104: An angel descended? I smashed him with one punch!
In the sky above the wasteland, fifty kilometers east of Dragon City.
Three "Angels," their bodies radiating soft white light and energy wings spanning from their backs, hovered in mid-air, looking down from their height at the majestic steel megacity in the distance.
Leading them was a man with blonde hair and blue eyes, possessing a handsome face that didn't seem Mortal. His name was Gabriel, one of Eden's "Seven Archangels," an S-rank Peak powerhouse whose "Holy Light Judgment" had purified countless powerful mutant beasts and heretics.
"Lord Gabriel, the global energy monitoring System shows that not long ago, a massive energy fluctuation originated from the direction of Dragon City, directly causing instability in the world's Origin," a silver-haired female angel reported respectfully. "'God' has ordered us to investigate the truth of the matter."
With an innate arrogance in his gaze, Gabriel glanced contemptuously at Dragon City in the distance. "What tricks can a group of barbarians who only know how to fight with brute force pull off? Perhaps their 'Dragon Vein' energy went out of control and they blew themselves up."
In his view, Eden, which believed in technology and genetic evolution, was the future Dominator of this world. A power like Dragon City, which retained many old-era traditions and relied on a single "Dragon Emperor" to sustain itself, was backward and ignorant.
"Let's go, we'll head over and question that fellow named Invincible in the East," Gabriel waved his hand, his tone dismissive. "If he dares to hide anything, I don't mind letting him taste the purification of the Holy Light."
Three streaks of light cut through the sky, flying straight toward Dragon City.
However, before they could fly very far, a green-robed figure appeared before them without warning, blocking their path.
It was Chu He.
Gabriel's trio came to a sudden halt, looking warily at this suddenly appearing black-haired man.
They couldn't sense any energy fluctuations from him; he seemed like an ordinary person. But in a place like this, an ordinary person who could hover in thin air was, in itself, the most extraordinary existence.
"Who are you? You dare to block Eden's path?" Gabriel furrowed his brows, questioning him with an unfriendly tone.
Chu He stood with his hands behind his back, sizing up the three birdmen before him, finding it somewhat novel. Using energy to simulate wings looked quite intimidating, but unfortunately, it was all flash and no substance.
"Eden?" Chu He spoke indifferently. "I don't care what kind of garden you are. From now on, this planet belongs to me. You have two choices: submit, or die."
Hearing such extremely arrogant remarks, Gabriel was stunned for a moment before bursting into loud laughter, as if he had heard the world's biggest joke.
"Hahahaha! Belongs to you? Who do you think you are? God?" He laughed so hard he leaned back and forth. "Are all the monkeys of the Eastern Continent as ignorant and conceited as you?"
"It seems you've chosen death," Chu He's eyes turned cold.
What he detested most were these fools who didn't know their place and had foul mouths.
"Seeking death!" Gabriel's laughter stopped abruptly, and a chilling killing intent surfaced on his handsome face. "Let this lowly insect witness the power of God!"
He raised his hands high, chanting obscure syllables.
In an instant, the clouds in the sky shifted, and a massive hundred-meter-long light sword, condensed from high-concentration Holy Light energy, slowly took shape within the clouds, radiating a terrifying power capable of purifying all things.
"Under the Holy Light, repent for your sins! Holy Light Judgment!"
Gabriel pointed downward sharply, and the hundred-meter light sword, carrying a shrill whistle that tore through the air, slashed down toward Chu He's head with the force of a thunderbolt!
This strike contained ten-tenths of his power, enough to level a small mountain!
Seeing this, the other two angels wore cruel smiles, as if they had already seen the scene of Chu He being evaporated into nothingness by the Holy Light.
However, facing this world-destroying strike, Chu He's expression didn't change in the slightest.
He didn't even bother to lift an eyelid.
Just as the massive light sword was about to touch the top of his head, he simply raised his right hand slowly, clenched his fingers into a fist, and delivered a casual, light punch toward the dazzling Holy Light.
There was no startling Aura, no flashy special effects.
Just such a simple punch.
But, the moment his fist made contact with that hundred-meter light sword.
*Crack—*
A crisp sound, like glass shattering, rang out.
Starting from the tip, a tiny crack appeared on the sword of Holy Light that the S-rank Peak powerhouse had condensed with all his might.
Immediately after, the cracks spread across the entire blade like a spiderweb at an incredible speed!
*Bang!*
Under the horrified and desperate gazes of Gabriel's trio, the massive sword of Holy Light exploded like an ice sculpture hit by a heavy hammer, turning into golden specks of light that filled the sky before dissipating into the air.
One punch, breaking the law!
"This... this is impossible!" Gabriel let out a scream as if he had seen a ghost, his pride and confidence blown to pieces at this moment.
However, this was only the beginning.
Chu He's punch momentum wasn't exhausted. The seemingly ordinary punch wind, after shattering the light sword, ignored the distance of space and printed itself directly onto Gabriel's chest.
*Pfft—*
Gabriel's body was like a punctured water bag.
The Holy Light Battle Armor on his body, the S-rank powerful Physical Body he was so proud of, the energy core inside him... everything, under this punch, was completely crushed into the most primitive particles from the inside out by an irresistible, overbearing force.
Without even being able to let out a scream, this overbearing "Archangel" exploded into a brilliant cloud of blood in the air.
Both body and soul were obliterated.
The air instantly froze.
The remaining two silver-haired female angels, maintaining their horrified expressions, were completely petrified on the spot.
Their brains could no longer process the scene occurring before them.
One punch... with just one punch, he blew up the S-rank Peak Lord Gabriel?
What kind of terrifying existence was this? SS-rank? Or the legendary SSS-rank that had never appeared?
Just as they were plunged into endless fear and daze, Chu He's gaze fell upon them.
"Now, it's your turn."
He looked at the two pretty faces distorted by fear and said indifferently, "Go back and tell your 'God' to crawl to Dragon City and kneel within three days. Otherwise, there will be no need for Eden to exist."
After saying that, Chu He waved his large sleeve, and a soft but irresistible force swept up the two female angels, throwing them toward the direction of Eden.
He couldn't be bothered to kill these two minor characters.
Letting them go back to deliver the message would maximize the fear and save him a trip.
Having done all this, Chu He turned and looked toward the west and north, a cold smile curling at the corners of his mouth.
"Next, Valhalla."
