26: Explaining Heaven and Earth

Just as he walked into the courtyard, Gu Wanquan had already placed the food on the table.

After breakfast, Su Yi called out to Gu Wanquan, who was about to sit back down and space out: "Wanquan, call Chaoge over. Your Master is going to guide you two in Cultivation!"

?

Gu Wanquan looked at Su Yi in surprise, even thinking for a moment that he had misheard.

His Master actually took the initiative to guide them in Cultivation?

In his previous life, Gu Wanquan pestered him relentlessly, but Master always made excuses and was unwilling to teach.

If it weren't for his exceptional talent, with Master's hands-off approach, let alone becoming the Leader of the Righteous Path, he'd struggle to clean a sewer.

Could it be that after Rebirth, the world had already changed?

Gu Wanquan walked up to Yin Chaoge and said a few words to him. Yin Chaoge also looked at Su Yi with a face full of disbelief.

"What's the meaning of this? Am I that useless in the eyes of these two brats? Damn it, it's time to restore Revered Master's glory!" Feeling the shock of his two disciples, Su Yi became displeased.

Su Yi coughed, put his hands behind his back, and walked up to the two who were already standing straight, saying with a serious expression: "Since I have taken you as disciples, I must be responsible for you. Today, I will first explain to you what Cultivation is!"

Gu Wanquan and Yin Chaoge simultaneously straightened their faces, bowing slightly as if to listen intently.

With memories of their previous lives, perhaps no one in this world understood Cultivation better than the two of them, yet there was not a trace of impatience on their faces.

To be able to listen to Master's teachings, even if Master was speaking nonsense, they would listen as if drinking sweet dew!

Su Yi was very satisfied with his two disciples' learning attitude. Teachers always like good students. After thinking for a moment, Su Yi began to introduce the Cultivation of this world to them.

The world is divided into three parts: Northern Xia, Southern Liang, and Western Chu. The three kingdoms have coexisted peacefully for over two hundred years.

The three kingdoms serve as mutual checks and balances, yet they also band together for warmth.

The reason is none other than the difficulties each faces beyond their borders.

In the extreme north, Savage Demons run rampant, posing the greatest threat to the Human Race!

Northern Xia has vast territory and a fierce populace, with a strong martial spirit prevailing. It stands alone against the Savage Demons on the northern plains.

To the west of Western Chu are the Hundred Tribes of the Western Regions. These tribes have long coveted the Central Plains, and conflicts are constant.

Further south of Southern Liang, the climate is hot, miasma is rampant, there are countless Tusi Strongholds, Witchcraft flourishes, governance is chaotic, and military conflicts are frequent.

Each of the three countries had its own difficulties; they wanted the other to die, but also feared if the other truly would die.

Internal strife is human nature, and also the source of the Human Race's enduring prosperity.

The Human Race has existed for tens of thousands of years, rising and falling multiple times, not by the affection of Heaven and Earth, but by self-improvement, occupying the most fertile lands in Heaven and Earth throughout history.

And the current location of Su Yi and the others is Gunzhou Prefecture of Great Xia.

Northern Xia is divided into thirteen circuits and three hundred sixty prefectures, and Gunzhou Prefecture is merely an inconspicuous one among them.

Peace has reigned for a long time, and it seems all parties have found a balance point for coexistence, leading to a life of peace and contentment.

Indeed, this world is an immortal-martial world, yet there are no Heavenly Gods and Buddhas dwelling in the frosty heavens, observing the human realm.

A thousand years ago, Spiritual Qi revived, and the Hundred Schools of Thought flourished, each developing their own Cultivation methods.

However, the path of Cultivation, though varied, leads to the same destination, and the nine-rank division is universally recognized.

Ranks one to four are for body forging and Qi Refining, tempering the physical body and spirit, drawing Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi into the body, refining it within the Dantian to form True Qi.

A Rank Four Cultivator's True Qi circulates automatically in a Great Cycle, endlessly, no longer troubled by True Qi. A Rank Four is already one in ten thousand among Cultivators and considered a hero within the three kingdoms.

As for a Rank Five Cultivator, their True Qi needs to transform into True Essence, returning from Acquired to Innate, opening the Qi Sea and spiritual platform, allowing them to enter the ranks of a Great Cultivator. They are honored guests in all countries!

From Rank Six onwards, the Cultivation methods of different schools diverge. A Rank Five fills their Qi Sea with True Essence and begins to touch the Dao Intent!

The Dao Intent of Heaven and Earth contains the ultimate principles of Heaven and Earth, and it is also through comprehending the Dao Intent of Heaven and Earth that Cultivators Cultivate their respective Divine Abilities!

After Rank Six, Great Cultivators possess varied Divine Abilities, activating their Innate talents, which manifest different effects.

And the manifestation of Innate talents also varies in effect due to different family methods.

For example: the Daoists' Purple Mansion Golden Core, the Buddhists' Ten-Zhang Golden Body, the Sword Cultivators' Innate Sword Intent, the Martial Cultivators' Dharma Manifestation of Heaven and Earth... When a talent is mastered to Perfection, one reaches Rank Seven.

Rank Seven allows one to Cultivate the Primordial Spirit, ignite the divine fire of the spiritual platform, awaken Divine Sense, comprehend Yin and Yang, and traverse life and death!

An Eighth-Rank Great Cultivator is already rare in the world; their Primordial Spirit and true body merge, their Divine Abilities connect with Heaven and Earth, and their every word and action can trigger the Laws of Heaven and Earth!

At the world's apex, the Ninth-Rank Great Cultivator represents the pinnacle of Cultivation for all schools and sects. Daoist Immortal Master, Buddhist Living Buddha, Confucian Sub-Saint, Martial Cultivator True Monarch, and Sword Cultivator Sword Immortal are all honorific titles for Ninth-Rank Great Cultivators of their respective schools.

Every Ninth-Rank Cultivator is the most brilliant Prodigy in this world, and also a pioneer who leads an era!

And above the Ninth-Rank, the legendary Free Great Luo Heaven, Saint Realm, and Land Immortal Realm are all existences described in fictional tales!

Cultivators in the world possess varied talents and ever-changing Divine Abilities. The differences between Cultivators of various ranks are not vast; all things have their mutual generation and overcoming, and examples of the lower overcoming the higher are not uncommon.

Su Yi looked at the two who were listening with rapt attention and smiled, saying: "So, this Heaven and Earth is vast and splendid, yet, this Heaven and Earth is very small, so small that it cannot contain one person's ambition!"

Although he couldn't Cultivate, Su Yi, having lived for hundreds of years, was quite adept at matters of Cultivation.

The Aotian Sword Immortal from several hundred years ago was personally groomed by him; Cultivation is the most boring thing!

Su Yi looked at Gu Wanquan and said: "Wanquan, you are intelligent and possess an Innate Sword Body, and you have the Sword Immortal Legacy I gave you. Your path in the way of the sword will naturally shine brightly. However, sometimes too high a starting point is not a good thing; be careful not to lose yourself!"

Gu Wanquan bowed slightly, his expression serious, looking as if he was earnestly receiving instruction.

Su Yi then looked at the expectant Yin Chaoge and said: "Chaoge's personality is unrestrained, and his talent in fist arts is astonishing. The martial Dao will naturally flourish for you, but must you insist on using weapons?"

His words implied that he hoped Yin Chaoge would focus on the martial Dao, as the power of swords and blades was not suitable for Yin Chaoge.

However, Yin Chaoge, who had already shattered Heaven and Earth with his fists in his previous life, shook his head firmly.

If he were to focus on the martial Dao again, it would merely be treading the same path as his previous life, only to die on the opposing side of the world again.

In this life, Yin Chaoge wanted to take a different path, to comprehend a Dao he had never touched before.

Yin Chaoge glanced at Gu Wanquan, who was standing by with a smile, and his resolve firmed.

He definitely had to comprehend the Nine Swords of the Sword Immortal, then chop off the head of this White Noodle in front of him, to vent the hatred of his previous life!

Su Yi looked at his two disciples, who seemed to humbly accept his advice, but he could not see what thoughts were in their hearts.

The Master leads the way; Cultivation is up to the individual.

They had their own ideas, and Su Yi would not obstruct them further.

He only hoped they would be safe and happy, until... thinking of this, a trace of loneliness flashed in Su Yi's eyes.

After their natural lifespan, he would naturally see them to their end!
