers along the way successively yielding the path. He walked straight forward, leaving behind a military order that spread throughout the outpost.

"As long as the city walls are here, the people are here! Today, no one even thinks about crossing our Formation Plates!"

The three hundred thousand allied alien troops squeezed into the one-hundred-li battlefield from three directions. The three shield walls vibrated backward under the impact, and the Immortal Martial meat-grinder Formation operated at full capacity.

Wang Pingan overlooked from the firmament and raised his hand to flick the divine core. "Comparing consumption? Then let's see who can outlast whom."
