1: Chapter 1: 10 Tons of Force!

Legend has it that there is an unwritten rule in the construction industry.

Whoever can carry away a coil of steel with their bare hands, that coil of steel belongs to them.

"Brother, everything is negotiable. Please, calm down first."

The Steel Mill boss stared at the young man in front of him, covered in cold sweat. His legs wanted to move, but they were as if welded to the spot, completely unable to budge.

"It's just a cold-rolled steel coil, right? I'll gift it to you, brother, just don't get agitated!"

But Chen Mo seemed not to hear the Steel Mill boss at all. Veins bulged all over his body as he stubbornly hoisted the steel coil onto his shoulder with his bare hands.

With the Steel Mill boss and his employees watching with eyes wide in disbelief, Chen Mo straightened his back, slowly squatted down, and then slowly stood up.

He had actually performed an extremely standard squat.

Bang!

With a dull thud, Chen Mo placed the steel coil back in its original position and smiled at the Steel Mill boss.

"It's nothing, brother. I was just borrowing it, and here it is, returned to you."

"Also, no calling the police."

With the Steel Mill boss and a crowd of employees watching, Chen Mo's figure gradually disappeared at the end of the street.

"Call the police, call them now!"

"Get the Martial Education Bureau to come and catch him. I suspect an Abyss Beast has transformed into a human and snuck into the city!"

At the Luo City Orphanage, an old man with a wrinkled face stared, bewildered, at several fully armed staff members from the Martial Education Bureau.

"Yes, our Orphanage does indeed have an orphan named Chen Mo."

The old man adjusted his glasses and shrugged, feigning innocence.

"But he is not a rectangle two and a half meters long and two meters wide. That child is very thin and weak."

The old man wasn't actually lying; Chen Mo really wasn't two and a half meters tall, he was only two point four nine meters.

He wasn't two meters wide either, only one point three five meters.

"Director Gu Sanding, it's not that we don't believe you, but this is the duty of our Martial Education Bureau."

"It would be best to have the child come out so we can perform a genetic test."

The leading captain clearly respected the old man before him and had no intention of making things difficult for him.

They could close the case after following the procedure.

"This..."

"The child doesn't seem to be home?"

Director Gu Sanding's expression stiffened, and his eyes darted around.

"Director Gu Sanding, we have already checked the surveillance footage. Please, have the child come out quickly."

The small captain of the Martial Education Bureau sighed, speaking with some helplessness.

"Alright..."

Director Gu Sanding sighed. It seemed he couldn't avoid it today.

He wondered how much money he would have to pay in damages this time.

"Chen Mo! Get out here right now, the Martial Education Bureau is here to see you!"

Director Gu Sanding took a deep breath and shouted toward the Orphanage dormitory building.

"Coming!"

The voice, uniquely full of the vitality of youth, rang out. A young man wearing a white T-shirt and faded trousers ran out from the courtyard.

"You are Chen Mo?"

The captain looked at the young man in front of him, who could hardly be called sturdy, and was even a bit thin. He couldn't connect him at all to the rectangular shape in the surveillance footage.

"Yes, I am Chen Mo."

Chen Mo smiled at the captain. That smile was very sunny and cheerful; he looked like a good kid.

"Xiao Liu, bring over the genetic scanner."

But the captain did not let his guard down; instead, he became even more vigilant.

Because he noticed that every step Chen Mo took, the ground beneath his feet would slightly indent.

This was clearly not something a human could do; only heavy machinery could deform hardened ground while moving.

Xiao Liu took a palm-sized genetic scanner out of the suitcase, and a faint blue light beam scanned across Chen Mo's body.

A few seconds later, looking at the genetic scanner emitting a green light, the Martial Education Bureau special operations team finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Alright, there's no problem."

The captain put away his weapon, walked up to Chen Mo, and patted his shoulder.

"Kid, just report your awakened talent. This is something many martial artists would kill for."

He wasn't a fool, or rather, even a fool could see that the young man in front of him had issues.

Just the fact that his body was slowly sinking into the ground said it all.

But the captain didn't point it out because he was too familiar with this Orphanage; he himself had come from here.

Once a talent is awakened, one must attend a martial arts high school and participate in the City-level Joint Exam and the National Joint Exam.

The registration fee alone was not something the Orphanage or this young man could afford, so he could understand why they chose to conceal it.

"Alright, team, pack up."

"If anything comes up, give me a call. Old Director, I'm leaving now."

The captain waved at Director Gu Sanding and took his team into that pitch-black armored vehicle.

"Phew..."

Director Gu Sanding let out a long breath, only to hear a dull thud from behind him.

"..."

Slowly turning his head, Director Gu Sanding looked at Chen Mo, whose body size had expanded several times over, leaving him with only a pair of briefs, and covered his face in pain.

"I really have no tricks left..."

"Sorry, Director, I really couldn't hold it in anymore."

Chen Mo also awkwardly scratched the back of his head. He had just learned the Muscle Compression Technique, wasn't very skilled at it yet, and couldn't hold it for too long.

"If there's nothing else, I'm going to go eat. I haven't eaten anything since this morning."

After speaking, Chen Mo ran toward the Orphanage's cafeteria with a thud-thud-thud, the ground shaking violently under his trampling.

"You brat, take it easy!"

Director Gu Sanding was so angry he could have jumped, but he had absolutely no way to deal with this child, Chen Mo.

"Don't you know how strong you are?"

Ever since this child was sent flying by a hundred-ton truck six months ago, this thin and weak child seemed to have become a different person.

Every day was nothing but training; his body size began to expand at a visible rate, and his strength began to skyrocket crazily.

As an Orphanage director who had seen countless people, Director Gu Sanding knew that this child had awakened a talent after being hit by that hundred-ton truck.

It's just that this talent was a bit absurd. Others had things like wind, fire, lightning, space, time, or at the very least, super-regeneration or beast control.

But this kid Chen Mo just had pure, brute strength!

"Sigh..."

Director Gu Sanding sighed. It seemed he would have to go out and find another part-time job.

Otherwise, even if they just ate carbs all day, he wouldn't be able to afford to raise these children in the Orphanage.

"So after awakening a talent, one must participate in the martial artist Joint Exam."

"Where am I supposed to get that kind of money..."

"If push comes to shove, should I go find a hundred-ton truck to stage an accident with?"

Director Gu Sanding muttered to himself while taking out his phone.

"Boss Hu, do you still need a cook over there?"

"Yes, it's me. I'm short on money recently, so I'm coming over to get some cash..."
