301: Chapter 301 Spirit Armor Project

On the third day after Chen Rong and Lin Wan successfully completed their Foundation Establishment, Su Mingyuan called a small-scale meeting.

The location was in the main control room of the Forward Base, and there were only five people attending.

Su Mingyuan, Tao Zhe, Zhang Wei, Chen Rong, and Lin Wan.

They did not notify the Main World, nor did they connect to Elder Qin's line.

This was not a reporting meeting, but a catch-up meeting.

Su Mingyuan stood in front of the large screen in the main control room, which displayed the topographic map of the Yaowu World.

The location of the Forward Base was marked as a blue dot, and a circle of light blue around it was marked as "Cleared Area", with a total area of about sixty square kilometers.

The areas outside the light blue were all gray, representing unknown regions.

"I have thought about the grouping plan for the Spiritual Armor Plan for two days, and it is basically finalized," Su Mingyuan said bluntly, "Let's talk about the structure first."

He brought up a grouping chart on the screen.

"Two thousand mechas, divided into three echelons."

He pointed to the top column.

"First Echelon — Spearhead Formation. One hundred and twenty units. All of them are spiritualized modified skyfall steel mechas, numbered S-series. Chen Rong and Lin Wan are each responsible for sixty units, controlled remotely."

Neither Chen Rong nor Lin Wan spoke.

Sixty units per person was not the limit for those at the Foundation Establishment Stage, but it was not easy either.

"Second Echelon — Backbone Force. Eighty-seven units." Su Mingyuan pointed to the second column, "Eighty-seven Second-Order Martial Artists, each remotely controlling one unit. This batch of people just mastered Intermediate control last month, and their practical combat experience is insufficient, but the advantage of remote combat is that even if the mecha is destroyed, the person is safe."

Zhang Dabiao nodded slightly.

He had the highest control precision among these eighty-seven people, and he was also the only one whose remote control distance could exceed ten kilometers.

"The third echelon serves as the main force. The remaining approximately one thousand eight hundred units." Su Mingyuan said, "First-Order Martial Artists control them inside the cockpit, which is essentially still human-machine integration."

He put away the grouping chart.

"This is the mecha formation. But what I want to talk about today is not just about the mechas."

Su Mingyuan switched pages.

An urban planning map appeared on the screen.

Road grids, functional zones, and architectural clusters were marked in great detail at every location.

Right in the center of the map, a name was written in large red characters.

"Dawn City."

Tao Zhe glanced at the map and did not speak immediately.

Zhang Dabiao blinked.

Chen Rong tilted his head.

Lin Wan had no reaction at all.

"My idea is like this."

Su Mingyuan's tone changed from a commander to a planner, and his speech slowed down a bit.

"Among the four Otherworlds, the Zombie World is an energy base, and the Giant World and Zerg World are Materials production bases. They each have their own value, but they share a common problem: none of them are suitable for human habitation."

He pointed to the topographic map on the screen.

"The Yaowu World is different. The air is clean, the concentration of Spiritual Qi is high, gravity is almost the same as the Main World, the climate is mild, there are water sources, vegetation, and arable land. More importantly — the environment here itself is accelerating human evolution. Just breathing can make you stronger."

He paused for a moment.

"This is the only place among the four worlds suitable for large-scale habitation."

Tao Zhe spoke at this time.

"You want to build a Cultivation city."

"Not just a city," Su Mingyuan said, "I want to build it into Daxia's Cultivation base — gathering citizens with B-Rank Root Bone or above nationwide, and sending them here in batches. Cultivation, training, and selection will all be completed here."

He glanced at Tao Zhe.

"You can understand it as — the Cultivation version of the Whampoa Military Academy."

The main control room was quiet for a few seconds.

Zhang Dabiao was the first to react.

"Then the safe zone is not big enough," he said, "Currently, sixty kilometers around the Forward Base has been cleared, but how many people can sixty kilometers hold? To build a city, we must push the safe zone to over three hundred kilometers at least."

"Correct," Su Mingyuan said, "So we must expand and open up the situation in the Yaowu World."

He enlarged the topographic map, pointing to the large gray area north of the Forward Base.

"Going north from the Forward Base is the direction where Yao Beasts are most dense. After the last clearance of Black Wind Ridge, the south and east are relatively safe, but the north has basically not been touched."

He drew a line on the map — starting from the Forward Base, straight north.

"Advance all the way north. Clear all high-Rank Yao Beasts along the way and secure a large enough safe zone. At the same time — hunt Yao Beasts to obtain Yao Dan, refine realm breaking pills, and feed back into the Cultivation system."

Tao Zhe pushed his glasses.

"I have an addition regarding the direction," he said, "Zhao Hu mentioned something before. According to records in Cang City's ancient books, the direction where the 'skyfire' fell one hundred years ago is to the north. The specific distance is unclear, and the people of Cang City have never ventured deep into that area because the density of Yao Beasts is too high. But the ancient books say that the closer one gets to the skyfire impact point, the higher the number and Rank of Yao Beasts."

Su Mingyuan looked at the gray unknown area on the map.

"Skyfire impact point," he repeated.

Once again, one hundred years ago.

Once again, meteorites.

The Zombie World, Giant World, and Zerg World — the disasters in every world were related to the meteorites from one hundred years ago.

The Yaowu World was no exception.

"Then we must push even more in that direction," Su Mingyuan said, "High Yao Beast density means high production of Yao Dan. Moreover —"

He didn't finish the second half of the sentence.

But Tao Zhe understood.

If the disasters in all four worlds were related to meteorites, then the meteorite impact point itself might hide some secret.

"When will the plan be reported?" Tao Zhe asked.

"Tonight I will make a call with Elder Qin," Su Mingyuan said, "The urban construction plan and the expedition plan will be reported together."

He glanced at the four people present.

"Grouping training starts tomorrow, with a duration of two weeks. Two weeks later, we will sweep the Yao Beasts."

The meeting ended just like that.

There was no extra discussion.

The five people each went about their own business.

That night, Su Mingyuan had a forty-minute encrypted phone call with Elder Qin.

He reported three things.

Chen Rong and Lin Wan's successful Foundation Establishment, the grouping plan for the Spiritual Armor forces, and the conception of Dawn City.

Without hesitation, Elder Qin directly approved Su Mingyuan's action.

Su Mingyuan put down the phone, glanced at the documents spread out on the table, and then put them away into a drawer.

He took out a white porcelain bottle from another drawer, inside which were more than twenty realm breaking pills.

Two weeks.

He needed to use two weeks to push from the Second-Order to the Third-Order.

This was not an easy goal.

Although the Cultivation speed of an S-Rank Root Bone was much faster than that of ordinary people, the leap from Second-Order to Third-Order was not simply the accumulation of spiritual power — it required further widening of the Meridians, expansion of the Dantian capacity, and the transformation of the spiritual power operation mode from "storage" to "external release".

The symbol of a Third-Order Martial Artist was the external release of Spiritual Qi — releasing spiritual power outside the body to form attacks or defenses.

The transition from Second-Order to Third-Order was a qualitative change from "Internal Skill" to "external skill".

Su Mingyuan didn't think much more.

He put the realm breaking pill into his mouth and closed his eyes.

The moment the medicinal power dissolved, a familiar burning sensation burned all the way from his throat to the Dantian.

The Spiritual Qi began to circulate.

A fine, swelling pain came from the Meridians, but it was much better than when he first broke through to the First-Order.

People get used to pain.

This was one of the few personal experiences Su Mingyuan had learned over the past few months.

He recalled the scene when Chen Rong and Lin Wan underwent Foundation Establishment — ice and thunder, a pillar of Qi soaring into the sky, and the entire Cultivation room shaking.

And here with him — there were no anomalous phenomena at all.

The gap between S-Rank and SSS-Rank was not just numerical.

Su Mingyuan knew he could not catch up to Chen Rong and Lin Wan.

They were swords.

While he was the person holding the sword.

The person holding the sword did not need to be sharper than the sword.

But he at least needed enough strength to raise the sword.
