2: Chapter 2 Strange Phenomena

While arranging for faculty and staff to serve hot tea to the staff in white robes, Lin Hanwen greeted them with a beaming smile.

"I wonder how the situation is at other schools this year."

Knowing that Lin Hanwen was trying to fish for information, the staff in white robes spoke without reservation: "We don't know either; we'll only know once the job transfer summaries are completed."

Another staff member added: "However, based on past trends, the job transfer situation at your First High School this year doesn't look optimistic."

Upon hearing this, Lin Hanwen's expression sank even further.

"But there's nothing that can be done about it; what class one awakens isn't something you, Principal Lin, can decide."

"Exactly, Principal Lin, you should try to look on the bright side. Besides, your First High School's transfer results haven't been very good in previous years anyway."

Once those words were spoken, Lin Hanwen instantly didn't know how to respond and could only silently offer his regards to this staff member's family.

Is that something a human being would say! How could such cold words come out of your 37-degree mouth!

After a brief rest, the job transfer ceremony continued.

"Tu Xiaoxia!"

When this name was called, a hint of anticipation instantly appeared on Lin Hanwen's face.

Tu Xiaoxia's reputation at First High School was quite renowned.

Not only because she always maintained the top grades, but also because she hated evil with a passion. If there was any person or matter she didn't like, she would never tolerate it. Because of this, many male students at First High School had been severely taught a lesson by her.

"Perhaps this unique girl can bring me some surprises?"

For some reason, this thought suddenly popped into Lin Hanwen's mind.

Tu Xiaoxia stepped out in response. She wasn't very tall, her figure was slightly slender, she wore her hair in twin tails, and her face was clean and fair, looking just like a little girl next door.

However, this was only her appearance. If you thought she would be as gentle and lovely as a girl next door, you would be greatly mistaken.

Tang Mo had personal experience with this.

It all started with a misunderstanding, and ever since then, Tu Xiaoxia had held a grudge against Tang Mo.

Walking onto the job transfer platform, Tu Xiaoxia suddenly looked back at Tang Mo on the playground, the provocative meaning in her eyes self-evident.

Afterwards, Tu Xiaoxia walked into the job transfer formation with confident strides.

"This young girl has a good temperament; she doesn't show the slightest fear in the face of such an important job transfer ceremony. She is worth looking forward to."

A staff member guarding the formation nodded and said.

The other staff members also nodded. Just based on this mindset, Tu Xiaoxia was far superior to the students just before her.

Upon hearing this, a smile appeared on Lin Hanwen's face. It seemed his intuition might have been right?

As the job transfer formation began to operate, a brilliant light instantly shot out from within it.

Amidst the light, a huge cross-shaped balance scale clearly appeared.

The playground instantly became even quieter; at this moment, if a needle were to drop, one could probably hear it clearly.

Lin Hanwen opened his mouth in surprise, his complexion changing from a liver-like color to a bright red. His expression was as if his throat had been plugged with a cork, wanting to make a sound but unable to do so.

This was because Tu Xiaoxia's situation was an anomaly during the job transfer, which meant that she would definitely transfer into a Rare-grade or higher class.

"Combat-type Legendary class: Judge!"

The moment the result came out, Lin Hanwen was instantly as happy as a two-hundred-pound child, even happier than if he had awakened a Legendary-grade class himself.

"Combat-type! Legendary-grade class! Hahahaha!!"

Combat classes and Support classes could be divided into three grades: Common, Rare, and Legendary.

It was already difficult to awaken a Common-grade combat class, let alone the Rare and Legendary grades above it, which were extremely rare existences.

Not to mention Jiangkou City, even the entire Jian'an Province might not produce one Legendary-grade combat class in a year.

With Tu Xiaoxia transferring into a Legendary-grade combat class, the whole school would benefit, and Lin Hanwen would finally be able to hold his head high.

"Wow! Tu Xiaoxia is amazing! She actually transferred into a Legendary-grade combat class!"

"Judge?! Although I don't know if it's powerful or not, a Legendary-grade combat class should be very strong, right!"

"Nonsense! Everyone in history who transferred into a Legendary-grade class later became a hegemon-level existence. You tell me if it's strong?!"

Tang Mo was expressionless, silently complaining in his heart: "Judge, it actually suits her quite well."

Tu Xiaoxia hopped and skipped out of the job transfer formation.

The principal immediately took her and walked towards the principal's office. As for the subsequent job transfer ceremony, he simply handed it over to the Dean of Studies to preside over.

The students on the playground looked at Tu Xiaoxia with envy.

Feeling that he had been entrusted with an important task, the Dean of Studies's entire face beamed with a smile like a blooming chrysanthemum.

Thus, he continued to shout: "Next, Wang Kaiwen!"

Hearing the Dean of Studies calling his name, Wang Kaiwen, who was behind Tang Mo, instantly took a deep breath, then held his head high and walked onto the platform.

The formation operated again, and a beam of light shot out from the formation once more.

Although the light was not as intense as that emitted during Tu Xiaoxia's transfer, it was still quite blinding.

"Another combat class?!"

According to past experience, this kind of light signified that it must be a combat class.

The Dean of Studies's face crinkled into a bun-like smile. He had just taken over the job transfer ceremony, and immediately a combat class appeared; no matter how you looked at it, it was a good omen.

"Combat-type class: Warrior!"

"Awesome! Even Wang Kaiwen transferred into a combat class."

"So envious! I want to transfer into a combat class too."

Another wave of envious sounds came from below the playground, and Wang Kaiwen also walked out of the job transfer formation with a happy face.

Returning to his position, people nearby all came over, chattering and asking this and that.

Wang Kaiwen said very smugly: "Warrior and Swordsman only differ by one character; it's passable, I guess."

"Next, Tang Mo!"

Finally, it was his turn. Tang Mo stood up directly and walked towards the formation.

As the formation operated again, suddenly, a pitch-black light emanated from the formation.

The originally clear sky instantly turned dark, and the sky was immediately filled with dark green clouds, appearing very eerie.

Then, one could see the dark green clouds in the sky condensing directly into a huge dark green skull, appearing very eerie.

The huge skull was like a vicious ghost crawling out of hell, ferociously charging towards the ground, instantly startling the students on the playground into screaming.

The staff in white robes responsible for the operation of the formation were also facing a formidable enemy, successively releasing defensive skills.

"Divine Protection!"

"Guardian Barrier!"

"Barrier of Light!"

However, it was completely useless.

The huge skull directly ignored all the barriers and dived straight towards the ground.

Some students on the playground were so frightened that they were frozen in place, while others were desperately running outwards. The scene instantly descended into chaos.
