207: a tiny place
A youth flew in from a distance and crashed down in front of the crowd.
The Dojo Master's expression immediately turned grim.
He stole a glance at Fang Bai and saw him frowning, causing his heart to tremble.
"Who did this?!"
The Dojo Master barked, his gaze shifting to a spot not far away.
A sparring ring stood nearby, surrounded by many teenagers. On the stage stood a richly dressed youth, watching with his arms crossed, looking perfectly composed.
Seeing the youth, the Dojo Master's face stiffened. "Miyamoto Eiji?"
Miyamoto?
Hearing the name, Fang Bai recalled the two major families of District Thirty-Six; one of them was indeed the Miyamoto Family.
The youth raised an eyebrow and said with some surprise, "Dojo Master? My apologies, we were just in the middle of a match."
Although he offered an apology, the youth showed no remorse whatsoever. Clearly, he didn't respect the Dojo Master at all.
The Dojo Master frowned. "The dojo has rules against injuring students. Eiji, you've gone too far."
Miyamoto Eiji leaped lightly in front of the group and said with a smile, "How can there be no injuries during a spar? Dojo Master, why don't you ask him if he minds?"
He glanced at the youth he had injured. The latter trembled and quickly shook his head. "No, no, no! Dojo Master, it was just a normal exchange. You can't blame Eiji."
Miyamoto Eiji's lips curled upward as he looked at the Dojo Master innocently, spreading his hands. "You see?"
The Dojo Master was speechless. Fang Bai raised an eyebrow; it was obvious that Miyamoto Eiji was like a school bully in this dojo. Furthermore, he was a martial artist whose level was one step higher than Yumi's, having reached the Late-stage First-tier.
Among so many teenagers, such a cultivation level was already top-tier.
The Dojo Master sighed and waved his hand. "Fine, manage your own limits, but remember not to cause any deaths."
Miyamoto Eiji couldn't have cared less. What if he did kill someone?
In District Thirty-Six, the Miyamoto Family was the absolute ruler! Even the government would show them respect!
It was just a death; at worst, they'd pay some compensation!
If that didn't work, they'd just wipe out the whole family!
Everyone knew Miyamoto Eiji's background, so he was usually the boss, and no one dared to cross him.
At that moment, Miyamoto Eiji's gaze fell on Yumi. Seeing how beautiful she was, his eyes lit up. "Who is this young lady?"
The Dojo Master quickly introduced her. "This is a new student, Yumi. She has already awakened. This is her family member, Mr. Fang, who is at least a Sixth-tier Martial Artist..."
He said this intentionally to warn Miyamoto Eiji, hoping to prevent him from acting out.
If the boy caused trouble, the Dojo Master would be caught in a very difficult position!
However, things went contrary to his wishes. Miyamoto Eiji didn't care about the Dojo Master's warning at all, ignoring his words entirely. He walked up to Yumi and grinned. "Newcomer, I've taken a liking to you! I'll give you a chance to be my follower!"
What?!
As soon as he spoke, everyone looked on with surprise and schadenfreude.
The Dojo Master hurriedly said, "Eiji, you can't do this. This is..."
"This is the foot of the throne!"
Miyamoto Eiji interrupted him indifferently, his gaze cold as he looked at the Dojo Master. "Don't forget, without my Miyamoto Family, would you even be able to keep this dojo open?"
As a scion of the Miyamoto Family, he was only here to experience life; he never viewed these people as human beings!
The Dojo Master's face turned pale.
Fang Bai couldn't understand the chattering of these devils, so he asked Clear Leaf to translate.
She explained the meaning of the youth's words with some indignation. After listening, Fang Bai's gaze landed on Miyamoto Eiji.
You kid have already found a path to your own death!
Yumi said angrily, her small face flushed, "Impossible! I won't be your follower! Please don't bother me!"
Miyamoto Eiji sneered. "What are you pretending for? You poor trash from the Slums, it's your honor to be able to follow This Young Master!"
Yumi said crossly, "We're all classmates, you're going too far!"
Miyamoto Eiji laughed exaggeratedly as if he had heard the joke of the century. "Who's your classmate? You Commoners aren't qualified to stand on equal footing with me!"
These words were undoubtedly aimed at everyone present, but no one dared to retort because what he said was the truth, and he had the status to say it!
Who dared to voice opposition? How would that be any different from open rebellion?
Miyamoto Eiji said impatiently, "Little girl, I advise you to obey quietly. Otherwise, once I get serious, you won't last a day in District Thirty-Six!"
Yumi's face turned pale.
"It seems there's no peace even in a dojo!"
A soft sigh rang out.
Everyone looked at the speaker, their faces filled with confusion and oddity.
Because they couldn't understand what he was saying at all!
"Dragon Country language! He's from the Dragon Country!"
An exclamation rang out, and a wave of discussion immediately broke out around them!
The speaker was indeed Fang Bai. He looked at Yumi and said, "How about you just quit this dojo? This environment isn't suitable for you."
Yumi thought for a moment and then nodded. "I'll listen to Brother Fang Bai."
Seeing the beauty he had set his sights on being so obedient to another man, Miyamoto Eiji's face instantly darkened.
He looked at Fang Bai furiously and said, "Damned Dragon Country brute! Who do you think you are? If you've got the guts, let's duel!"
*Slap!*
A crisp slapping sound rang out, and Miyamoto Eiji's body was sent flying backward!
Fang Bai slowly retracted his hand and said indifferently, "For such a tiny speck of land, you certainly have a big mouth."
Silence!
A deathly silence where one could hear a needle drop!
Everyone's eyes widened, looking at the scene in disbelief.
They never expected that he would actually dare to strike a member of the Miyamoto Family!
Was he crazy?
Was he trying to start a rebellion?
The Dojo Master's face turned bloodless, and his legs went weak. "It's over... everything is over!"
Miyamoto Eiji was hit on his territory; as the Dojo Master, he was definitely doomed!
He had to run!
Yumi's eyes sparkled as she looked at Fang Bai. "So cool!"
Fang Bai glanced at her and said, "Remember, in this world, only absolute strength can prevent you from being bullied by others, allow you to master your own fate, and even decide the life and death of others."
Yumi nodded with extreme seriousness. "Mm-hmm! I'll remember!"
"Argh! My face! My teeth!"
Nearby, Miyamoto Eiji's screams finally rang out. He roared in anger, stood up, and pointed at Fang Bai. "You... do you know who I am? My father is Miyamoto Kamio!"
"What bear or black bear? If you want revenge, just come at me—as long as the Miyamoto Family doesn't mind being wiped out!"
Fang Bai left these words indifferently, then turned and left with the mother and daughter.
No more school!
